This tour is a must!! It gets even better when Summer is your guide. We did this tour in the morning with Summer and it was the best out of all of the tours we have been on. This tour is exactly what I could ever hope for, was able to visit inside the great pyramid have several photos and even was able to see the sphinx up close. The pyramids were amazing and Donia our guide made everything so seamless. From the hotel pickup, to acquiring tickets, avoiding any hassles from random people and answering every single question we had about the history of the place. She was very knowledgeable and had such a great attitude towards the day it really allowed us to enjoy our tour. Gave us all the tips and insights for any other questions we had regarding the pyramids or our stay in Egypt. Would book another tour with her again!

Great half day tour with Summer, she provided interesting commentary and was happy to answer our questions. We visited inside the queen’s pyramid instead of Khufu’s which was a good tip from Summer, a lesser climb (15m vs 100m) for the same chamber experience and half the price. We also had the chamber to ourselves which I’d imagine isn’t the case for the larger pyramids. We took the camel ride to see the view of all 9 pyramids. We were a little apprehensive but when in ‘Cairo’, and it was really worthwhile and we are pleased we did. Our driver was also great, on time, always nearby and navigated the chaotic roads well. Finally, we visited a papyrus and oil shop. They are interesting but can be skipped to spend more time at the pyramids.

Oh what an experience! It really worth the effort. Amany the guide and Ahmed the chauffeur were just amazing. Ahmed just stands out, navigating the traffic while respecting other road users like nobody else around him. Amany was the guide that you want, helping you avoid what needs to be avoided. It has been a day to remember!!

We had an amazing experience and memorable moments with this package tour with Gem Explore Egypt. Smooth communication and transparent transaction with Mr. Maged, owner. No hidden cost and the tour was done as stated, from hotel pick up/drop off, touring the sites, and tasty mix grill lunch at local restaurant. Brother Ali our tour guide was excellent in explaining the details & information about the sites we visited. He always reminded us the safety protocols and helpful to avoid unnecessary and annoying vendors. Car is nice and comfortable and Omar our driver always drives safe, considering the chaotic traffic in Cairo. In addition to the pyramids package, we also arrange with the agency the airport pickup as we arrived at 3am, and it was a safe and smooth process all the way to the hotel. As we are very satisfied with the services, we also booked the nile river dinner cruise, and had an enjoyable evening aboard the Nile Crystal Turquoise, with our guide brother Ahmad who was very helpful and fun loving person, and ensure we have a great experience. 100% we recommend Gem Explore Egypt based in our personal experience.

Once booked, lots of contact by Guide (Ali) on where to meet and what time. Greeted in hotel by a very friendly Ali who took us to car. Lots of information given on history of pyramids and area generally. Throughout Ali was knowledgable, friendly and funny making sure we got the best from the tour. He even advised on what amount to tip the camel guide! Went for the lunch option which was very good traditional fare. Overall, an excellent half day. Thanks so much!

This was the best day! Summer our guide was simply amazing and helped us throughout the whole day. Nothing was too much and made the perfect experience. The camel ride was the highlight… seeing my children trot around on their own camel with the Pyramids in the back ground! Simply stunning.
