Not sure a great deal ...Trip a deal 2 for 1 Egypt
Did the trip deal from Australia to Egypt with the 2 for 1 offer. Overall felt shortchanged because if all the " shopping trips" that were added to the daily programe, really took away from the sites etc

Tour of Egyptian Civilization museum with pick up and drop off
Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel and we visited the Egyptian Civilization museum. He handled parking, tickets, and gave us a brief overview of what’s in the museum and then allowed us to walk through at our leisure. After the museum we visited a papyrus shop. Over all it felt very smooth and safe. We would use them again.

          St Catherine
St Catherine trip, Mt Sanai, amazing trip. You must be a level 4 or 4.5 to climb this mountain. Not an easy feat. I am so grateful I persisted, and my guide Mina Kromel, was so encouraging, that I kept putting one foot in front of the other. Amazing to see the sunrise, Moses cave, and rang the bell of the church on top. Camels are available up to the stairs if you want to save energy. Highly recommend if you like hiking and adventure.

          Captivating. Highly recommended.
We started the day exploring the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. As there are not many signs in the museum, our guide Hamada explained to us the key artefacts. For instance, an important artefact is the Narmer Palette, which depicts the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. Hamada explained the engravings very well, which gave me a richer understanding of the significance of the palette. There are so many artefacts to see and with the crowds in the museum, Hamada was able to guide us to the main ones so that we would not miss out. After spending about 3 hours in the museum, we went to Coptic Cairo and visited the Abu Serga church (Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church) and the Ben Ezra synagogue. We then visited the first mosque built in Cairo (Amr ibn al-As mosque), before heading to Islamic Cairo. Walking within the massive enclosure of Islamic Cairo was amazing. Hamada skilfully guided us through the busy Khan El-khalili bazaar and explained various aspects of the ancient streets and complexes. He then took us for some great coffee at El Fishawy, which is a very popular spot for locals and tourists to meet for shisha and coffee/tea. We really enjoyed our time in Egypt with Hamada. If you want a memorable experience in Egypt, you will have a great time with Hamada.

Amazing experience, will treasure for the rest of our lives.
Our US-based agency takes small groups of experienced travelers to the most beautiful and exotic places in the world. We had used the services of Cairo Day Trip to plan, organize and conduct an amazing trip to Cairo, Giza, Saqqara, Luxor, and Aswan. The New Year's party was held on board of a beautiful Nile cruise boat. We had visited the most amazing sites in the Lower / Upper Egypt, while being accompanied by two most caring, entertaining and knowledgeable people: an Egyptologist and a company representative, both named Mohammed. After completing the Egyptian part of the journey, our group traveled to Jordan, where we visited Amman, Jerash, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and Petra. Another company representative had flown with us to Jordan to ensure that our group was fully satisfied. At the end of the tour, everyone in the group was extremely happy with the time they had had in the Middle East. All of our expectations were exceeded. We highly recommend Cairo Day Trip and welcome your questions / inquiries.

A Day We Will Never Forget
Visiting the pyramids is one of those lofty tourist goals, one of the places everyone should see in their lifetime. You expect to be awestruck. You expect to be humbled by the experience. The destination is so incredible that you might underestimate the value of a great guide. But a great tour guide makes the experience so much richer by immersing you in the history and culture that created these monuments. We enjoyed a day with Muhammad who brought it to life for us.

My 2021 Amazing Trip to Egypt
My friends and I went to Egypt alone as females and didn’t know what to expect, but it was amazing! We felt extremely safe and honestly made some amazing friends. The people there are so kind and I fell in love with Egypt!! Muhammad Abossod was our guide through Cairo, Memphis etc... He was so knowledgeable but also felt like we were with a great friend all day!! We continue to stay in touch with him and love looking at His photography. We did a private day trip with him and that’s the way to go in my opinion!! I can’t say enough about how amazing the people of Egypt are and how awesome Muhammad was as our tour guide. Kelley Belcher

          Amazing experience
This was one of the best organised tours I have been in!!! Travelling to Cairo from hurghada means that one leaves about 1am. Ahmed came to check on us and gave us some snacks which was great! And also to reassure us that the bus would be coming shortly. We had a wonderful guide in another Ahmed. He had lots of knowledge, taking us to the museum and giving us a lot of information and I’m sure, if time was not a constraint m, we would have learnt a lot. He took us to the pyramids and although it rained!!!!!, he was still so good, taking us to another viewing spot! He was just so, so good! He made the whole experience such a wonderful memory for us! I was thrilled at this experience of the pyramids and the Sphinx and seeing the mask of king Tut!! Amazing amazing amazing!

          7 Hour Layover Tour
Highly recommend this tour if you have a long layover in Cairo! Excellent experience from start to finish. I had a fantastic time with Mohammad, he was an excellent guide, very knowledgable about all of the historic sites, the history of Egypt and Cairo, and had great food and coffee spots. I only wish I had more time! This tour is the perfect amount of time to explore the Pyramids, Sphinx, and Old City/Bazaar all while having great food and drink along the way. Can’t wait to come back!

Trip to the bahariya oasis, white and black desert overnight tour
We are two young lady travellers. We took the 2d1n tour to the bahariya desert. Our experience was actually very smooth and the tour operators were very impressive. We booked the tour just the day before due to our schedule. The reply was prompt and not pushy and they explained the itinerary, the cost and even gave us a reasonable amount of time to decide whether to go for it. On the day of the travel, there was a slight delay due to our hotel being a bit difficult to locate, but again the service person on whatsapp was prompt and efficient in replying - it was much appreciated. So then, we were picked up by the guides (mohamad and mohamad), 2 friendly middle aged chaps. As we travelled through to the desert, the first part of the journey, there was adequate rest stops and they even heeded a request to stop at an atm for us. We stopped for lunch at a local’s house, and it was very authentic and nice. We were made to leave our luggage here though, despite me having checked if we can bring it along with us through the entire journey. But it was safe, just that if told earlier, we would have packed smaller cases for ourselves the night before. Then we started the tour through the deserts and the driver ( the guy whose house we ate at ) who was also very friendly and knowledgeable took us to the sites to see. Following that, we went to the camp, where we had another fella helping out as well. And dinner was excellent, cooked there by the local guy. We had a chance to catch the sunrise and the beautiful sunset. And spent some time in an outdoor campfire setting with bedoin tea and friendly chats. The guides had alot of experience and so alot of stories to share. One of them was constantly taking pictures that we cant wait to get from him (they were pictures that we couldnt have taken with our phones). Honestly it felt like they were our uncles looking out for us and sharing with us their knowledge. We felt quite safe even with sharing the tent with 4 other guys. The next day, we had a light breakfast before setting off to collect our luggages and back to our hotel. It ended earlier then expected (i.e some attractions on itinerary not covered), but we were told its due to some attractions being closed off. All in all, it was a good trip, hopefully next time we come, the other attractions are open too.

          Alexandria is for lovers
Library lovers, that is! We spent 2 days in Alexandria so we would have enough time to visit the amazing library (check out the old maps on the cartography floor: upside down so north is at the bottom), printing press exhibits, and Anwar Sadat Museum. Heads up: the library is open until 7 but the many museums inside close at 4. We ran out of time to see it all. Our guide took us to a side street seafood stall and we had an AMAZING lunch of fresh fish, calamari, shrimp, clams, side dishes. One of the best meals in Egypt and we never would have found it without him. We also went to the little-visited Alexandria National Museum which was well worth it. Unlike many other museums in Egypt it had detailed explanations for exhibits. Don't miss the tomb downstairs (it is somewhat hidden - we almost missed the staircase). Highly recommend this trip!

        Jan 2020 • Family
My family and I were fortunate enough to have been paired with Mohammad Hussein for our tour of Islamic Cairo and tourist bazaar. He was very knowledgeable of the history of Egypt and was confidentially able to answer all our questions all while keeping us engaged in the conversation. Both his English and Arabic were very fluent which was perfect for us because we had group members that preferred to converse in English and others that preferred to converse in Arabic. He accommodated all our needs and was exceptionally friendly, personable, and welcoming of us. Additionally, he helped us navigate the overwhelmingly busy bazaar and took us into stores who sold souvenirs and merchandise at a very affordable rate. He took us to a famous coffee shop within the bazaar where we were able to drink Turkish coffee and further discuss the rich history of Egypt. The tour was incredible and sites we visited were breathtaking. We were very pleased with this tour and highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring Old Cairo!
