About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Climber200713093590 contributionsTop notch 5-star experience, Best of 20+ Tour Companies We ContactedTop notch 5-star experience and one of the best tour guides. We contacted 20+ tour companies and Mohammad was the *best without any doubt* and he was above & beyond from initial contact. Mohammad has army of tour managers and best guide. They knows ins and outs and takes you to best spots. We had a 4 day/3 nights nile cruise that includes Abu Simbel, Aswan, Ballon Ride, Luxor, Tutenkhamen and he never compromised on anything. The cruise Le Fayan was best. I can't tell you more about how much he cares about best experience than cutting corners and price. This is the *best tour company* you can trust. **Thank you Mohammad for everything*Written January 5, 2025
- 440kallew0 contributionsBook this experience now!Everything was incredibly smooth and we had a great time! The guides were excellent, very knowledgeable, there was no unnecessary waiting and we got to experience more than we expected. Mohamed was always available and answered very quickly if we had any questions. Highly recommended!Written January 4, 2025
- B6069PIkarent0 contributionsBest trip everOur cruise from Aswan to Luxorxwas the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Kero, was knowledgeable, fun, and made our trip memorable. His patience and kindness as well as his love for Egypt was evident in every experience during our trip. If we ever return to Egypt, we want Kero to be part of our adventure again.Written January 2, 2025
- karenbX2504IL0 contributionsAmazing Adventures in EgyptWe had the best tour guide in Egypt - Ahmed Gomaa. He shared so much amazing Egyptian history with us, knew all the extra interesting extra things to show us. We always felt 100% safe with him and his team, plus he helped navigate the local customs.Written January 2, 2025
- J4842HJadamd0 contributionsExcellent Private Egypt Tour!We were amazed at the high-quality experience with Unlimited Egypt at a very reasonable price. They arranged everything, added on extra adventures last minute when we said we were interested in something, and every staff worker was very kind. They use only highly reputable drivers, guides, and airport transfer staff. Our private tour was also truly private: private airport transfer staff who greet you and help with check in, expert guides (Dalia and Ahmed) who are with you for multiple days throughout the whole day - more than just the sites, and drivers who are with only you all day. In Egypt, tour guides go to 4 years of university to become trained, so they are very knowledgeable about everything. Mohammed is the manager and was available anytime we needed to message him! The sites are beautiful, and they arranged for us to see all of the famous ones. There are very early mornings, but it helped reduce the crowd size. Tips are not included, and it’s culturally appropriate to tip anyone who provides you a service, so make sure to get to an ATM when you arrive or bring Egyptian cash from your home country. They do accept US dollars almost everywhere though!Written January 2, 2025
- saracG8378IK0 contributionsA fantastic trip with the best in travel! What an amazing trip! Thanks to Mo and his team. We received the best of everything. From wonderful lunches and dinners in beautiful surroundings, to the best rooms in the hotels overlooking the pyramids. We needed for nothing. Mo was very friendly, wanting us all to have a good time – and indeed we did! Would highly recommend and would definitely book with him again. Thank you!Written January 2, 2025
- hannahgU9219RZ0 contributionsTrip of a lifetime!I cannot recommend going to Egypt highly enough, and specifically this cruise! We paid a bit extra for a private guide and that was VERY worth it. Our guide, Sayed, was knowledgeable, funny, and knew just about everyone anywhere we went. If you can request him as your guide, I’d highly recommend. The boat we were on, Le Fayan II, was basically a 5 star hotel that just happened to be on a boat. We went past some other boats on the Nile that were…less nice looking. I’m not sure how to avoid those. The staff on our boat were all lovely and friendly, very welcoming. IMPORTANT NOTE: every day on the cruise there are very early morning excursions. 3:30 am wake up for Abu Simbel, 5 am wake up for another temple, and 4 am wake up for the hot air balloon ride in Luxor. These are all optional, but I cannot stress highly enough: they are so worth it. Force yourself out of bed no matter how tired you are, especially for the hot air balloon morning!Written January 2, 2025
- Zana A0 contributionsA Magnificent AdventureThis was our second visit to Egypt, but our first experience with a Nile cruise. It certainly won’t be our last—there will be many more Nile adventures for us in the future. Egypt and Its People – 5/5 Stars If you’ve never been to Egypt but are considering a trip, don’t hesitate! Egypt is a land of adventure, history, and wonder, where you feel the presence of the gods in this extraordinary corner of Africa. They say Egypt is the “Mother of the World,” and when you visit, you’ll understand why. A trip to Egypt offers everything you could hope for in a memorable journey: rich history, breathtaking landscapes, delicious cuisine, and unparalleled hospitality. We found Egyptians to be among the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. Our love for the country brought us back the same year—after spending Easter in Sharm El-Sheikh with a day trip to Cairo, we returned at Christmas to explore Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, and Cairo. We’re already planning another trip to uncover more of this magical and mysterious country. Next time, we’ll experience the Nile cruise in a different way as well. Our Guide Mustafa – 5/5 Stars! Our private guide, Mustafa, accompanied us for five unforgettable days. He is a kind, polite, and generous man who ensured everything ran smoothly, from our pickup in Luxor to our final hours in Aswan. Mustafa’s knowledge of ancient Egyptian history, gods, and myths was remarkable. His passion and motivation made every moment special, and we felt well cared for throughout. We highly recommend him and hope to meet him again in the future for another personalized journey. Cruise Boat: M/S Nile Carnival – 3/5 Stars If this review were based solely on the crew, the M/S Nile Carnival would earn 5/5 stars without question. The staff was always smiling, helpful, and exceptionally service-minded. However, other aspects of the cruise—particularly given the high price we paid—left us underwhelmed. Upon boarding, we were confused, as we initially believed our cruise boat would be another vessel entirely. The main photo on Tripadvisor featured the Sonesta Moon Goddess, which has balconies and higher-quality amenities, as shown in YouTube videos we had watched prior to booking. Unfortunately, the name of the actual cruise boat was not disclosed during our communication with the agency. To avoid confusion, I recommend confirming the name of the cruise boat with your agency in advance. The M/S Nile Carnival itself was decent but dated. The cabins and communal areas could benefit from renovations. Food & Drink: The food was of good quality, but the selection could have been better, especially considering the package price (included private guide): • $1,000 USD per person • An additional $150 USD per person for the Christmas season • A mandatory $5 USD per person per night tipping fee for the crew Water, coffee, tea, and other beverages are not included, even during meals. Only breakfast offers complimentary coffee and tea. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was a major disappointment. Not only was it not included in the package price, but the quality was extremely poor, even in the reception and lounge areas. It was completely unavailable in our cabin. This was surprising and frustrating given the premium price we paid. Tipping Culture: Be prepared to tip frequently. While tips are customary, we found it overwhelming at times. Even when booking pre-paid packages, transportation, or excursions, tips were still expected—and sometimes directly requested. Final Thoughts Our Nile cruise was an incredible experience overall, despite some frustrations with the boat itself. Our private guide Mustafa was amazing. The kindness of the crew, the breathtaking scenery, and the historical sites made it worthwhile. However, next time, we’ll do more thorough research on cruise boats to ensure a better fit for our expectations.Written December 30, 2024
- Cruiser7086070 contributionsExcellent Tour Guide for 8 Day tour of Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor, AswanNov. 2024 - My husband and I just returned from the most wonderful tour of Egypt, which included Cairo, a flight to Aswan, a Nile River Cruise to Luxor, and a flight back to Cairo. In between, we rode a camel at the pyramids in Giza, and took a hot air balloon ride in Luxor. None of it could have been done on our own. We had the most amazing tour guide. His name is Mustafa Saad, and by the end of the trip, I felt like we were family. He has a degree in Egyptian History, and all the necessary certificates and background to be a superior tour guide. I know he works with Ramasside tours, which is the tour company we booked with, but I think he also works with other tour companies. He went above and beyond and found my cell phone which I lost miles and miles away, and then he went to retrieve it!! Ask for Mustafa and you'll have a wonderful time and create lasting memories.Written December 28, 2024
- 763bensonb0 contributionsOverall good experience with amazing tour guideEveryone we met (staff on the cruise, the porters, drivers, etc) were all sincerely doing their best to accommodate our needs. While the ship was a bit older, the facilities were all decent and coordination flawless. A special shout out to our private tour guide, Mahmoud, who was incredible in his knowledge of Egyptian history, culture, and seamless communication and organization throughout our entire trip, which made a huge difference in our experience. He gave us advice on tipping etiquette in every situation so we know what is expected by the service provider. He was flexible in trying to make our trip more comfortable based on our arrival and departure schedule. Comparing to other tour guides we had in Cairo for the later part of the trip, who all tried to rip us off and skipped sights in order to take us to expensive souvenir shops where they get commissions, Mahmoud was by far the best-highly recommended and we would certainly be looking him up if we come back to Egypt-we told him that he is the god of tour guides :)Written December 26, 2024
- LoveTravel7865730 contributionsTrip to remember for a lifetimeStunning experience, absolutely exceeded all of my expectations. Highly recommend to any person on a spiritual ascension journey. - SJT_HB0 contributionsMagical Experience with Egypt Unlimited Tours! The BEST!I visited Egypt for the first time on a spiritual retreat with the renowned Spiritual Alchemist, Neelam Sareen. With her high standards for an exemplary guest experience, I know why she selected Mo and Egypt Unlimited Tours. This felt like such a magical, private and customized tour, I was actually surprised to read reviews sharing that others got to do these amazing things also!! It truly felt like extended family showing us the best of their country. From the amazing pyramids and temples, to having the great fortune to be able to visit Cairo’s Grand Egyptian Museum on its second week of opening. The private meditation/transmission inside the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid was life changing. The hotel accommodations throughout were truly first class with gorgeous and plentiful dining experiences. The Nile River Cruise was so very special – relaxing on the sun deck watching the scenery go by, a fascinating experience going through locks, having vendors throw tablecloths up three stories onto the top deck of the boat (hilarious)! The hot air balloon ride at sunset over the Nile was beyond magical … and so worth getting up early! Most appreciated were the very authentic experiences of a family lunch on a felucca sailing around Kitchener’s Island, a caravan camel ride across the desert to 9 Pyramids Lounge (yummy fish lunch!) overlooking The Great Pyramid of Giza, visiting a home (complete with crocodiles) in the Nubian Village. Not having any knowledge of Egypt I was blown away by this glorious and fascinating land and history. Beyond the excellent service provided, we found the people so warm and friendly and wanting to truly connect with us. No other place in the world has mysteries continuing to be revealed like this country. This trip is a must do and using Egypt Unlimited Tours will ensure a mind-blowing experience. Thank you, Mo, and our amazing Egyptologist, Hares, for these incredible memories!!Written December 21, 2024

- maryrS560NS0 contributionsEgypt! An unforgettable experience.....This is our first time visiting Egypt. Right from the arrival at the airport, the whole tour, and to the departure at the end, we had 5-star service. I felt secure and safe at all times. We have had the most unforgettable experience with Mo. Everything is planned with unconditional love and care. Mo is the most detailed-oriented person I have ever met, he orchestrated everything with harmony in his high standard and professional way, our group was truly pampered under his magic. We have the best experience of accommodation, cruise and site visits. The hot air balloon ride is another highlight of this tour. I will come back again, with only Mo's team and nobody else!! Thank you Mo (and your team), from the bottom of our hearts, for making this trip a lifetime memory. 🙏🙏🙏Written December 19, 2024
- 785tomaszb0 contributionsPerfectly organizedWe took 4-Day Nile Cruise with Egypt Unlimited and it was amazing experience. The whole trip was extremely well organised and handled. Adjustments based on our requirements were always addressed and before starting trip w e got all answers and preparations handled via quick whatsapp messeges. During tours themselves, Ahmed Salama was guiding us. He was extremely well organised, always there where we needed him to be and explaining history of Egypt in charming and interesting way. He adjusted every time we needed more time in the temple or wanted to sweep through some of the sites faster to save time. He also helped us avoiding crowds and also shared created interesting story narration for all the sites so we can learn about ancient culture of Egypt. We could see and experience all we wanted. Thank you!Written December 16, 2024

Hi,
Do you have a tour that has these 3 plus Elaphantine Island? How far is Elaphantine Island from these places?
Written September 20, 2018
Hi. I just want to ask regarding the "3 to 4 hours" duration. Does that include the travel time of the transfers and the pick up and drop off the hotel as well? Also, is there any breakdown on how long we'll be staying on each sight? Thanks!
Written August 24, 2018
Hi Paul, you will spend around two hours at philae temple, 45 minuets at the Unfinished Obelisk and 30 minuets at the high dam of Aswan. and for your info the travel time around the sights in Aswan maximum 40 minutes.
Thanks,
