The tour contacted me the a few days before the tour. And also a day before, to set up the rendezvous time and point.
We met on time at my hotel lobby at Intercontinental Cairo, on time early in the morning. The museum was within a walking distance from my hotel. However since the package already includes the private air conditioned transport, we went with the car, which took a little bit longer than walk, because of traffic rules. Nevertheless the car used was very comfortable and truly private.
The tour guide, Nasser, a very knowledgeable tour guide at the museum , knows many detailed information regarding the artifacts and museum displays. Moreover he knows how to keep the pace of the tour. I ended up visited all major sections I wanted, and with substantial others that I found very interesting.
Since I still have another 5 hours, and the tour was very satisfactory, I ask for another tour after lunch, which was the old city and mosques. It was also very good and satisfactory.
All in all, I think the tour had been a very good bang for the bucks. Very recommended.

Shirene is a wonderful guide. She is very knowledgeable and personable. She made us feel like family. In addition to the museum, she took us to several special side places and also had us enjoy a true Egyptian meal.
Our driver, Abdullah Rashid Al Samna was also wonderful. He also took us to the light show at the Pyramids in Gaza.
The fresh mango juice is to die for!

This was a last minute private tour for us. Let me just say this was a great decision and we had the best time with our tour guide (Nasser) 😃😁. We had an awesome experience!! We learned a lot as Nasser took us through the museum he filled us up with his Egyptian knowledge. We were just amazed at all the history! Nasser catered to our specific needs asking what things we were looking for and then taking us to the places where we could get quality items and authentic things made in Egypt. To my surprise Nasser even looked after us and made sure we didn’t get taken advantage of. We highly recommend Nasser for any of your tour needs, we plan on coming back to the area and we will be asking for Nasser to be our personal tour guide again. Thank you Nasser for the wonderful experience today in Egypt. 😃😄

Please advise why the price listed at the top of this site is $38 per adult but when I tried to find out about availability for 1 adult on October 28, the price that popped up was $63. I may still be interested but it looks like false advertising to list $38 and then have a different rate. Thank you.
