Ahmed is a very knowledgeable guide, he is very kind and explained everything during the trip, even in the way to the site. Ahmed picked us up in the hotel, he arrived early and wait for us to be ready for the day tour. He took pictures for us and patiently answered our questions. Before we start the trip, we requested not to visit factories, and he did skip this unnecessary sites for us. When he found that we are trying to send the postcards, he brought us to the post office and helped us out. Ahmed is not only a nice guide, he is also a very kind Egyptian we have met since we arrived in Egypt.

It was such a great trip, you cover most of the improvement pyramids in and near Cairo and have a basic understanding of different kind of pyramids. The guide was exceptionally good, he made sure we see and know about important things. The trip was private, so we did at our own pace. It was. A great and must do experience.

Tour started with picking up from hotel. Our tour guide Emad was really kind. He was not only guiding us but he was teaching us out Egyptian history. Emad is a really wonderful teacher.Transformation from places was fast and comfortable. They provided us cold water everywhere. Emad informed us about the choices we can make about the route of the tour and for us it was really helpful. So we did not spend too much time and energy with the tour routes that we are not interested. And the tour finished with dropping us to the hotel.

We had a great time with our guide Emad and our driver Ahmad. They picked us up on time and took us to the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. It was actually a good idea to start with the Giza Pyramids and avoid the late morning and afternoon heat. Emad was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He gave us very honest advice on what was worth visiting and what wasn't. He also knew the best spots for pictures. The tickets to the attractions are sold at the entrance and paid for by card only. The tour included a stop in a perfume/essential oils and papyrus shop but Emad told us there was no pressure to buy anything. At the end of the tour, we were taken to a restaurant in the countryside with typical Egyptian food. We were served a set menu with starters, bread, dips and mixed grill with rice which was very tasty. Overall, we had a great day and we've learned a lot about Egyptian culture. Thank you Emad and Ahmad!

Overall it was a nice cruise! The food was good and the selection was fine. There was also dessert which was very good. We had entertainment the entire time which was nice and engaging. You had the opportunity to go above deck and enjoy the view of the shoreline. Why I gave it a 4/5 was the service could have been better. I don’t think they had enough people waiting on the guests to bring them their drinks. We were one of the first to arrive and we had to wait a while for anyone to come and get our drink order. Otherwise, from hotel pickup to drop off everything was great!

Emad our tour guide was in front of our hotel even before we came. He stopped us in everywhere that we can have great pictures as family and did not let us disturbed by the sellers. It was a good experience to listen from him all details about pyramids and the great sphinx!

My experience visiting the Coptic and Islamic Cairo with Mohamed was refreshing and eye opening. Mohamed was knowledgeable but thru the tour, was emphatic that in Egypt there is no difference between Muslims and Christians. A refreshing view given what is happening in the region. Highly recommend this trip with Mohamed and Hassan as our wonderful driver!
