Experience the exciting Hot Air Balloon ride over the river Nile and Egypt's most famous ancient monuments in the West Bank of Luxor for about 30-45 minutes flight. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open air museum city(Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below. All transportation to and from the launch site is included for a door-to-door experience.

- The Balloon Ride trip departs every day, however, confirmation in advance is highly recommended. Departure time may vary depending on sunrise time. The hotel picks up takes place 45 minutes before take off scheduled time. The children under 6 years are not allowed to fly, they can be waiting for you in the ground support van&crew following your balloon.

Blue belt hot air balloon was magnificent. The pilot Mohammed was awesome, friendly and funny guy. He made us comfortable. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Don’t be afraid to get up at 3:30 in the morning to take part of this amazing Balloon ride for a sunrise over Luxor with stunning views of Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon as you take off and then glide towards the Nile with views over Luxor. Arriving there in the dark, we had to wait a bit for winds to settle down. When it was safe to go, we were ready for take off in the save hands of our very experienced pilot. Awsome experience!

The opportunity to see all of Luxor at once. Our excellent guide Mona set up transfers to arrive at the crack of dawn to the location of the hot air balloons.Getting there and back is an easy process. There were several hot air balloons and plenty of staff in a well organized operation. Seeing Luxor at sunrise is a sight to behold. We saw the ancient temples Mona eventually would bring us to later in the day.
You hop in and share the ballon with other guests. The pilot was professional and pointed out all the landmarks in sight. The grounds crew is well organized and I felt safe throughout the journey. I will not forget this experience. Thank you Mona for setting this up for us.

...No words could describe the feeling of watching the sunrise in the air over the Nile, surrounded by other hot air balloons with a view of ancient Egyptian temples/monuments below. It was absolutely stunning and I was in awe.
This excursion was booked through our tour guide Mona from LoveEgyptTrips and I think it is most likely the best price there is for hot air ballooning. Thank you to our pilot Anter (unsure of spelling) — it was 100% a highlight of our time in Egypt and I highly recommend it!!
