    A great afternoon in Cairo
Thank you Viator for a wonderful tour with our guide Bisho and driver Achmed. They were both amazing. Bisho is very knowledgeable, courteous, entertaining and accommodating. Also we could not have had a better driver. Don’t know how he does it but he is amazing. We highly recommend both this tour and definitely this team.

Fantastic, but minus 1 due to……
My guide Demiana and the driver Moaz were fantastic! They are both very professional. Demiana was very enthusiastic showing me around and always asked my needs. But I felt the operator was not so sincere. He called me just one day before my tour starts when I cannot get the free cancellation anymore, telling me that my hotel is out of pick area so I have to pay 100 extra US dollars, which I negotiated down to 2000 pounds. Even though I wrote down the name of the hotel when I booked the tour. Without this trouble, I have surely given 5 points!

Fun experience, wasn’t fond of the extra stops
Quad bike was so much fun and the camel ride was alright, tour around the pyramids was nice and informative, but be weary of the “educational stops” made along the way. I opted out of them all but it didn’t come without a little bit of putting my foot down that I was not interested in going into these shops to hear an explanation and being asked to buy things. I was weary about the first one, went in to give it a chance and the lady immediately asked me if I like scarfs or if I needed a scarf… while I was wearing a scarf. My tour guide on the next one told me to “at least listen to their presentation” but to be honest I was only interested in the quad bike, camel ride, and pyramid walk around like this tour explained in the advertisement. After going in again to “at least listen to the presentation” I excused myself within the first 30 seconds and asked to leave. The highlight was the quad bike, I did an early morning tour for the sunrise and to beat the heat/crowds. The experience was amazing but I would *highly* recommend TripAdvisor look into maybe having the driver bring the tourist to the starting location of the Sahara quad bike. I met the tour guide at the shop and we rode the bike from the shop through the back way streets to the starting point and I saw a lot of things I preferred to maybe never see. I know that’s the hard truth of countries like Egypt but it was a little bit of a sour sight. Like I said though the quad bike through the desert was AMAZING and my guide really took care of me and hyped me up. In the future I would maybe only do the quad bike option.

Nice dinner on the Nile with the right expectations
Our driver Assem arrived right on time and during the trip he enthousiasticly gave interesting information about the city. The boat was already older, we preferred to sit outside, but inside there were traditional dance acts. The dinner buffet was good. Don’t expect spectacular views, but if you want to have a good dinner by sunset on a boat, floating on the Nile, It can be certainly recommended.

    Great half day excursion
Ehab and Eslam were fantastic. Traffic is of course crazy in Cairo so to have a private driver for the day is well advised. This also helps mitigate the amount of haggling you have to do as you are only paying one driver, one time. This half day trip can be as long or as short as you'd like, I did not feel rushed, and when I was disinterested in something, such as a spice market, we merely skipped it. Ehab and Eslam also watched out for me clearly by shooing away locals trying hard sales. Nothing made me feel unsafe, but Ehab and Eslam did make me feel extremely comfortable regardless of my surroundings. Many many folks in Egypt will offer a similar service, but Ehab and Eslam's no pressure experience was the real standout. I felt like they had my back, got to focus on enjoying myself, and felt very well taken care of. They also provided water and excellent AC in the car (I went during peak summer heat). I would trust these two guys again any day and would recommend them to anyone. Also, Ehab had tons and tons of facts to provide during the museum tour and while driving around town. They clearly know their stuff and are humorous and friendly throughout.

    Red Sea with CaPoo!
Went to the Red Sea with CaPoo! CaPoo was great! I would take any tour with him again. From the start he was very communicative about a small delay due to traffic. He shared many facts about the area as we drove out of Cairo and pointed out landmarks. He stopped about 1/2 way for us to use the bathroom. As we got close to the resort he stopped and provided ice cream! He helped to get us checked in and then periodically checked on us throughout the day and he took amazing photos of us. On the way back he went out of his way to drive us by the pyramids and even stopped to let us take a picture! He offered to take us to several other places but we were too tired at the point. CaPoo- 10/10! The experience itself was good and I am glad we did it. A few things to note: you are paying for the experience and not for the dayroom or food. The dayroom was bare but allows us to store our stuff without worry, we also rinsed off before driving back but had to ask for towels and were only given hand towels. The food was what I expected, nothing great. The beach was beautiful! it was not crowded. We got towels and layout chairs. Of note, I thought this was a tourist resort and a bikini was fine, which it technically was, but it was almost all the locals and they were all dressed with bodies fully covered. I did not feel comfortable in just a bikini so I kept my cover on—even in the water. Depending on your comfort level, you might want to bring shorts and a shirt to keep on while at the beach/water.

Nicely arranged tour with a friendly and experienced guide
We enjoyed our tour of Coptic and Islamatic Cairo. The evening before we got a message of confirmation by the operator and guide, so the communication was good. We stayed at Ghiza, so not all tour operators come that far from Cairo, but this was no problem. The guide Mohammed, and the driver , arrived early to pick us up at the hotel to drive us first to the Citadel and M. Ali Mosque. After a short stop at a cotton and spice shop, we drove to the Coptic area to see 2 churches (St georges and Hanging Churche) and ended at the Khalali bazaar where we drunk tea. The guide took his time to give background information and to let us visit the highlights. During the trip he was so kind to provide us with water and ice Cream. This tour was not included by our travel agency, but we would highly recommend

    Very well operated great tour
All drivers and guide were punctual and courteous. I found the guide Remon knowledge and easy to interact with. He happily took photos for me and was very attentive . Note that the included lunch is very light, but that's what I needed that day. I opted out of the longer lunch with a Nile cruise. This means you'll finish your tour earlier, so it's better to co-ordinate your flight back accordingly. As mentioned by others, there was an unplanned stop at a local village souvenir shop with a hard sale on stone carved souvenirs. After spending a couple of days in Giza, that didn't phase me too much. The prices he'll throw at you will be x20 the outside price. Don't fall for it. I would recommend this trip if you're a solo traveller. It made visiting Luxor easy and I got to see everything I wanted to see.
