We booked a 2 day tour to Luxor from Cairo with Emo and it was spectacular. our guide Dina made the your enganging and stress free, she was super knowledgeable and friendly. The tour focused on sights and history. It was the highlight of our time in Egypt.

We were with Ahmed Mataro, the absolutely best guide we could have. His great kindness made this very warm day p pleasant and comfortable. He constantly made sure that we were happy and satisfied. He bought us water to make sure that we wouldn't be tricked with the prices. I also must say that he was the first driver that gave me security in this crazy traffic and driving style that they have here. I am so positively surprised by Ahmed, that if we do another tour with this travel company, we would only ask for him again. It is good to find to good, honest and kind people here that don't just see a person to get out from as much euro as possible.

We booked 2 tours with Emo Tours. On the first day we visited the archeological sites in the west bank of the nile in luxor. On the second day we visited the temples of Dendera and Abydoss.  We had different drivers on the 2 days, which were lovely and good drivers for egyptian standards. Ahmed was our guide and he was pleasant enough. However, some of the things he said were in clear contradiction of what we later read about the tour subjects. Those things seemed to have been simply made up by him, perhaps to try to make history sound more appealing. This made us feel cheated, and made it hard to trust him on other things he said. Furthermore, he kept hurrying us to explain what he wanted without giving us any time to grasp the environment of the place. These things made us feel that it might have been better if we had just hired a driver and read about the history online. Additionally, our tour's vouchers were confusing because even though they said that entry admission to the sites were included in the price we paid, we had to purchase tickets on each of the spots.

Very Informative without being too much. A great day out. One of the better tours we have been on. Very flexible and fluid with the tour and fitted well with our needs. Salwa was awesome. Anyone who has her as a guide is very lucky. Everywhere exceeded expectations.

We loved our guide Mousmed Hemeida and our driver Ando Azem, on the tour we did with them on the 24th August 2024 to the Pyramids, Sakkara & Memphis. They were punctual, very friendly and fun!! The guide was very cultured and gave us a lot of useful information about ancient Egypt. The driver was very good also. Lunch was great and delicious. I had an amazing day in Luxor with Silwa. She made it extra special. Since I had a late flight back to Cairo, we got to do and visit extra sites. She made it personal to what I wanted to do what I wanted and then more. Since Silwa was so amazing, I booked more tours with Emo tours on the spot.

The company was extremely easy to use and book the day before. Our guide, Ahmed Kassem, was absolutely amazing. Our driver, Mamoud, was also top knotch. Ahmed was incredibly knowledgeable and also made us feel very comfortable the entire time. He had a good understanding of each location and was able to answer all questions. He also spoke very good English and was a genuinely good person. Would highly recommend booking with this company, especially if you can reserve Ahmed Kassem! 10/10 would recommend.

Our initial booking for a day trip to the West Bank of Luxor was with a different company that we don’t want to name. They supposed to pick us up from hotel at 9am but when nobody showed up after 30 minutes we contacted them by WhatsApp and first were informed that they would pick us up at 10am and then that our trip was actually canceled... (note, we learned after several days that it was actually not their fault but that of our bank back in Australia that blocked our credit card because of some security concerns, therefore making it impossible for the payment for initial booking to be processed) In those unexpected circumstances, we had to act quickly and find some way to save our day and in fact our whole 3 day trip to Luxor... We decided to contact Emo Tours Egypt who organized a great 1 day trip around Pyramids for us few days before, when we stayed in Cairo. We found on TripAdvisor that they actually do the "Private Half Day West Bank Tour to Valley of the Kings Queen Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon"... We started chatting with them via WhatsApp around 9:35am and they kindly agreed to organize that trip for us on the same day! They did manage to assemble for us (in only 1 hour) a great team of a very gentle driver, Carlos, and a very knowledgeable and relatable guide Mostafa Awad. Carlos picked us up from hotel at 10:45am! We visited Valley Of The Kings, with three tombs included in the entry ticket plus tomb of Ramesses V & VI. Then we went to Hatshepsut Temple and as it turned out that we still had some time and energy for further exploration we asked on the spot if we could also add Deir El Medina to our itinerary. Mostafa called someone at Emo Tours and they agreed to do it for us! At the end of this amazing trip we stopped at Colossi of Memnon to take last few pictures. Finally, on the way back to hotel Carlos was kind enough to stop next to a supermarket so we could do a quick shopping. Emo Tours, you are a truly great and professional company, with the highest standard of customer service! When we come to Egypt again we will definitely like you to be our tour operator again! We had and amazing day in Luxor with our guide Salwa! We got to go to so many historical places in one day (because we couldn't spend any longer in Luxor unfortunatelly), and we were filled with great information and historical knowledge from our guide, who ran everything smoothly and also in a great pace, while also giving us time to take pictures and take in all the information! It was an amazing tour and trip overall and I definitely recommend it, and specially with Salwa! 😄❤️

Amazing visit. Shirine our guide and Mahmoud pick us up at our hotel to go visit the temples. They were super nice welcoming. Shirine is super knowledgeable and listening to her is passionating. She answered all our questions with patience and interest. The visits are made in two times, first the visit and then a time to take pictures. Would recommand to do the Karnak temple first if you do it in the morning to avoid the crowd as we did. The crew was really great it was a super experience.

Everything went like clockwork. Could have gone to Abu Simbel first and then Philae Island. We felt a bit rushed because the road would close They ensured we had vegetarian food and there were huge portions Guides were very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English The Luxor lady asked us many times about shopping and we did indulge in some nice perfumed oils Overall a delightful tour if you are short on time

Our guide - Ahmed Kassem, and driver - also Ahmed, made our experience of touring Luxor delightful! We visited all 5 locations of interest and were taught so much about Egyptian history. Ahmed Kassem encouraged us to explore the sites at our own pace, answered all the questions we had, and often advised us on how to get the best experience. In addition to the tour locations, we visited an immersive souvenir shop and a restaurant, which were both surprisingly pricey for Egypt.

Very well organized tour by Emo tours. The guide was good and the driver was kind too. They were on time and whole tour to Karnak temple, Luxor temple and the lunch was amazing. My daughter slept in between so they customized and covered one spot which afterwards. The lunch served was very fresh and local.
