It was our first visit to Cairo. We had booked the usual trips, pyramids, museums, citadel, etc. We wanted to see something outside Cairo so we booked a day trip to the monasteries of Wadi el Natrun. We were not disappointed. It was a long day. We were picked up from our hotel in Central Cairo at 7.30am, as arranged, and arrived back at 5.30pm. Our driver, Essam, and guide, Hosni, both spoke excellent English and were very helpful. We visited four monasteries. In each one an English speaking monk led the tour. We were always with other groups who did not speak English, so each tour was slowed down by the need for translation of the commentary. The drive to the monasteries through the desert and some small towns was a very interesting part of our day, as we had hoped. Highly recommended.

We did the Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis trip, guided by Hosni. I booked it online about a month before and received instant confirmation. I then sent an email to reconfirm a couple of days before and got a fast response. The day was well paced, Hosni was very knowledgeable and we had a fantastic time. Highly recommended.

My overnight safari in the White Desert was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, and the team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable adventure. The journey from Cairo was comfortable, with a few scenic stops along the way, including the Black Desert. Each location was breathtaking. Once we reached the White Desert, the landscape was absolutely mesmerizing—otherworldly rock formations, vast open spaces, and a stunning sunset that painted the sky in shades of orange and pink. The campsite was set up beautifully, and the team prepared a delicious traditional meal that we enjoyed under the stars. The night sky was one of the clearest I’ve ever seen, perfect for stargazing. Sleeping in the desert was a surreal experience, though I have to admit it wasn’t the most comfortable. It got extremely cold at night, and despite the blankets provided, I found it a bit difficult to sleep. If you’re planning to do this trip, I highly recommend bringing extra layers and a little pillow.

My visit to the Pyramids of Giza with Deluxe Travel was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We asked the company to take us to Saqqara and to the old Coptic area. Zizou, an Egyptologist, took us around and gave excellent explanations of the sites. He offered a brief presentation of ancient Egyptian history to help us get a good picture of the area. Zizou is well versed on history, hieroglyphics, religion, and probably a lot more! Thank you to Zizou and driver for a great day.

We visited Sakkara, Dahsur and Memphis with Mohamed Gomaa. Mohamed began the tour with an outline of Egyptian history and explained in much greater detail about the places we visited when we were there. He was able to answer all of our questions and was good at finding photo opportunities. We both went inside the pyramid of Unas at Sakkara and my husband tackled the Bent pyramid at Dahsur. The quick visit to the carpet factory was interesting and finally Mohamed helped us bargain for a souvenir when we visited Memphis. This was a really interesting day out and we can recommend the tour especially with Mohamed Gomaa as guide.

Took a private car trip with my wife from Cairo to Alexandria for the day. The team of Hosni (guide) & Ehab (driver) did an excellent job getting us to Alexandria smoothly and quickly. We saw all the best sights, skipped the lines, had an amazing fish lunch, and got back on time. Hosni even arranged a few extra bonus stops to suit our individual needs. Highly recommend!!!!!

I saw what was described in ad for tour but would rate it as ordinary. The guide sort of hassled me for a tip for himself and the driver, this left a bad taste.

Hosni was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He was able to answer our questions. We recommend his services.

Zizou was a phenomenal tour guide. Very passionate about Egyptology and very accommodating to our tour group. He was able to reccomend us multiple things to do and more importantly what not to do. At each location he was able to tell us the history in a meaningful way. And importantly take phenomenal photos! The car accomodations and driver were great as well which made for a seamless day. 10/10

Zizou and Ehab Our trip today was amazing. 🤩 We went to the Egyptian museum saw so many intriguing things. Zizou was so knowledgeable and shared all the best highlights. We went to many churches and a synagogue and ended the day at the bazar. Without him we would have been lost. Ehab picked us up and dropped us off at every destination with a smile. I would highly recommend bothers guys. Truly one of the best experiences. Lunch was also delicious.

Excellent tour. Highly recommended for people who want to see the most important items in the vast collection. Our guide was emerge and excited to share his knowledge of Egyptian history with us.

Cairo to Alexandria made for a great day trip! My driver was timely, the guide (hi Hosni!) was super knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt safe & entertained the entire time. Hosni took me through the catacombs, the pillar, the library, and the Roman amphitheater. He also gave a helpful overview of Egyptian history and politics, informing everything we saw on the drive to/from Alexandria. A long day, but absolutely with it.
