- Departure6340165524800A must-do in AswanMarwa was an absolutely incredible guide and we cannot recommend this tour more highly. She herself is Nubian and has an in-depth understanding of the culture that an average tour guide would not. The breathtaking beauty and the hospitality of the Nubian villages make the excursion a must-do for any visitors to Aswan. As an added bonus, you’d also be supporting a small, women-owned business in an incredibly competitive industry!
- Amir A00Cultural immersionHad a great time exploring the Nubian village and learning more about the Nubian culture, guide was friendly and accommodating.
- Rama R00Very pleasant experience on a hot afternoon! One of the best things to do when you are in Aswan. Travel the way ancient Egyptians used to :) It's very easy to get on/book a trip. It was part of our private tour in Egypt and we were picked up by a speed boat, from where we were transferred to the felucca for a ride, while our luggage stayed in the speed boat. After the felucca ride was over we were transferred back into the speed boat from where we went in to our tour of the Nubian Village. It's the perfect activity on a hot day. The blue of the Nile shimmers in the afternoon sun and is a treat to watch. Don't forget to tip your sailor!
- 58abdelrhmanm00A wonderful experience to visit EgyptIt was a very interesting trip with our guide, he has a lot of knowledge and a beautiful country. We hope to visit another place and repeat the experience
- Patricia D00A wonderful visit! Magical.Dua is an excellent guide - she is perceptive, professional and engaging. Highly recommend her for any tour.
- Taiva P00AmazingOur visit to Aswan and the Nubian village was by far the best. It was a great experience filled with so much history and we enjoyed learning about the Nubian way of life. Our tour guide Dowa was amazing. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable and the boat driver was very friendly as well. We really appreciate them and helping to make our experience a memorable one.
- JohnNSanDiego00Get your camera ready! This tour is beautiful! My tour was fantastic, from start to finish. Dua took great care to customize the tour, what we saw and ensured we were doing things that were important for me to see. She was incredibly patient as I continued to stop to take pictures, which is great since there are SO MANY photo opportunities in the beautiful and friendly Nubian village and along the Nile.
- 461patriac00Animal welfare concerned.I didn't enjoy the city tour.. maybe it is not what I expected, I feel upset.. kids running around, cars going every direction, honk non stop.. carbon monoxide in the air... I looked at the horses... Skinny tiny body, stressed with all the noises & pollution in this city, this so so chaotic to me... I can't imagine how the horses felt..! As this is part of the tour so I have to go with it. At the end of the journey, which I hope ended sooner, the carriage taker forced us to give tips before dropping us off .. from the animals welfare perspective, this is a cruel trade, I hope this can be replaced by electric carriage immediately...

- Sally_Mackenzie00Excellent private tour for fair priceWe had a fantastic cruise with Show you egypt who arranged for our night train to Luxor prior fo boarding and also our transfer to hurghada after the cruise. We booked a private Egyptologist guide for the trip and we’re very lucky to get a very knowledgeable and kind man called Ahmed. He turned our trip around completely- We didn’t expect Egypt to be too difficult as we have travelled widely including around India and the Middle East but nothing prepared us for the level of harassment and extortion we faced when simply trying to buy drinks or paracetamol (we paid > 4x UK prices when without him!) Ahmed ensured we weren’t hassled and we got about the sites safely and bought our drinks for us at a fair price. More importantly he revealed the magic of Egypt’s past, delving deep into the history and the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. There is very little information at the majority of temples and he taught us everything we could wish to know. Having him to ourselves was so much better than being ferried around in huge groups as we could ask lots of questions and we’re not rushed around the sites. The cruise boat was very comfortable; roomier than expected and food was adequate, quite good some nights. We needed clothes washed and they got them back to us in less than 4 hours. The shower was hot and the beds were comfortable. Overall show you egypt gave us an excellent trip with flexibility and assistance of a private guide (who was brilliant) at a price comparable to a western agent’s group tour. Highly recommend.
- shanderino00Recommended tourwe took a tour to philae temple, Nubian village and felucca ride. Our guide, Dowa is an amazing and very knowledgeable. She is also very helpful and kind. I had some issues with my shoe and she actually helped me to fix it. Very thankful to meet such a great guide. Food at the Nubian Village was amazing too
- 727michk00Recommended!!!It was very free and easy, the nubian village and food is a must try! Dowa, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our relaxing time in Aswan along the Nile...
- Floorsie00It wasn’t the cruise it was the person !The five stars belongs to Mr Ahmed our tour guide who is also a qualified Egyptologist . He brought a wealth of knowledge and experience with him and shared it with such great passion. At each of the sites his insights made ‘made the the walls come alive’ and took us back In time . In addition to this Mr Ahmed ensured that all our excursions went smoothly , by arranging tickets and pick ups to and from the sites ahead of time . Through out the tour he was on hand to assist with any queries and we deeply appreciated the little touches of ensuring we had sufficient water and coffee !
- PPHallam00Exceptional Tour !!!It was an unbelievable experience, I would highly recommend it. Our guide, Ahmed was exceptional and made it extra special. He made a huge difference to our mini tour.
