It was an amazing experience for us . We took the cruise from Aswan to luxor. We were on board for 4 days and each day was unique. Apart from amazing places we get to visit , highlight of our tour was the good service from cruise staff .
We were lucky to have one of the best guide in Ashraf , who was the best versed Egyptologist with deep knowledge of every monument and fact of Egyptian history .
Out of the four days the actual crushing is only for about 12 hours rest of the time cruise is parked at starting or ending point . Still those 12 hours are worth the experience . We wish if we had more time cruising .
We took extra tour of Abu Simble which was not the part of the cruise . I strongly recommend that it must be part of the tour as you will miss something if you don’t do it .
We spent maximum of the cruising time on the top deck enjoying great view of nile , watching sun rise , enjoying starlit night etc

The cruise and tour was arranged by Ashraf @ Gate 2 Tours. Organisation, pickup and communication were excellent, Having a private guide (Mostafa) and car enabled us to set our own agenda in Aswan and Luxor, when not actually on the cruise, and escape the crowds. We had an excellent last day in Luxor West Bank.
However, there is a systemic problem with the Aswan to Luxor cruise programme which may not be avoidable. For reasons nobody could explain to me (perhaps police/security), about 20 large boats (c.100 passengers each) leave Aswan in a convoy every Wednesday "at the same time". There don't appear to be any other boats available. I think all boats are pretty similar, most are ageing, showing some signs of tiredness, and belch out rather nasty diesel fumes. Nonetheless, our cabin and food were good, and the staff well meaning if a bit obsequious. To my surprise, I even enjoyed the evening entertainment of a traditional whirling dervish and belly dancer.
The convoy results in crowds/delays at each stop including Kom Umbu and Edfu. It took us 2 hours to get through the Esna lock, meaning we were late into Luxor and ended up in the Luxor Temple at a very busy time (early evening). Why they don't stagger the boats through the day/week beats me,

Mostafa was our guide and the entire experience was wonderful. Everything was taken care of. The only reason that i have given a little less rating is because we felt that the cruise ship could be of a better standard. Not too say that the one we were in lacked anything, in fact the crew and the good was awesome. Perhaps this was due to the fact that we booked very late in the peak season. This cruise is really good otherwise and a great experience.

I had an amazing experience in this 4 day 3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor! The ship was in excellent condition, rooms spacious, excellent quality food and service. The private guide Mo and the private vehicles were an added benefit to explore the historic sites. I would highly recommend it to others who wish to explore Egypt ancient sites and history.

This tour lives up to its pronouncement as a "luxury tour". The boat and rooms are simple and comfortable; the food very good and abundant. The attractions are, of course, amazing. Our family of three spent the days in the very capable hands of our Egyptologist guide Ashraf Elbadry, who is knowledgeable, kind, and was solicitous of our needs and wishes at all times. We lived a wonderful dream as we floated down the Nile!

The best part of the cruise was our guide Ashraf from Gate2Egypttours. As a private guide he provided us with daily pickups to all the sites we wanted to see along with excellent knowledge of Egyptian history. He also had a very workable schedule that left us with time to ourselves. Most importantly we felt very comfortable and in good hands with Ashraf as an expert Egyptologist and guide. He never overloaded the schedule or insisted on us doing something we were not interested in. He also answered questions about recent events and culture in Egypt.
Highly recommend Ashraf and Gate2Egypttours.

The 3-nights 4-days cruise tour from Aswan to Luxor were wonderful and successful. The tour guide helped us to get to all the attractions as stated in the tour package. Besides, the tour guide also helped us to go to some optional sites such as Abu Simbel and Alexandria as the day trip. We enjoyed the tour with peace of minds and private tour guides. The tour guides are professional and experienced in the areas. They speak English well and good at communicating with us. We enjoyed all the arrangements and felt satisfactory. Will come back for another trip in the future.

A great experience. Our guide was very intuitive and knew the answers to all our quest. Very interactive and accommodating. Spent time to ensure we got the most out of every day. The cruise ship staff were extremely helpful and polite. Overall couldn’t be happier with our first visit to Egypt and can’t wait to use this tour company again. Thank you!

Very good.
The private tour was good with young children and the hospitality of the cruise staff was also excellent. And above all, our tour guide, Mustafa, was very well and arranged everything according to our requests. We requested an additional trip to Abu Simbel as an option. We enjoyed that even with long drive because of knowledgeable guide, safe driver and comfortable car. Well managed.
Also the company staff respond very quickly.

Emad was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history and tour stops in each location as well as being very helpful to the culture of Egypt and any needs that came during the trip. We loved his hospitality and positively. He ensured we were safe at all times and helped us navigate through the vendors.
