About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- MattocksM0 contributionsThe best guided tour ever. This was hands down the best guided tour we have ever done. The sheer volume of knowledge possessed by our tour guide, and his ability to pass that knowledge on was remarkable. We were collected from and returned to the airport by our driver who was skilled, friendly and entertaining. Our guide took us on a very well planned route that allowed us to build on our knowledge as we progressed through the day. The tour included lunch and this was a fantastic meal at a very authentic Egyptian restaurant. This tour was great value for money, entertaining, well planned and full of amazing sights. Worth every minute.Written September 30, 2024

- Vacation461871867370 contributionsVery good 2 days guided tour. We got to explore a lot of more of Cairo and Gizé because of this tour.Everything about the tour was amazing. Mona (our female guide) was incredible, has a lot of knowledge about egyptian culture and can transmit information easily without being overextensive. In the monuments, she always gives a brief explanation about it, and recommends the best angles for photos. The food and the restaurants included in the tour were incredible as well, we got to try authentic Egyptian cuisine. Very kind person and the best tour we could ask for the 2 days we were in Cairo and Gizé. 5/5 would recommend 👍👍Written September 5, 2024
- B4459FYmartinn0 contributionsGreat way to see all the important sitesI did this tour with Mahmoud as the guide. It was a great comprehensive way to see all the major pyramids and sites in one day. You'll of course see the great pyramids of Giza, but also some of the less popular ones. It was nice to see the progression of how they differed over time. Mahmoud was a great host. He provided lots of interesting history, facts, and context. He also made some interesting meta points of how things tie to modern Egyptian culture. My driver was safe and courteous. The lunch was surprisingly good. It was one actually one of the most delicious meals I had on the trip. Overall, a great way to see things with a private guide, at a good price.Written September 5, 2024
- Paradise537253886400 contributionsA must tour for Egypt and seeing the pyramids.Book this tour if you want a personalised tour. Do yourself a favour and avoid the big groups, especially in the Egyptian heat and book this tour.. A great day filled with history. Plenty of opportunity to explore more, rest or ask questions. Mahmoud was very knowledgeable about history and provided a lot of informationWritten August 27, 2024

- blue_dragon99uk0 contributionsAwesome Day OutTo summarize, we had a fantastic time - big thanks to Mona the tour guide and the drivers, the trip was well organized, very informational and the only improvements I can think of are no music on the boat and a better lunch (and that is me being picky). As mentioned it is a long journey ~6 hours each way, so bring pillows, water, packed breakfast/dinner - luckily we all managed to sleep on the bus so wasn't as bad as I was worried it might be. --- We had not used Viatour before, so I was a little nervous to begin with but was quickly reassured by Mohammed via WhatsApp which provided the details all the details we need regarding pickup and answered all my questions. Our Journey started at 3am from the hotel where we settled in and got some sleep for the long journey ahead, there was a couple of rest stops on the way and just be aware that seemingly randomly you might be asked for 10 EGP to use the toilet so have some loose change available. We got to the Egyptian Museum just before 9am and met Mona our Tour Guide who would look after us for the day, she was extremely knowledgeable and we spent nearly 2 hours there, before we all jumped back into the minibus to the Nile Cruise. The Nile Cruise was nice though short and the captain put on some extremely loud music for a strange reason, so not very relaxing. Personally I would have probably preferred to miss the boat ride and spend more time in the museum but that is just a personal thing. Lunch was average but "filled a hole" and you have to pay for drinks and then we jumped into the mini-bus to see the Pyramids The Pyramids were amazing, you had to pay extra to go into them - but the queue was long, the weather was hot and we were all starting to get a bit tired so decided not to bother, Mona provided a lot of interesting information as we walked around and then we moved onto a more panoramic view where we had our camel ride which was great fun and we got some great pictures. Back onto the minibus to see the Sphinx where we walked around and then finally the Papyrus shop and gift shop where we bought some bits and pieces then we said goodbye to Mona and headed back to the hotel. Where do I start? The journey from Hurghada to Cairo is a very long one. We started at 2am and got back to our hotel at 11.30pm. The drivers were very patient, friendly and accommodating. (Thank you Mr Ahmed). Our tour guide Reem was professional, patient and extremely helpful. We had 2 young children with us and she was very accommodating. First we went to the Egyptian Museum, followed by a Felucca ride on the nile which was magnificent, then a spot of lunch at a local restaurant which was lovely(Drinks not included nor lunch for infants). We then went to the Giza plateau where Reem explained everything thoroughly and was so informative. She took some beautiful pictures for us throughout the day. We then went on a camel ride through the Giza plateau finishing off at the sphinx and some more pictures. The drive back was a long one, make sure you bring a pillow with you and a book for the ride. Thank you so much, we enjoyed our day at Cairo and all the staff made it a memorable one.Written April 18, 2024
- Sightseer613943307040 contributionsA day to rememberEverything went very smooth. We received a message 2 days prior to the trip to confirm the details. Our driver met us on time. In Cairo we picked up our guide. Then we visited the Egyptian museum for 2 hours and got many informations about the rich history. Then we went to a private 30 min boat trip on the river nile. After a visit to a papyrus factory we went to lunch, which was not extraordinary but sufficient. In the afternoon we saw the pyramids of Giza. We’ve been taken to the point with the best views of the scenery. From there we had a 30 min camel ride alongside the pyramids. After this we went to see the sphinx. On the way back to Hurghada we dropped off our guide and finally went back to our hotel. We’ve been accompanied by the guide at all sights and got many explanations. Our driver (Mahmoud) and our guide (Mahmoud) were very friendly, helpful and professional.Written April 10, 2024

- Explorer5866810 contributionsRide in the desertThis ride was really amazing, really fast and although I cannot drive at all, Mohammed still had an option to enjoy the dunes with my son. I felt safe during the ride, i got a lot of adrenaline and there was also an opportunity to rest a bit and take some amazing photos. Everybody around us take a good care of ourselves and there was no hidden fees at all. 💯 Recommended.Written December 26, 2023

Thank you so much for this amazing experience! It was always my dream to see the pyramids, finally it came true. Especially the competent team made this adventure a great day for me, thanks again for the top organisation and all the interesting facts I learnt about the history. The camel riding was also great and funny experience, just be careful when dismounting ;-)
These memories will last for a long time, when my friends&family come to Egypt I will recommend this definitely!
