Our tour guide Ahmad Awad looked after us very well. The tour were well organised and on time. Ahmad's knowledge deciphering the hieroglyphics brought meaning and life the the amazing temples and tombs of the ancient Egyptian dynasties.

From the first contact to provide an itinerary to the last contact securing a refund for a cancelled flight, the staff at Memphis was attentive, professional and empathetic. Sara who booked the trip after we made several changes over a 2 week period meaning 6 iterations, was always helpful and responsive. The local hosts (especially Nsar) treated us like royalty. The drivers (especially Mohammed) deserve a medal for navigating Cairo traffic. The the guides (especially Ahmed) were very well informed and helpful. We had the trip of a lifetime over 11 days seeing as many of the sites as we could including 5 flights within Egypt and a Nile cruise. If you want to skip anything the day trip to Alexandria is a 3.5 hour drive to see catacombs and a citadel. Both take less than a couple of hours.

Ahmed Abo El Hassan is an is the perfect Guide for the upper Nile tours. You should san for his assistance when visiting this part of Egypt

We used Memphis Tours for our entire week in Egypt starting in Cairo, then in Aswan, Abu Simbel and on the Nile tour to Luxor. They were very responsive, prompt, well planned, very helpful with everything (with the exception of not booking first class on the domestic flights that was requested). Our tour guides, Mohammad in Cairo, and Abdul in Abu Simbel were extremely knowledgeable and great. The photo shooting with the camels at the Pyramids is a must option that left us with wonderful photos.

Marrocos is amazing. The people, the places, the tours. We could visit a modern country with ancient history. Me anda my husband loved there.

Our trip to Cairo was wonderful. On the last day we got to see the museum of Egyptian civilisation and Old Islamic Cairo with the market. Our guide David was fantastic. We will be back!!

The Tour was great and we are very happy with his service. It was good from the start when Ahmed Ramadam picked us up from the hotel with great punctuality. As my wife first language was not German, he changed quickly to english and continued the whole tour in this language. it was greatly appreciated. Additionally we will have wonderfull memories due to his talent of taking pictures. We thank Ahmed for the nice time.

I stayed 14 days in Egypt, 5 in Cairo, 5 in Nile Cruise, 4 in Sharm el Sheij in Sept/Oct 24. Many many thanks to Nesma Mohamed! She helped me planning the itinerary, activities, ensured everything was according to planned and look after me at every moment. I’m sure my stay in Egypt wouldn’t had been as exciting and everlasting as it was if she wasn’t part of it. Thank you Nesma and Memphis! We had a great time on the 5 day Nike cruise and Abu Simbel temples which was organized by Memphis. Memphis is very organized and very responsive with any queries. Azab (our guide) was with us from Luxor to Aswan and was amazing. He was always punctual for the excursions and had all the travel arrangements and entry tickets booked ahead of time. He is very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and answers all the questions patiently. We added an extra excursion after the cruise to the Abu Simbel temples, and we were assigned a different guide, but he was excellent too. The cars and small vans used for the different excursions were great.

We used Memphis Tours to plan our first time trip to Egypt and I'm glad we did. Our trip was two weeks and we spent time in Cairo, Luxor (including a Nile Cruise), Aswan, and Sharm El Sheikh. All of our guides, drivers, were very friendly, kind, professional and always made sure we were having the best experience possible. Although everyone was amazing, the two guides that stood out to me the most during our trip were Kerolos Henen in Cairo and Alaa Rashwan who was with us on our Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Kerolos was kind, friendly, personable and fun. He gave us lots of information regarding all the activities we could do while we were in Cairo and also arranged to have my very important Egyptian cotton bedsheets I purchased in Cairo delivered to my hotel at the end of the trip so that I wouldn't have to worry about taking it with me in my luggage while I traveled around. On our last night in Cairo, I was pretty hungry after getting in from our flight from Sharm El Sheikh, and he took us to a local spot for food. Even though it was a simple meal, it was one of my favorites and it made the last few hours of my trip some of the best hours I could have spent. I'm very happy to have had Kerolos as our Cairo guide and highly recommend him. Alaa is a very knowledgeable Egyptologist with years of experience under his belt. He was able to answer pretty much any question we had about anything that we saw, and explained to us all the facts and history of Egypt with confidence and ease. His love and passion for his work truly showed, and it made our experience that much more memorable and enjoyable. Even at times where minor challenges came up with my friend that I was traveling with, he navigated the situation with kindness and understanding and always made sure she was satisfied and happy. He took good care of us and looked out for us every step of the way. I'm very happy to have had him as our Luxor/Aswan guide and highly recommend him as well. Overall I really enjoyed my time in Egypt and feel very lucky to have had such amazing people be part of my experience. Thank you very much to the whole Memphis Team for everything! :)

Memphis Tours really knows how to hire people. Every person whether it was a driver, guide, a Nile cruise worker, or anyone else was extremely nice and helpful. My friend and I booked the 10 day tour that included: Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and Hurghada. The experience was superb. The lodging was great. We felt completely safe the entire time. 1. Cairo - pyramids and local museum. 2. Aswan and Luxor Temples and King Tut 3. Hurghada Red Sea Cruisre and desert excursion. From my initial contact with Nayera to my final flight back home, Memphis Tours was both friendly and professional always responding to my inquiries in a timely fashion. The vehicles were modern and comfortable and the drivers were always timely and courteous. Our guides were extremely competent and attentive. We just returned from a 9 night custom tour of Egypt organized thru Nile Cruise Vacations. Our contact in Cairo and beyond was Memphis Tours. We could not have expected anything better in the tour Guide Sherif and our driver Mahmoud in Cairo and Alexandria. Alexandria Library a must see. Attached picture. They were the best, knowledgeable, easy to understand and made us feel so welcome in their country. Our guide, Abdo, for Aswan and Luxor again was quite knowledgeable. Hotels were 3-4 star, adequate since we were on the go nonstop. Our Nile River cruise was on m/s La Traviata and it was truly a step back in time, nostalgic. Where they lacked glitz, the service was impeccable. The tours were great and we saw and learned so much. Last minute add on was to the Grand Egyptian Museum, Absolutely Awesome, well done, not to miss when visiting Cairo. Memphis Tours took very good care in providing us an awesome experience. Again we all would recommend this tour I personally organized this itinerary, but I would add an additional day or 2 down time, especially leaving 1st day open as a free day due to very long flight and late arrival in Cairo.
