Totally100% scam!!! dont book this tour!! this tour will stole your money!!!! be careful i never write the review but this tour make me really upset!!!

We Ordered thru Chase Rewards, Fantastic tour in new car with an expert guide and professional driver and we saved about $250 booking our own flight from Cairo and not using a tour company in Cairo to do everything for us, just Uber to the Cairo airport at 4:30am for 7 a.m flight to Luxor. Rep was waiting at Luxor airport at 8am and we used WhatsApp before flight to confirm. Tour was awesome and it was a long day but well worth it. Guide was very friendly and very informative at all the sites. Around 12pm we asked about stopping for lunch and he recommended a nice place for $30 a person but we decided on a $15 place and went. The reason for 2 stars is it was a little shady when we ordered our food the guide said all we pay for are the drinks and the food is free, the company pays it, we were a little confused and maybe since they don't bring clients to the cheaper restaurant they are picking up the bill? At the end of the tour around 4:30pm were dropped at the airport and I tip him and the driver very well ($30 USD) and the guide is watching me while I'm digging through the bills, I hand him the tip and he is very thankful we say goodbye and then as we start to walk away and he says we owe him for the lunch. I look at him and said you said it was free when we ordered it, he says no the company has to pay for it, I wasn't going to argue and I gave him another $30 USD and walked away. I should have said use your tip but it was a great tour and I was tired and I wasn't about to raise my voice in anger on our vacation so what's another $30 but to use a Free lunch tactic pissed me off as we walked into the airport. Great Tour but lack of communication and saying lunch is free and to hit you up at the end was a little slimy in my book, I'm thinking its their tactic to get a great tip, with all my research $15-$25 for a guide and $5-10 for driver is a very good tip for Egypt but for our guide to say something is for free then come back for more at the end is a very poor business practice in my book: the weird thing is the Restaurant Menu prices were listed $5 USD on the menu but tour companies have a set menu price at $15 USD for the same food(another kickback to the tour!) Egypt is all about the hustle and I threw a lot of tip money to everyone in USD, they take all denominations so just expect it. This would have been a 5 STAR review but just wish they were honest about everything! Tell your guide to stop at KFC or anywhere else to avoid their side hustle to inflated menu prices and an uncomfortable farewell to what would of have a perfect day.

From the moment we were picked up in Luxor everything was seamless The drive to Abu Simbel was comfortable and the temples were incredible Our guide Tarek was very attentive and made sure we had a great time The felucca ride in Aswan was a relaxing way to end the day Highly recommend this tour!
