          Rhosdy is awesome!
The tour gave us an impressive glimpse of the beauty and ancient treasures of the country. Our incredible guide Rhosdy was extremely professional. He conveyed his love to his country and history, explained everything in detail and charmingly, and showed us his impressive time management skills

All the Major Luxor sights in one day!
This tour was one of the best tours ever! Our guide, Roshdy Khodery, was terrific! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful; very considerate of all of our needs, schedule requests and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. The lunch provided (prearranged for extra charge) was delicious and the staff were very attentive to everything. The sights on this tour are once in a lifetime for any traveler to Egypt. If you are only planning to be in Cairo to see the pyramids, you will be selling yourself short. The price vs. value was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Our driver, Ahmed, was excellent…he knew how to avoid traffic like a pro. & was always waiting for us with the needed air conditioning on after each site visit. If you request these to your tour will be beyond your expectations and you’ll really feel as though you got more than your moneys’ worth with this trip and staff - highest recommendation!

A very enjoyable tour through the archaeological sides on the west side of the Nil in Luxor
It was a fantastic tour to all of the important archaeological sites on the west side of the Nil in Luxor. Our very knowledgeable guide Mohamed Awad lead us with a calm voice through all the sites and showed us even the tiniest details on walls, statues and tombs. Very interesting. Additional questions were answered competently as well. Our group can recommend the tour and our guide to everyone who wants to visit the archaeological sites on the west sides without missing anything.

          Great private tour experience
This was a great tour with a dedicated and friendly guide. Khaled was punctual, very informative of the sites we visited, and allowed us to go at our pace. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a calm, quiet, friendly experience. Pro tip: ask for an early start time so you can avoid the hot afternoon sun!

Luxor West Bank with Reflection Tours
Our guide Barry from Reflection Tours was an incredibly knowledgeable guide for our day-long tour of sites in Luxor's West Bank. He expertly (and patiently) highlighted the best features of each site we visited, providing us with historical insights that greatly enhanced our experience. We would have booked another day, had our schedule so permitted.(Our driver was very courteous and drove carefully and smoothly.)

          Full Day Private Luxor Tour
We had an excellent tour around Luxor with Mr. Roshdy the tour guide and Mr. Hamdy the driver yesterday! Mr. Roshdy was very knowledgeable about all of the sights. He was also very funny and friendly. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful in making sure we had a smooth entrance into every location. The personalized tour was a great experience for getting to spend time where we wanted.

          Full day private Luxor tour
Setting up this tour was a breeze. I put in a request on the Reflections Travel website and within a day, Ali reached out to me via whatsapp. Everything was set up through there. Our tour was with Mr Roshdy and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, and gave my wife and I ample time to enjoy each of the sites after he filled us in with the history. He helped take plenty of photos and answered all of our questions professionally. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

          Great day out
Mohamed Awad was an excellent guide, showing us the best tombs in the Valley of the Kings and going into detail about the meanings behind some of the hieroglyphs on the walls at Hatshepsut Temple. Highly recommend!

You don’t need a hotel tour!
Waleed was an exceptional guide! Local archaeologists with perfect English and all the necessary facts. Was very friend, did not rush us and adjusted the tour to our interests. He even brought for lunch to a very local place with exceptional food (and meeting all the vegetarian and gluten free requirements!). Car was new and very comfortable. Would strongly recommend!

Went for the Luxor Day tour with Abdo from reflections - Abdo was extremely knowledgeable and is able to explain the history and meaning behind the places we visited. He even agreed to take us to a few more additional activities after the tour. This guide is strongly recommended.

Expensive tour but with a brilliant guide
We had a tour of the Valley of the Queens, Ramesseum, Temple of Seti I and Howard Carter’s House. These sites are not very popular and there were very few tourists there - so that was enjoyable. The car provided was new and comfortable and the driver Youssuf was good. The best part was our guide Waleed - a trained Egyptologist who truly knew the history, the meaning of hieroglyphics and wholeheartedly enjoyed to explain the details of various sites. We had a wonderful time thanks to Waleed!

Roshdy, our tour guide was very informative and fun to be around.

We are always a bit hesitant to pay the "premium" on tour guides vs. just going ourselves but would definitely recommend this one due to the number of stops and history behind all the stops.

My husband and I took a full day trip with Guide Barry and we cannot say enough good things about our trip! Barry was very punctual and met us in our lobby right on time; the vehicle was brand new, spacious, and very clean. During the tour I never felt rushed and Barry led us through the temples at a comfortable pace while teaching us much about Egyptian history (and unlike other tours, we did not make any unplanned stops to shops or markets). If you’re looking for a compassionate, respectful tour guide for your next experience, I would recommend Barry in a heartbeat; a decision you’ll never regret!

We had a fantastic trip with Mohsen. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and made it a great experience for us. All tickets were pre-purchased (additional tomb tickets could be purchased on top). All arrangements were pre-made so it was a hassle free experience. Our tour took 5hrs door to door with pickup and drop off from our hotel on the West Bank. We would highly recommend Mohsen who was a walking encyclopaedia of Egyptian knowledge.

My Girlfriend and I had an incredible experience during our tour with Roshdy. We started our journey in Egypt at Cairo to see the great Pyramids. As great as the pyramids were our experience in dealing with locals and guides was at the opposite end of the spectrum. Got conned multiple times and it was frustrating.

Roshdy was like a breath of fresh air. He was kind, thoughtful, patient and very well informed. He did not push us into buying anything and was not overbearing.

He took us to a really good restaurant called Africa (had vegetarian and vegan options) which had a great view of the Nile.
He also went above and beyond by taking us to a perfume shop which was not in our iternarary and was super prompt in getting our phone charger back to our hotel which we had forgotten in the car.

I highly recommend using Reflections Travel with Roshdy as your guide! You will not be disappointed!

Haney and Ahmed (respectful driver) picked us up on time and they had the tickets and timed everything in an organized fashion. Haney walked with us to all sites but did not enter any thumbs because guides are not allowed (not sure about the latter since we saw a few inside giving tours). Unfortunately towards the end of the day, we were disappointed with the lunch place because the meals were overpriced ($10), and so were the sodas ($3). I would recommend to the travel agency to arrange a deal with a fair and honest restaurant and simply include it in the package. The fact that we bring American dollars doesn't mean that tourists must pay 3x or 4x the fair prices, unfortunately, it felt like lots of Luxor people wanted to overprice everything. Aside from this, Haney was kind, funny, and his English fluency is pretty decent but could still use some practice to ensure tourists understand 100%.

I booked a full day tour of Luxor - tour itself was good. But i have rated them 1 star as they participate in scamming the tourists- so please be aware when booking a tour.

As part of their tour they take the tourist to a store called Sekhmet stating we should buy from this store. They create a whole story as to how everything is handmade by the team, & how we should never buy from the street vendor’s as they are selling very poor quality products hence their price it is soo cheap.

Beware nothing in the store is handmade, it is mass produced. Everything is extremely over priced i.e they want £100 just for a small statue which you see the street vendors selling the same for £2.

Mohsen was our guide for two days and Islam was our driver. We had a rocky start as Reflections told them the wrong pickup time - 9am when we had booked 8am. They did apologise and managed to arrive for 8.40am. We didn't feel rushed and saw the West bank sites. We didn't need to queue and we avoided crowds so we recommend going as early as possible. His knowledge and friendliness made up for the late start. He took us to the tombs that were most worth seeing and offered us the opportunity to see Tutankhamun's tomb but gave us the pros and cons so we could make an informed decision.
At the temple of Hatshepsut, he explained the site and let us wander on our own. We weren't sure if we were missing out on his guidance because we did see a tour guide explaining some hieroglyphics, and then we asked him about the relics and he explained a bit. We ended the tour with the colossi of Memnon which was ok, and then was dropped off at our hotel for lunch. Even though it was a short full day, it felt like we had covered a lot.

For day two, they did come on time and we were taken to the Karnak and luxor temples which were both amazing and he explained in detail a lot of hieroglyphics and discussed theories to our interests with passion. He also gave us time to absorb, marvel and explore at our own pace. Again, we returned back to the hotel in time for lunch and felt like we had a full day.

If you get Mohsen, you will have a lovely time.

The tour was no nonsense (gift shops, papyrus "museums", spice shops) so recommend if you're not into all that and are just interested in the history of Luxor.

I booked my tour at the last minute with Reflections Travel. Youssef was my tour guide and he doubled up as my personal photographer. He was very informative and flexible with the schedule. I was very interested in the artwork inside the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, so I spent a longer time there - he was very accommodating and worked around preferences. The tour itself was great - you’ll get to visit almost all the main attractions on the West Bank. It’s a long day, but you will learn a lot and get to see some of Egypt’s most treasured sites. I would highly recommend Reflections Travel for your tours in Luxor - ask for Youssef!

We booked this tour during our 10 day visit to Egypt and it’s been everything we could’ve hoped for.

We booked one day prior, so that’s quite short notice. TripAdvisor’s payment system faltered, but I made arrangements through WhatsApp and they showed great flexibility there.

Our guide and driver arrived right on time to pick us up at our hotel.

All the sights in this tour are fantastic and really not to be missed if you’re in Egypt. I think the Valley of the Kings is even more impressive than the Pyramids – but of course it’s not a contest.

Our guide Sayed has so much knowledge and insights, it was fantastic. He showed us bits and pieces we would’ve never seen ourselves and he gave context to the things we saw. He also likes to ask quick quiz questions like “Remember I told you about Anubis, the god of …”. I didn’t always know the answers because it’s quite a lot to take in ;-).

Both Sayed and our driver were polite and chivalrous. Asking if we’re comfortable in the car, offering to buy water and suggesting to take toilet breaks at known clean places.
Of course he buys the tickets to all the sites so you don’t have to worry about that.

Only thing I didn’t like were the people offering unsolicited help at the various sites and then expecting payment. Even the official overseers in the tombs do that, which is super annoying. But that’s just the way it is in Egypt.

The pacing of the tour is really good. You can go as fast or slow as you like. We ended up doing the tour in 6.5h which was great because it was a very hot day (42°C).

So, to sum up:
I can highly recommend this tour.

Roshdy was an awesome guide! The best that we have had so far this trip. He gave plenty of details and didn’t rush us from site to site, like others have. He also did a very good job of running interference between our group and the people selling cheap souvenirs. Although lunch wasn’t included, he suggested a local cafe that served the best Egyptian food we’ve eaten on our trip. 5 Stars. Definitely recommend requesting Roshdy for any Luxor tour you’re doing!
