Amira was my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and absolutely amazing. She made my experience all the more memorable and also gave me great advice on which options I should take while deciding whether to enter the pyramids or take a camel ride, what to look out for while bartering with locals with curios and general advice while exploring Cairo. We had extra time in between sites and was able to visit the Papyrus shop (highly recommend) This was the first time back to Cairo in 25 years and I could not have had a better time while on tour. From the moment Mo picked us up with a warm welcoming smile and calm demeanor I knew we were in good hands. When I travel I want to eat local as much as possible and have an authentic not touristy experience. This particular visit for me focused on Giza. Mo expressed his desire to focus on a typical Egyptian may eat during the day. We were a match made in heaven. We began breakfast at Hills restaurant. It is well decorated with a happy upbeat vibe. The dining space could easily accommodate large parties of 20-30 people. The table was covered. Mo assured us the women of the household cooked these options regularly for breakfast. Roasted eggplant, Cucumber tomato salad, tahini, humus, potatoes, chopped cheese and tomato salad, potatoes and falafel. We took a break from eating to smell some wonderful essential oils. After sampling oils we we treated to a wonderful presentation of organic spices and teas. Back to eating we sampled Kushiry. Kushiry starts with a plate of two types of pasta: spaghetti and small macaroni. Topped with lentils chickpeas ground meat, spaghetti sauce. I like mine with lemon vinegar and a lot of chili sauce. Halfway thru my bowl I started scooping it with the deep fried aish bread. In need of another break we stopped at a carpet making school. I was able to witness first hand how deft fingers weave the fine silk threads. Hammoud guided us through the store displaying one beauty carpet after another. Now I know why they cost so much. Lunchtime and time for Barbque. I was very ready. My mouth watered in anticipation of smoky savory sauce coating my choice of meats. Imagine my surprise when out comes meat without any coating😂😂😂 BBQ in Egypt is grilled meat. Just one of many foods that have the name name, but are totally different in US compared to Cairo. A strawberry milkshake is a thick drink of blended strawberries. Another break from food we visited a cotton store. There were many beautiful blouses, skirts and dresses in many colors and designs. We wrapped up our afternoon sampling icecream. My favorite food. Not quite icecream not quite gelato. It’s much less sweeter than either and I am a fan. Do not hesitate to book with Mohammed for any of your needs while in Egypt. He offers more tours than food. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. We had good day with Mo and Ibrahim during the food tour. We let the guide know upfront what we liked and what food we had already tried on our previous tours and he made sure we could try some new food instead. Mo is very helpful and honest! It was also nice to see the local Giza market, spice and carpet shop. Would recommend this tour.

We had a professional driver picking us from the airport. Also the contact with the tour agency was smoothly. They sent us a picture of the driver and the agency sign upfront so we could easily find the driver. This was very comfortable after a long flight. Would book again.

This is an excellent tour. Our guide Abdou is an amazing person. He explained very nicely. He is a great photographer. The Egyptian lunch was very delicious. He treated us like a family. It is highly recommended

We had a lovely time with Hala and Sam visiting the pyramids at Dashur, Saqqara and ending at Giza. We really enjoyed the little history lesson by the Bent Pyramid and the Sphinx in particular! Hala was very enthusiastic and willing to cater the tour for us (we misheard and did not want to visit the perfume and papyrus shops, once we realised Hala was happy to change the plan). We were given time to enjoy the different sites at our leisure with Hala and Sam always ready to take us to the next location. They knew the best times to avoid the crowds and the best places for photo opportunities! Sam was a very courteous and friendly driver for the day which was very much appreciated!

Mo was our guide and Haitham was our driver for our food tour today. Friendly, polite and knowledgable guide and safe driver. Excellent local food and drinks with choices of activities in between so you have time to digest one meal before the next one arrives. You can see the pyramids from many roads we travelled on so that’s an extra bonus. Plus a lovely dessert platter as a gift at the end. We were so full we asked for the last meal to be takeaway so we could enjoy it later. It was no problem for Mo. Highly recommend this tour and bring your appetite as there is so much food!

If you want a smooth and easy trip, definitely book this tour! We had Mo and Haitham. It’s been another eventful day. National Egyptian Museum, to see the artifacts and mummies! Then went to the Ali Mohammed Mosque. First off definitely appreciate Mo instructing me to make sure I bring a shawl/scarf to cover my head and wear long clothing to cover my legs prior to entering the mosque. Appreciate it. We also got to experience going to the khan el khalili market! Mo was informative and passionate about the history of Egypt. Also he takes pretty good photos! We bought so much souvenirs from some of the places Mo taken us and needed another luggage bag. Mo ended up taking us to a store to buy another luggage. Lol Anyways the service was great. We had an amazing time. Thank you Mo and Haitham for such a memorable experience.

Great first day in Egypt. Mo and Haitham picked us up from our hotel. And we started off opposite route to avoid the morning crowd from Giza. Mo definitely knew his stuff. The information he gave was fascinating and he answered all my questions. I also want to add he took amazing photos of us. I was very hot as it got later in the day, but cold water bottles were offered and some of the stops we made also offered cold beverages. The pyramids has always been on my bucket list since I was a child. So this meant a lot to me. Not a single moment we felt unsafe. Everything was a smooth process and easy. Thank you Mo and Haitham! Egypt so far has been great!
