We have been noticed by Viator very late the night before that our transfer has been cancelled by Sure Egypt. We had to be in Luxor the following day to continue our trip in Egypt. Since we had booked this tour in French we opted to take it in English and received a second confirmation from Viator. The driver and the guide never showed up. The phone number to reach the tour operator Sure Egypt given by Viator was not operational. This number has also been verified by a local as not operational. We then got in touch with Viator for almost one hour on the phone. They tried to find a solution for us but were not able. All we got was full of apologies and a refund whitout anything else for a whole day lost. We finaly found by ourselves train tickets to Luxor late in the afternoon. You are on your own when something happen with Sure Egypt and Viator. Usually we have good experiences with Viator anywhere in the world but this time was terrible. Maybe Viator do not control with who they do business or the tour operator Sure Égypt do not care of anything or both of this. We will certainly remember this day for a long time. As I can see Viator is a good intermediary only when things go well since they do not control the tour operators that do business with them.
