- hasann4660 contributionsNot greatI think this should just be Quad biking, the camel ride was one minute, took us around in a circle. Also when we were about to do the Quad biking, it said scarfs included yet we had to pay extra for the scarfs, not organised, false advertising.Written January 16, 2025

- Inspiration8086880 contributionsAwesome 3 days Siwa tourThis was an amazing tour and we had a great experience. The salt lakes were beautiful and the safari was a lot of fun. The tour guide (Magidy) was very friendly. The young driver took good care of us even though he doesn’t speak English. The CEO even lended his coat to me after floating in the cold salt lakes. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.Written December 31, 2024

He showed us all the highlights of Siwa during the 2 days that we were there. Nothing felt rushed and everything that he told us was interesting. He even gave us a gift at the end of our weekend. All in all, he took amazing care of us, and I would for sure recommend this to everyone!Written November 11, 2024

- 602jpm0 contributionsBeyond all our expectations ! 😍 - An experience we will never forget 🤩We only had 5 days to visit Egypt, and Touritos help us so much to enjoy the best of this amazing country! Our guide, Gamal, was super responsive with our demand (we wanted to do a bit more that what the tour was proposing). He organized for us the best tour we could have expected (Day 1 = an authentic underground cave, an amazing moment in the Saharian Desert dunes, a night in an Oasis lost in the middle of the desert Day 2 = a walking trip in a canyon of the Black Desert, a magic moment in a natural spa in the middle of nowhere, a lunch in a local farm, the discovery of the White Desert with its amazing canyon view and the white "mushrooms" of chalk rocks, the visit of Crystal Mountain, sandbording in a crazy dune of the desert and last but not least (the show climax) ...a traditional diner and a night in the middle of the desert in a tent ! 😍😍😍) Unforgettable magical moments with an unforgettable guide! Gamal is probably the nicest guy of the country: we shared so much together and made a true friend who is more than welcome in our house in France ❤️❤️❤️ Our trip would have never been the same without him and without Touritos. After the experience, when we were back in Cairo, Gamal gave us the best advices to enjoy the city and even called one of his colleague (Mohamed a.k.a. "Mojito") to help us do all the pyramids of Giza, Dahchour and Saqqarah + some extras (traditional boat diner on the Nile, Khân al-Khalili by night - the Cairo souk/bazaar, and the different markets of perfumes, spices, papyrus and carpets) in only 1 day (which is an exploit in only 14 hours! 😎). Once again, our guide from Touritos, Mohamed, was such a nice guy and we had amazing and unforgettable moments together ❤️❤️ If you want to be sure to have the best possible experience in Egypt, don't hesitate to call Touritos, they will go beyond your expectations!Written October 21, 2024

- Venture429870734130 contributionsAwesome Desert AdventureAmazing trip. I cannot put this into words. Mr. Amir is warm, compassionate, loves Egypt and makes you feel like you made the right choice to chose this trip. He brought us fresh baked bread to start the trip and communicated through out when needed. The gentlemen at the oasis resort gave a warm greeting, his staff provided a warm meal and great hospitality. The tour guide was Qamar/Badar. Trust me you cannot be in better hands. He has fantastic driving skills, made the trip fun, taught me to sandsurf, and I went down the first time like a pro! He also can cook exceptionally well. I am a foodie and everything was fresh, organic and good quality. Unfortunately in spite of this wonderful experience, I have to take a point off for two reasons. This in no way is a reflection on Mr. Amir, the host at the oasis, or Qamar/Badar. It was the driver who took us to the desert resort and brought us back. He did not smile nor did he have a welcoming presence. We all tried to get him to loosen up a bit and make small talk. He had no interest in that and the journey was long. He also was very directive when it came to breaks. We told him the women’s restroom was out at one of the locations. While that was not his fault, he was nonchalant. He helped me get a cab back to Zamalek. When I asked him if he confirmed that the driver knew how to get there he did not. The cab driver told me he did not know the place. We had to stop three times for directions. So that’s why I had to take a point off. Note: if you are coming from Zamalek, work with Mr. Amir on the return transportation. Otherwise I recommend.Written September 11, 2024

My guide Yossef arrived to pick me up from the hotel on time, his driving was impeccable regardless all the chaos on roads in Cairo, I felt as safe as one can be while commuting in Egypt. You get to see the other side of Egypt on the journey to Wadi El Rayan, the farming communities, people transporting all sorts of things on donkeys, villages with people just sitting around and socialising by the side of the road. The contract of luxury hotels and modern buildings in Cairo vs the rubbish and building materials scattered all over the place. I was overwhelmed with the sights even before we arrived at the destination. I was hoping that the tour is going to be shared with other tourists as I was travelling on my own that day, but looks like they had no other bookings on this occasion. But Yossef and the 4*4 driver Salih (I hope I memorised his name correctly) were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease. The Wadi El Rayan is beautiful and I am very glad I made the effort to see it. The Magic lake is very special (I wish I had taken my swimming gear with me), I did’t expect the water to be this clear! Dune bashing was a lot of fun (I am sooo impressed with Salish’s driving skills) as was the sand boarding experience (even though I didn’t do so well as I was worried about sustaining an injury at the beginning of my holiday). I would recommend this trip and would be even tempted to do it again if I happen to be in the area. A few things I would like to mention to people considering booking this trip: I was informed that my hotel was “was outside their area” even though it’s right next to Cairo airport (I suspect if your hotel isn’t on their list that means that you are going to be subjected to additional charges), I been charged additional 20 USD. At Bedouin camp there were a lot of flies, which made the meal time not so enjoyable (grab an insect repellent, hopefully it’s going to help), there are no changing facilities next to the magic lake, so if you want to have a swim it might be worth putting your swim gear on during the stop at the waterfalls. After that you can get changed back into dry clothes at the Bedouin camp.

We had a wonderful time and our guides were brilliant. We were not rushed and could take our time around the pyramids and Sphinx. Rasha our guide around the pyramids was knowledgeable and very experienced - it made the trip feel unique and personal. Our guide for the desert, Amn, was incredibly professional and thoughtful, and again allowed us to go at our own pace while ensuring we got the most out of our time. He also was very knowledgeable and well connected with the sites and people there. Dune basking, rowing on the lakes, sand boarding, and the striking in beautiful “magic lake” were all an incredible and exhilarating experience. Overall, for us, having personal guides were the perfect way to see the sites, we were very well taken care of, the food was good (with delicious fresh fruits), we felt safe and supported at all times.

I can only say one word about this: amazing!
We were picked up at the airport (for an extra fee that I felt was a bit high: $20), after our transport to Cairo was about 3 hours late from Alexandria, which didn't give us time to get to our hotel before the tour. However, our bags traveled with us to the desert. Our family group was my wife, two boys (8 and 12) and I.
We were greeted by our guide Mohamad Yasser, aka Mojito, and we quickly learned how amazing of a guide he was. He was very accommodating, spoke Spanish (our native language) very well, and quickly became part of our family.
We were driven to the desert on an air-conditioned car and once we got there, we were moved to a 4x4, which took us the rest of the way (our bags were left at the other vehicle, to which we returned at the end of the experience).
We went camel-riding, saw the waterfalls between the lakes, and did some sand boarding. My family simply loved all of this, and our driver and guide made it that much more fun.
We finished the day with a meal at a desert Bedouin camp, before going back to our hotel.

Professional company that provided a great day tour option to get out of the city and see a more remote area of Egypt. We loved the sand-boarding on the dunes and the views from the Mountains. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and laid back. Advice for other travelers - if smoke bothers you, you may want to request a non-smoking guide as it is common in Egypt. Also, swimming was not permitted. I’m not sure if it was the time of year as other reviewers seem to have enjoyed swimming in the lake, so please inquire before booking if this is important to you.

I cannot say enough good things about our tour with Ibrahim. He was a FANTASTIC guide and it was clear he had a passion for sharing his country’s beauty, and making sure his guest enjoyed their excursion. I would highly recommend this tour, and Ibrahim as a guide, to anyone visiting Egypt. Thank you King Ibra!!! Your brothers in the US wish you the best!

I was fortunate to take a trip to the fascinating desert of Fayoum, and my experience was simply breathtaking. This journey was not just a visual delight for the senses, but also an exploration of Egypt's history and nature. What made this experience particularly unforgettable was our exceptional guide, Ibrahim.
Our journey began early in the morning. We were picked up directly from the hotel, and during the drive, Ibrahim provided us with a wealth of information about Egypt and the desert. Ibrahim was a true gem; he always took breaks when we needed them, bought us water and snacks, and we were thoroughly satisfied. Initially, we drove to the waterfalls, explored them, and received all the necessary information. Then, we enjoyed a delightful camel ride. Later, we drove through the sand dunes by car. At every dune, there were shouts of "Yallah" :D. We made a stop at a large dune to try sandboarding. Since we were the only guests, Ibrahim gave us as much time as possible, allowing me to slide down the dune multiple times (the climb was very exhausting for me, but they patiently waited for me). The best part of this trip was being in a very small group and having endless time to take photos – Ibrahim also acted as our photographer :). Afterward, we went to the oasis, where we had the opportunity to ride horses and enjoy a delicious meal.
I wholeheartedly recommend this excursion, as you experience many attractions in a single day, and Ibrahim, our guide, fulfilled all our wishes. His passion for the desert and its secrets was contagious. With every step, he told us about the hidden oases, the fascinating rock formations, and the traces of ancient civilizations that once flourished here. If you ever have the opportunity to explore this amazing desert, I strongly urge you to do so with such a dedicated and knowledgeable guide like Ibrahim. It will be a journey you will carry in your heart forever.

We had so much fun on our day trip to Wadi Elrayon and would recommend everyone to book this tour if you have a spare day in Cairo. Our tour guide and driver were very kind and made us feel very looked after. We have so many beautiful photos and memories from this trip. It was our first time sand boarding which was our highlight along with our lunch at the bedouin camp. They can cater for vegetarians also.

We had an amazing day. We were two young couples looking to explore a different face of Egypt, away from the typical monuments, and it was quite a success. The day was full of adventures: we started with a relaxing boat ride, followed by an exciting camel ride. Then, we launched into a 4x4 tour of the desert, a mind-blowing experience! We even made a stop for sandboarding, which ensured a lot of laughter.
After so much activity, we enjoyed a delicious lunch of grilled chicken with rice and potatoes, and to close the day with a golden clasp, we rode the quad pyramids.
I especially want to thank Shaima for her attention, kindness and professionalism throughout the experience. If we had the opportunity to return, we would not hesitate to repeat it, although if it does not happen, we will definitely recommend it to all our friends.
