My parents had booked this tour with Egypt Joy Travel and recommended it to my partner and I. From my first interaction with the company I already knew it was going to be a great trip! Our amazing driver Mahmoud picked us up with ease and made us feel very comfortable. We had quite a drive to Luxor but the car was spacious and had aircon so this wasn’t an issue, once we were close to the first stop we picked up our tour guide for the day who was also called Mahmoud he was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable and we immediately knew it was going to be an amazing day! We visited Karnak temple, Clossal Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple as well crossing the Nile on a boat and having a delicious lunch on the Nile! I could not fault one thing about this company, our driver, our tour guide or the day itself, we truly had an unreal experience. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely be booking more trips with this company when we are back in Egypt!

We booked with Hatem, Pyramids and Dolphins. Absolutely amazing, it’s a long day in Cairo seeing the Pyramids and museum, plus more, but 100% worth it. Youssef our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and kind. He did everything we wanted to do and there was no pressure. The driver was amazing in Cairo as it’s crazy traffic. Dolphins absolutely amazing, one of the best experiences. Amazing company, we will be coming back next year and rebooking with Hatem, we felt no pressure and he was very honest and attentive

Absolutely amazing trip, it's a very long day, but so worth it. Youssef the tour guide, is absolutely amazing and knows everything you want to know. Such a friendly person, also the driver. Hatem who booked it all for us, is great, no pressure and just genuine. I would 1000% recommend, we will be coming back and will rebook with them again.

Our guide for Luxor, Mahmoud, was by far the best guide we had for our Egypt adventure. He was very knowledgeable and allowed us time for family photos and snacks. He helped us refine our itinerary based on tombs/temples that were open and he definitely knew which ones were the prettiest. He went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was everything we hoped for, even returning in the evening to take us through the Luxor Museum, great restaurant recommendations, stopping to find us Sobia to try, and never rushing us. Joy Of Egypt was easy and very flexible to work with and arranged extra cars when our Aswan guide could not fulfill his drop off arrangements. I wholeheartedly recommend Joy of Egypt and Mahmoud if you are traveling anywhere in Egypt.

We were picked up in the private SUV exactly at the time agreed. Mahmoud was driving us and ensured we were comfortable before setting off. It a long, but fascinating drive across the Sahara. Mahmoud would point out the Bedouin as we went. As we got closer Mahmoud started explaining about old towns and new towns - he could be a tour guide himself! We soon stopped and picked up our Luxor guide Mahmoud as well! Mahmoud carried on explaining relevant points as we continued our drive to the Valley of the Kings. We stopped to pick up water (all water is supplied on the tour, and this was completed at regular points). We got to the Valley and Mahmoud started his information - he is so knowledgeable, and worked in the valley for a number of years. The gold cart was organised to save the walk to the tombs, the tickets for the tombs were organised. Mahmoud chose the best tombs to see on what was open on the day. He had to do his brief ahead of us going in, as guides aren’t allowed in, this was comprehensive and easy to remember. He waited outside and was there to meet us as we came out. The tombs he selected were amazing and very quiet! In one tomb we were the only people inside so were able to take our time and look at what we wanted. I now have thousands of photo’s! Next we went to Hatshepsut Temple, another great experience of architecture on a different scale. Mahmoud the driver was on point picking us up from the closest location each time back into air conditioned car! Mahmoud the tour guide explained the hieroglyphics at each site, destruction by various Pharos over the years. We then had a lovely lunch by the Nile and a boat ride across the Nile, this was private as well with only us on the boat! The car was waiting on the other side of the river and we drove to Karnak Temple, this is huge! You could spend a day just visiting this one temple! Again Mahmoud explained everything and in as much detail as you wanted or needed. A truely brilliant and magical trip, that only scratched the surface. Top tip - if there are any tombs in any of the Valleys that you want to see this will be accommodated by the guide. I can’t recommend this company highly enough.

We had an amazing day in Luxor with Joy Travel booked via Hatem. The private minibus transport from Hurghada was fast, although local traffic sometimes looks scary, it was completely safe. Our guide, Radi was friendly, very knowledgeable and speaks perfect English. Luxor is beautiful and very rich in culture and history, the boat trip on the Nile, lunch, shopping, all great experiences. The trip turned into an unforgettable memory for us!

I never write reviews but my expectations were so exceeded that I had to show my gratitude for such an incredibly professional service! I was nervous to send a deposit to a company overseas, but my goodness this was the most VIP service I’ve ever received. They send someone to the airport to pick you up and take you through the Visa process as soon as you land, you have a dedicated tour guide and driver that waits for you all day, they think of everything. I have never been so happy with a service and I will never travel to Egypt without this company. Put all your worries aside because they have already taken care of everything. First time ever going to Egypt and i was VERY nervous for the food and safety. Egypt joy made this the best experience you could have . Whatever we needed , they accommodated for us and everything was at a great price . We had a private driver for me and my wife and the best tour guide Youseff who was SO knowledgeable about ancient Egypt as well as modern day Egypt . We were brought to fantastic locations for food . Again i was VERY nervous for Egyptian food but i ended up loving it . We didnt have to worry about ordering as he took care of everything and we loved it all. We felt safe the whole time and that was the most important part about picking them. If/when we ever go back we will 100% be using them . They would even up and close the doors for us every time we used the car. Above and beyond experiance and service . They would always give us options , and we never felt pressured to do any particular activity . This was truly a trip based off of our needs . 10/10

We travelled as a group of friends and enjoyed the Felucca tour from Aswan to Luxor. From the beginning we were very amazed and satisfied about how quiet and comfort the Felucca boat was. It was so peaceful to sail the Nile river like this: 100% recommendable and preferrable compared to a typical and normal cruise. We were only concerned by the insects and mosquitos at night but with the lights off and a bit of repelent we had not even a single bite. As for the next days and the temples visits with our guide Tawfiek Hassan, he was very helpful in every situation (always thinking to make life easier for the members of his group) and has a lot of knowledge of Egypt's history. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic tour of some of the most breathtaking landmarks in Egypt. Our tour guide Tawfiek Hassan possessed a well of knowledge and went over and beyond answering our many questions around the ancient history of the area and temples. Highly recommend to book this type of tour with a vehicle, as it makes seeing the multiple scattered sites a more hassle free experience.

I was in contact prior to our visit in Hurghada with this travel company. Was travelling with a teenager and wanted to do quad biking and a boat trip to see Dolphins. The staff helped plan everything and when we landed in Hurghada we were met by our friendly driver with whom we had booked a private transfer through this company. We had initial booked quad biking and dolphins on a big boat. I wanted to be sure my daughter would have her own quad bike as may operators say yes but when you get there you have to double on one. We met a lovely couple staying in our hotel and over a drink and discussions we teamed up to do a private speedboat to see the dolphins and snorkelling. They joined us for the quad biking. We contacted hatem via what’s up and he arranged that we do a private quad bike tour for the 4 of us and the private speedboat Both trips were fantastic and everything went as promised and planned I would highly recommend them to help you plan any trip in Egypt.
