While in the U.S, EmoTours sales agent Zizo worked very closely with me to put together a tailored itinerary for 2 days in Cairo/Giza and 1.5 days including airport transfer in Luxor. I was very nervous about the trip but Zizo reassured me about delivering a top notch experience and Emo Tours did it!
We had a warm welcome pickup from Luxor international airport at 1.20pm by Guide Shereen and driver Mostafa and headed straight to Karnak Temple. It was 100F outside and Shereen was very patient with our group of 9 including kids and senior citizens. Post Karnak tour, she took us for lunch and after that we did Luxor temple before heading to our hotel (booked separately through Expedia).
The next day Shereen and Mostafa picked us up at sharp 8 am and took us first to Queen Hatshepsut Temple. While enroute she stopped to get us Falfal for breakfast. Initially we were nervous to eat from outside but it was one of the best Falafals we had!! It was warm and too yummy.
Then we went to a Alabaster Factory for some shopping which despite negotiation was a hard bargain. We wish we had negotiated further :) Then we went to the Valley of the Kings which was a mind blowing experience watching the paintings and carvings that looked like recently painted although it was several thousand years old.
Since we were in West Bank, she took us to one of the best restaurants which by looks was very average but served one of the best shawarma I ever had during my entire Egypt trip.
Post lunch Shereen took us on a Felucca ride from West Bank to East Bank while Mostafa our driver drove back. This was an awesome experience drifting with the winds.
Finally they dropped us back to the hotel by 4pm.
The next day morning Mostafa was back at the hotel at sharp 6.15 am to drop us back to Luxor airport.
During the trip Shereen brought us lots and lots of water and was very helpful with shopping tips. We highly recommend Shereen and Mostafa for your Luxor trip.

Sam took 3 us on this tour as well as visiting Luxor and Karnak temples and the avenue of the sphinxes in one day. We were packing in a lot because we only had three days in Luxor. His English and understanding are great. He is a really nice, fun man. We spent a little longer at the valley of the Kings than we probably should’ve because we explored 2 extra tombs so he was worried about us having time to do Karnak and Luxor temples so he paid for us to take the boat across instead of having to take the 45 minute ride around and over the bridge with the driver so we could make lunch in time and still have plenty of time for Luxor and Karnak. The driver arrived at the restaurant just as we were finishing! Don’t miss the Avenue of the sphinxes it just opened four months ago and was impressive. If it wouldn’t have taken too long and hadn’t been so hot (even though it was winter), I would’ve been tempted to walk from Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple. We added King Tut’s tomb just to say we’ve been in it and it was OK but unless you just want to say you’ve been in Tut’s tomb, other tombs were much more impressive. We also visited visited the tomb of SETI I. It was the last tomb we did and by that point they were getting fairly crowded with people. I would recommend SETI I because you’re paying an extra fee and it was not crowded at all and was one of the bigger, best preserved tombs. Sam is very knowledgeable and helpful, one of the best guides I have ever enjoyed! If you are in Luxor be sure to request Sam.

An exceptional, guided tour that picked us up direct from the hotel. A driver and the guide, Angie, provided a wonderful experience at the valley of the kings and two other sites. Angie is extraordinarily knowledgeable as well as very direct with her explanations. She is more than willing to answer any questions, provide flexibility for taking photos, and guidance for which items we should look at – particularly at the valley of the kings. I would recommend this tour to anyone based on both the price and the ability to see quite a bit in a reasonably short amount of time. That said, nothing felt rushed.

Booked a private full day tour for exploring fascinating sites of the West Bank of Luxor through Emo Tours Egypt.
Had a great day with Samir (Sam) as my tour guide and Ahmed (Mimo) as my driver. Sam was very knowledgeable and accompanied me to all the sites and patiently explained the history and the highlights of each monument to me. I also appreciated that he gave me enough free time for taking pictures and taking a good look at the sites on my own in quiet each time after he finished his explanations.
Mimo's car was clean and comfortable and his driving style was pleasant and not like some of the aggressive Uber drivers whom I had in Cairo.
All in all, I had a great day with those two :)

I really don’t know where to begin because there’s so much to say but I’ll keep it short. Im not a fan of big groups so I booked this private tour & my expectations exceeded thanks to my guide Sam! Him and Ali (the driver) were very courteous, friendly and most importantly I felt safe the whole time. As a female solo traveler it was much appreciated in addition to any advice they had me for the remainder of my trip. Your guide isn’t allowed to go inside with you so Sam was very thorough & well educated when it came to explaining the history of the tombs/temple. If you choose the entry fees option your ticket includes 3 tombs you can see but King Tut is an extra 300 EGP. The tour is also not rushed & Sam is more than happy to take your pics. If you ask the workers they’ll be expecting a tip so avoid that if you can. Also IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE the workers trying to sell you things. Just keep walking girl, don’t even say anything unless you were interested in buying souvenirs. I had such a great time & ended up booking another tour with him the following day. Thank you Emo tours for everything!

Our tour guide Shereen and driver Bogi were kind, friendly and welcoming. We went first to the Valley of Kings where we saw the three included tombs and paid extra for the tombs of Ramses V and VI. We then went to the Temple of Hatshepsut and finally to the colussi of Memnon. We then had lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Luxor. Shereen was very detailed and carefully explained to us each tomb and what to look out for. I learnt more about ancient Egyptian history on any other day of the trip. The car was comfortable and air conditioned made the whole experience seamless. Thank you to Shereen and Bogi and thank you Emo Tours.

We had a great Luxor tour of East and West Banks with Salwa! She is very knowledgeable and experienced, and we are very impressed by how she told us the stories of each temple and historic site. Ali our driver is also helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Salwa and this tour to anyone who wants to be taken back in time and learn about history of Luxor and the greatness of Egypt. Thank you for making our trip to Luxor, Egypt memorable.

We did two days of tours in Luxor with Ahmed Omar as our tour guide - he was fantastic, very knowledgeable, patient (we took a lot of photos!) and added his own personality to the days we spent with him. He was able to answer all our questions and his passion for the history really came across. We'd readily recommend him as a tour guide and Emo tours for private tours as they are well organised and provide comfortable and efficient transport between points of interest. Thank you also to the drivers during the days!!

Perfection! Ahmed Moustafa is an excellent tour guide - professional, knowledgable, beautiful English, calm, and patient. Our family learned so much from him about Egyptian history and culture. The details of his stories about the pharaohs and their gods will be cherished and remembered by all of us. Thank you!!!

Our family had a wonderful trip in Luxor with Shreen. Luxor is such a beautiful city with breathtaking sites: we went to Karnak temple, Kings Queen Hatshepsut temple, Valley of the Kings, and Colossi of Memnon.
Shreen is very professional (knowledgeable & always give detailed brief on what to do before we step out of the van), very understanding (never rush our slow pace and went out of her way to buy us extra snacks when she realized that we needed some energy recharge), and she is a homegrown Luxor lady who seems to be friends with everyone, so you're in safe hands :D Thanks for the wonderful time, Shreen! :)
Our driver Nobi was also excellent. Very polite, clean car.

The price is per person and it varies according to the number of persons in your group. However, it includes everything - transportation, guide, entry tickets (which are not very cheap for foreigners), and snacks. Great value for what's offered!
