We went on a private tour to Abu Simbel today and I’m so glad we did this tour, we had a brilliant day. Firstly Abu Simbel is worth the journey from Aswan. What an amazing site it is. Our guide Magdy and our driving made the journey very comfortable with rest stops and snacks. Our guide Magdy was very knowledgeable, proving lots of interesting information about the area of Aswan and its history during the drive. Magdys knowledge of Abu Simbel, the history of Aswan and ancient Egypt was very impressive. Thanks for a great trip!

We did a day trip with Emo Tours ans Samir Gaber. I can't recommend both highly enough. Samir was fantastic: incredibly knowledgeable and lovely to spend the day with. We flew into Aswan early in the morning and did Aswan, Philae Island, Abu Simbel, then came back to Philae Island for the light and sound show. My only wish is that was stayed longer to see more of Aswan and explore the Nubian culture of the area. That gives us a good reason to come back!

Samir Gaber was a very good guide. He was very knowledgeable and one of the kindest guides we had. He knows a lot about the history and does a great job connecting with people.

We felt it was not worth the price we paid. The trip advisor page says that this is a private guided tour. But only a car was private. There was no private guide for us. We met a guide just in front of each spot. It means guides changed at every sightseeing spot. Sometimes we had to take a guide with other people. And their explanations were not that good or kind. Moreover, the car driver was also not good. He didn't understand English at all and lost the way to Luxor. Finally, I had to show Google Maps on my phone. Can you believe it? I had thought the price of this tour was a bit expensive and had expected a much better one than it really was.

My family and I went on a tour to abu simbel, and it truly was a remarkable experience. The entire experience was even more elevated with the help of our guide. We went on a one day tour to abu single and the journey from Aswan airport to Abu simbel was Arnd 3 hrs. Our tour guide used this time to educate us abt the historical context of the temples at Abu simbel instead of telling us abt the place there and then itself. This helped save A LOT OF TIME and also ensured us to experience and finish the temples before the crowd came. Moreover, my family and I completed Abu simbel relatively fast and still had about 6 hrs left b4 our return flight to Cairo. Our tour guide recommended going to the Nubian village in Aswan so as to make up for the teaming time and make it worthwhile. My oh my, this was an amazing experience as well, not only did we managed to make up for time, but we managed to see more things and also get some nifty souvenirs. In summary my family and I had an amazing time and I recommend others to book with Emo. The name of our tour guide is Samir Gaber, very nice man

We liked Samir Gaber so much that we requested him for our Nubian village tour. You could not ask for a better guide and we would use them again if we have a chance. He was very attentive to our physical needs and we learned a lot from him about the area and the village.

We have Mr. Samir as our private tour guide to Abu Simble Temple, he did an excellent job explaining the history of the temple and the meaning of each event on the walls before we went inside the temple. The trip is a long drive from Aswan (3.5 hours) each way but it is worth it. The location of the temple with the lake view is astonishing. Mr. Samir has explained and kept us informed before, during and after visiting the Temple. My wife had a broken foot so Mr. Samir arranged for a wheelchair so she can enjoy visiting the site and the Temple. He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring.
