It was our amazing and unforgettable trip to Luxor! I had agreed with Egyptravelux to have a private pick up from Hurghada hotel where we had stayed and to have a trip to Luxor with one overnight in the Hotel there. I appreciated the way it was organized from the side of the agency, the choice of the Hotel, the schedule and the best timing for visits temples, I appreciated the punctuality and accuracy of the driver, my best regards and appreciation to the guide-egyptologist for the the great professionalism and the most interesting excursions we could ever have!

Since retiring, I have literally traveled the world and experienced many, many guides along the way. By far and away one of the best guides I have encountered was Yomna Salama for our Nile River cruise and Cairo experience. She has a wonderfully magnetic personality that is only accentuated by her astounding knowledge of the antiquities, temples, mosques, and overall history of Egypt. Her love and enthusiasm of sharing all things Egypt is palpable and contagious. She said from the outset that she welcomed all manner of questions and answered them openly and honestly, and some of those questions were rather sensitive in nature. Handled them flawlessly, and in so doing gave us all a better and greater understanding cultural norms and beliefs. Absolutely loved her honesty and openness. I wasn't keen on this trip to Egypt due to a prior negative experience, but this trip was a first for one of my travel companions, so I and our other two travel companions tagged along as it was the first leg of a longer trip. We have zero regrets doing the trip for its scope and depth alone (if only I could remember all I heard!), and thanks to having Yomna as our group's guide, I have a far better understanding and appreciation of ancient Egypt. Yomna is by far the best guide I have ever used in 40 years of traveling in the Middle East. Over the 4 years we lived in Egypt Yomna guided us all over this amazing country. She has amazing experience, knowledge and contacts which meant access to sites where other tour guides couldn’t enter. Imagine being virtually the only tourists at the Great Pyramids, Luxor and Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Gods. This is what it is like to travel during Covid. I just got back from an amazing trip to Egypt with my three adult children and, thanks to the help of Nahla at Egyptraveluxe, it could not have been more perfect! She arranged a fantastic itinerary that included all of the major sights in Luxor as well as a day long trip to Abu Simbel. Our initial plan was to then fly to Cairo and visit the Pyramids and Alexandria on our own, but after experiencing the ease, safety and incredible knowledge that traveling with a guide provides you, we retained her to accompany us to Cairo. This was the best decision we made. Nahla is incredibly knowledgeable of Egyptian history and was so enjoyable to spend our days with. The transportation she arranged was clean and roomy and we even had a police escort with us for the 8 hour drive to Abu Simbel. She assisted us with going to a currency exchange, getting a local SIM card, and bringing us to clean and safe places for Egyptian street food which we wanted to try. She also negotiated prices for our camel ride at the Pyramids so we would not be taken advantage of. We never felt uneasy or unsafe during our time in Egypt and it was incredible to visit these historic sites without mobs of other tourists. If you are able, now is a great time to travel to these "bucket list" sites and I strongly recommend working with Egyptraveluxe & Nahla!

Nahla guided our family of 6 around Luxor and Cairo for 5 days and arranged a balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings. Nahla is extremely knowledgeable (degrees in Egyptology), patient (we wandered away sometimes), and kind (brings chicken for the stray dogs). Her prices are very reasonable, and she tries to tune the tour to our individual needs. She found us a fabulous hotel overlooking the Nile, including breakfast, at a very good price. Best memories of our life, because of Nahla!

While working in Cairo I had the opportunity for a weekend out of the capital. I needed something well planned, seamless and with minimal stress. This company was recommended by my hotel and they did not disappoint. Day one was a full day on the west bank exploring tombs and temples. It was not rushed and I had plenty of time to do my own thing and just wonder around in awe. The guides were always on time, very knowledgable and all has previous experience with tours of all sizes. Drivers were good although the Mini Van for myself alone felt like overkill. Day two was temples on the East side including Karnak and Luxor followed by two hours learning to sail a Felucca. Great guides, no requests for 'extras', everything on time and I never felt rushed. My biggest disappointment was that I needed to return to Cairo! Highly recommended team.

We booked a five-day trip to Luxor and it was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was Nahla and she was really fantastic. She arranged everything (individual program) and she knows so much. It was so much fun to listen to all her stories. I would definitvely recommend this tour to everybody. Thanks for an amazing trip!

We, 4 families from india , totally 16 people including 2 kids, 3 senior citizens visited entire Egypt. Nahla had organised our travel from landing at Cairo to return back to mumbai from Cairo. It was an amazing experience. The vehicles to transport us around , scheduling of trips to various cities, places within, providing beautiful stories on history and anecdotes, experience to local food It was all in total fantastic trip and a very memorable one. We were looking to have a private tour starting in Luxor and found Egyptraveluxe through a Cairo contact I had, Ahmed helped select an excellent cruise ship and all the additional sights I was looking for including arranging the special tombs of Seti I and Nefertari. Fantastic location and itinerary with an amazing cruise on the May Fair which was topped by very helpful and informative guides. Highly recommended and don't forget to go to Abydos and Dendera. Nahla is amazing. She is punctual, flexible and helpful. She is passionate and has extensive knowledge of the history and the hieroglyph. She loves and respects the archaeological sites, she is kind to every one, even animals in the desert where she brings food and water to nourish them. She treated us like family and was very patient and accommodating. she attended to our every need and checked on us to make sure we were doing OK until we left the country ( 10 days after the tour had already ended). Her drivers are also nice and punctual. I have learnt so much from her and will definitely come back to tour with her. PS. Nahla has connections to show you things very few people in the world have seen, just ask!

In august 2017 i hired the private tour to Cairo and Luxor from this agency during my anual vacation planning. It was going to be the first time in Egypt and I did the search and deals using the internet. When I arrived Cairo airport, Ms Nahla was already waiting for me and had the plan ready for the next days. She planned my stay in Egypt with perfection and I was able to visit all important places in a very otpimized and productive way. After Cairo, we also met in Luxor, where she also made herself a great guide as she has impressive knowledge of the history and the sites. I am really glad I found the private tour company because i really used my trip time to visit, explore and enjoy, rather than taking care of day planning. Next year I will go back and take my friends with me.
