We had a wonderful 5 days tour in Aswan and Luxor with 3 nights on a Nile Cruise across the new year eve. The itinerary was well organized to make sure we get the best out of it.
Our guide Omar Haridi was excellent, providing in-depth knowledge and stories that brought the Egyptian history to life. Although we need to wake up 4am or 5am in some days, his capability to turn historical facts into hilarious tales kept us engaged throughout the tour.
The blend of knowledge and fun made this experience truly special and the festive atmosphere in Luxor is amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend his tours to anyone looking to explore the ancient magic of Egypt.

We took an Egypt tour with Egypt Tour Portal starting in Cairo. We flew to Luxor to begin our Nile cruise on the Esmeralda. Our guide for this portion of the trip was Mahmoud Nour. We cannot give him enough praise. He is the perfect guide. He has a warm, engaging personality and extensive knowledge of the sights. He kept our small group organized and everything functioned like clockwork. All tours were managed by him, all we had to do was follow along and enjoy the trip. The boat was clean, modern, and the Esmeralda staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Egyot Tours Portal. Our experience from the start with Walaa our tour operator who answered all our questions promptly and gave us detailed itinerary guides which included contact info for our airport pickup- to our Cairo guide-Maivel-,to our Nile cruise guide Mahmoud, was exemplarary. I cannot say enough about this company. We really enjoyed our trip.

Omar from Egypt tours portal really breaks down erudite and complex Egyptian history to people who are new to the subject. We know nothing more than what’s from Netflix’s Moon Knight and Gal Gadot’s Death on the Nile prior to this trip. Honestly, we are just here to check these amazing sights out and float down the Nile like lazy hippos. Omar ‘forced’ us to learn in his amazingly humorous way and managed to instil some crucial knowledge in the most reticent students. Luxor, particularly the Karnark temples is his pet subject and the subject of his phd. So you can imagine the intellectual opus and enthusiasm he has on the subject. It has been our honour to have someone who is so keen to learn and contribute to the field of Egyptology as our guide down the Nile. His thirst for knowledge in this field is so infectious that we have no choice but to smile and join him for this educational foray.
That said, we are still dumb tourists who wish to take a silly kitschy souvenir back home to the other side of the earth. Omar was our point man for all things related to the tips, gratuities. The haggling process would have been much more traumatic without the shade of Omar’s protection. We wouldn’t have been able to survive the aggressive roadside hustling without his tips.
This tour agency enables us to travel in comfort to all these sights which would have been a logistical nightmare if we try to do it by ourselves.
We did camel rides with the Giza pyramids as our background, horse ride to Kom Ombu, 3 hrs drive to Abu Simbel from Aswan. And that’s all from what I can remember. Tipsy and satiated from the fabulous food and service on Acamar cruise. Not expensive or overpriced too.
We would have to probably pay through our noses if we tried to tackle each sight of Egypt by ourselves. There’s a tiered pricing system based on your haggling skills and we do not have the chops for it. Honestly, I believe it is way cheaper and less stressful to travel to Egypt with Egypt tours portal. I come from South East Asia so we are no stranger to aggressive haggling and ‘tourist prices’. Egypt tours portal makes us feel safe and happy throughout this customised tour.
As a calculative Singaporean who wants the most bang for your buck, strangely, customised tours by them is actually cheaper and better.
For those who wish to travel to Egypt after watching ‘moon knight’ and ‘death on the Nile’, this tour agency fits the bill. All pun intended.
If you are someone who wants to learn more about the cradle of civilisation, find Omar and Egypt tours portal. He encourages Socratic questioning and loves to field any of your questions, no matter how erudite or inane it can be. Just a day or two with Omar, we saw and learn albeit unwillingly (ha, sorry Dr Omar) Sobek, Horus, Orisis, Set, Nut, Jeb. We can read basic hieroglyphics by ourselves, thanks to Omar.

Really great guides, well organized, and excellent communication. You might think that goes without saying but after spending some time in the Middle East (and South Asia), those things are more Western than we care to think about. When there were delays, as there always are in this region, we were alerted promptly and kindly. Every step of the journey was expertly choreographed, with guides handing us off to drivers who walked us to our hotel or found our seats on the train. It's not really 5 days (it starts with an airport pickup but really starts at sunset on Day 1, and ends with a hotel dropoff on Day 4, although you can get a ride to the airport or next hotel on the morning of Day 5). But well worth the price, as the hotels booked were clean, comfortable, and some cases truly exceptional. Guides were fluent... in both language and history... but also enthusiastic and thoughtful. Special commendation to Hassan Ali who guided us around Luxor: he was the best guide of our 10-day stay in Egypt, including 5 days with this trip. We also added on side-trips to explore Cairo on our own, a day-trip to Alexandria, and a few days snorkeling in Sharm El Sheikh (also highly recommended).

We used Egypt Tours Portal for our trip to Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and many stops in between, including a Nile Cruise. The company was responsive to our emails leading up to and during the trip. We had seamless airport pickups, well coordinated itinerary, and a knowledgeable guide. The guide that greeted us in Luxor accompanied us through the Nile cruise, which relieved a lot of stress because Arabic was very hard for us to pick up and could have caused issues when coordinating transportation. All of the sites we visited were amazing and our guide recommended a few changes that enhanced our trip. Our guide provided history, explained the hieroglyphs, and pointed us to key scenes that we would have missed; having Kiro elevated the experience and appreciation of the many sites. We recommend this company for your trip to Egypt!

Omar was our tour guide on our 5 Day Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Omar was an amazing tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and made each tour a fun and enjoyable experience. He also used the tours as a learning experience, teaching us how to interpret the hieroglyphs and images so that when we visited certain tombs we could try to decipher what the hieroglyphs, images and statues represented for ourselves. He did this in a fun and enjoyable way and it made it a lot more memorable when exploring the many tombs.
Omar was also extremely organised and arranged all aspects of the tours seamlessly. It was so refreshing to meet a guide with such passion for the work he was doing and it was very evident to see his love of Egyptology. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking to travel to Egypt and if like us, you want to learn as much as possible during your time here I would 100% recommend Omar!!

We will start by saying, huuuuge compliments to Egypt Tours Portal for assigning Ayman Gabry to us as our Cairo tour guide. They could not have picked a better , kinder and more patient guide than him. From the moment we landed Ayman was there for us. He literally took care of everything. He provided the most pleasant stay we could have imagined. He really took his time to explain everything in detail about evey site we visited from the pyramids to the museum , the churches, the mosque, the bazaar, papyrus factory and all the questions we asked along the way . He is like a walking encyclopedia and knows all the facts about history, politics and religion. On top of that he goes the extra mile to even arrange things that are not part of the tour. He solved our problem with a broken suitcase and the transfer of some pictures we had trouble with during our previous tour. He was always patient and polite, even if we we were late many times he was always nice about it. We even left some of our stuff with him while travelling to other cities and he took care of it. On our request he arranged an excellent photographer named Ibrahem Boyka who took amazing pictures at the pyramids and during the camel ride.
Ayman is a real professional and somebody you can truly rely on for anything. He gave us an amazing and unforgettable experience and we will for sure choose him again each and every time we visit Egypt and therefore strongly recommend Ayman to anyone looking for the most comfortable , carefree and well organized vacation.

We have just returned from an amazing 5 day private tour from Abu Simbel, Luxor and Giza, with incredible stops in between!
Due to our limited time in Egypt, we requested a customised itinerary. ETP were incredibly flexible and clear and prompt with their communications. The company was transparent with the calculation of the cost/inclusions, as well as the impact of any requested changes to the final cost. We had made enquiries with many tour companies and ETP were the easiest to work with by a mile.
The tour was exceptionally well organised, the quality of vehicles and included food was great but the real highlight of the tour were the incredible guides we had. The drivers and both guides were punctual, patient and respectful.
We started with Ahmed in Aswan who stayed with us for 3 days to finish in Luxor. He was extremely knowledgable, funny and passionate about Egyptian history which really made our trip special. He answered all of our questions and never made us feel rushed, going over and above to make us feel comfortable for the whole journey and enjoy our time there. He also greeted us with a smile and gave us great local recommendations for night time.
ETP arranged our flights from Cairo to Luxor which was seamless. We were picked up by a driver from Cairo airport and then met Mohamed ElShemei who was guide for Giza/Saqqara. Mohamed was also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. He was patient and continually offered to take (and direct!) some really great photos for us to keep our memories from Egypt! Mohamed went above and beyond and invited us to reach out if we needed any help the next day even though our tour would have concluded.
We had an amazing experience from Day 1 and would highly recommend Egypt Tour Portals to organise your Egypt holiday. Thank you to Ahmed and Mohamed El Shemei for an unforgettable experience, - we would definitely recommend requesting both of them as your guides!

We booked with Egypt Tours Portal because we wanted to see Abu Simbel in Aswan and the Valley of the Kings in Luxor and were more than pleased with their services. As two women travellers, we felt safe with their drivers and guides, who were respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. They were prompt in responding to queries and flexible in accommodating changes in the itinerary. Thanks to Ahmed, our guide in Aswan, Hussam in Luxor and Ahmed Rezk, our guide to the Pyramids of Giza and the Cairo Museum. Thank you all!
