So all ladies here native to Southern California.
Emo tours set up our whole trip to the south of Egypt so if you are looking into customizing your experience look no further

Maggie was our tour guide and our drivers Ahmad Aharif and Mohammed.
We had a wonderful time Discovering the Philae Temple, Nubian Village on day #1 and On day #2 we went to Abu Simbel
Maggie was absolutely phenomenal and made accommodations for us with timing & recommendations etc to avoid the crowds.
The drivers and guide were always punctual and safe. Maggie has alot of knowledge and shared many historical facts as well as legends which my sisters and i thoroughly enjoyed. Every second of our trip was perfect with them! Highly highly recommend! You will not regret choosing Emo Tours
This is the only company i would recommend to my family and friends

We spent 2 days in Aswan. The first day we visited the Oblisk, High Dam and Philae Temple. We were met by our tour guide, Samir, at the hotel port and he explained each site with great detail. He showed us pictures of the temple and the history of how the temple was moved while in the car as it was very hot outside. This was thoughtful and much appreciated. We also visited the lotus flower which wasn't visited by many tourists and took great photos.
The next day we went to Abu Simbel and he showed us the pictures and maps of the Temples as guides aren't allowed in the temple. He was very nice and accomodating to our needs and also brought us some snacks to the take to the airport!
Both drivers (Yousef and Mohamed) were wonderful. The lunch provided was yummy and the portions quite big so we ended up sharing the sides. The staff at both restaurant were so nice and gave out free tea and ice cream as a sign of hospitality.
We stayed at Pyramisa Isis Island Hotel and this was the best hotel of our whole trip! The resort is spacious, the rooms clean, lovely view of the Nile. They have a free boat ride to the main island!
The next day we went to Abu Simbel and he showed us the pictures and maps of the Temples as guides aren't allowed in the temple. He was very nice and accomodating to our needs and also brought us some snacks to the take to the airport!

Nermien was our tour guide today and she was utterly fantastic and we loved spending a day with her. She was friendly, knowledgeable and took us through all the attractions at a steady pace and she let us ask a lot of questions which was great. Her knowledge is extensive and we came away feeling like we had learnt a lot but not been overwhelmed.
The review is getting 5 stars simply because Nermien was so fantastic. The operational side of the company still needs some improvement (we will be sending an email) as we did not receive a message with the guides name or number nor a pick up point from the company before today. If you choose to use this company just be aware if you stay on Elephantine Island it is your responsibility to get to the city side as that is the only place they pick up from.

The experience provided, or I should say unprovided, by this company has been awful! On our day trip to Luxor our day started out with the incorrect pickup time. We were not notified. Then after providing proof our tour was to include entrance fees, we were forced to purchase them (again) at each site. We were then told each of these sites laid out by Emo were the "optional" fees. Why would we fly to a day tour and drive around in a car taking pictures of the entrances that were not included. RIDICULOUS! We had to stop at an ATM to withdraw more funds because of poor advertising.
This day trip to Aswan, after having a horrible experience with the Emo company (not the tour guide) we requested the day before our trip for an itinerary and additional fees we could expect. We received NOTHING. We waited at our designated pick-up time and on our way to the airport were told our flight time changed and it would be another 5 hours. Who in their right mind would find this acceptable? To wait nearly the entire morning in the airport to then drive 3 hours after landing to only have a short window of time for the tour, to then jump back in the car for another 3 hour drive. Absolutely obsurd. Had we received the requested information when asked a full day before we may not have been so irate. When attempting to contact Emo our messages went unanswered until after we adamantly requested to be returned to the hotel and canceled our tour. Even then Emo could not take responsibility for not providing the information we requested and placed all the blame on the airline. Tour companies are hired to be our liaison and they failed at every turn.

Niermen was waiting to pick us up even though we were 10 minutes early because we had to catch a ferry and weren’t sure how long it would take us. She was very helpful and did a great job of showing us the unfinished obelisk, the temple of Philae, and the Nubian Museum. We were not interested in the dam so we switched that out for the Nubian Museum and scheduled that in advance and Emo was willing to be flexible and work with us. Niermen was kind enough to take us to two shops when we told her we were interested in getting our names on cartouches and some spices. We were catching a boat for a Nile Cruise to Luxor and had not heard back about specific details other than the name of the boat. She called the boat and gave them our names and got the details for us and she and our driver delivered us directly to the boat after our tour and made sure we got on safely. She went way above and beyond what was expected and could not have been more kind helpful and useful. I have had many tour guides over the years and I think she was the most concerned and helpful that I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Emo Tours and Niermen!

This was an excellent tour with a great tour guide (Makbola). The highlight was Philae temple and the tour guide went out of her way to be sure our own privately booked sound and light show ticket was honoured and arranged for her and the boat to take us to the island. I could not ask for more and give her 10 stars!

I used Emo tours for both Aswan and Luxor. Ebtesam(Basma) was my tour guide in Aswan and was an absolute delight. My flight into Aswan from Cairo was delayed, she waited patiently, ensured there were adequate refreshments and did a great job explaining to me about how the High Dam, and Lake Nasser came about. We took the boat ride to visit the Philae temple, followed by a drive to Abu Simbel and then back to my hotel in Aswan. She is well versed in Egyptology and pointed out to me the nuances in the carvings of Ramses II, explained the symbolism and the influence of the coptics. All in all I would highly recommend Ebtesam and Emo tours.

We booked a special tour for only Philae Temple and wanted Emat because we were so happy with him the day before. Sadly this time he really disappointed us. It started out great, he and the driver were on time and we began the ride to the marina of the temple. Emat even lent us some pounds because we ran out of money. When we arrived Emat started to rush us through the site and even left out a few rooms/walls. He always checked his watch if like he had another appointment after us. Most explanations where still good but some short and rushed. When we got back to the car the driver was speeding us to the train station. But what surprised us the most and even made us a little sad was when I gave Emat a tip, which he obviously felt was too low (still 5% eventhough his rushed attitude was not worth it), he looked at it and almost did not even say thank you. After that he did not say good bye or shook our hand. I really feel that such a behaviour is not ok, especially because he was such a nice guy the day before. After that I would say everything he said was crap in order to get more money :-(

Following an Emo Tours tour in Luxor, I used them again in Aswan. Once again, they did not disappoint! Nermien was my guide and she was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the sites. She answered all of my questions and let me see the sites at my own pace. I would highly recommend Emo Tours for all of your sightseeing plans in Egypt.

My friend and I from the UK were constantly told that we should check out Aswan during our stay here in Egypt...so we travelled from Luxor to Aswan with our tour guide Kero who was an amazing guide! He was punctual and prompt and our driver was fantastic go and back. We had an amazing time learning about the High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk as well as Philae Temple. Kero was extremely accommodating and gave us amazing insight into the history. We then opted for the extra tour of the Nubian village which was an amazing and beautiful experience! The locals were super friendly and welcoming!
I couldn't recommend this tour more! Its a must visit for anyone who comes to Egypt!
