Ahmed was our very cheerful & friendly guide who was ever so patient with our large group and also very knowledgeable on the history and all the artefacts on display both at the pyramids and also at the museums. Learnt a lot from his commentary and also had some great pictures and picture spots pointed out to us by Ahmed for the gram ;) Ahmed was also very accomodating to our group’s request to venture slightly off the beaten track to dine at a local eatery rather than a more upmarket one. We really enjoyed the local feel of the different places we chose for lunch on the 2 consecutive days and I think this made my trip! Would definitely highly recommend Ahmed to anyone as a tour guide. I had more than enough time to explore all 4 sites. The highlight for me was going into the Red Piramid at Dahshur to visit the burial chamber. In spite of a late start (due to 2 hour delay of my overnight train) Kamal and his driver we unfazed and I was able to complete the full tour! Kamal is also a great 'jumping pic' photographer - yet another reason to ask for him.Written March 17, 2022

He was a very informative guide, very personable and answered all questions well ( we were a very inquisitive group). In fact, if he didn't know the answer off hand, he researched it and got us an answer in no time. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was FANTASTIC!
