        Incredible
We had an amazing experience with our tour guide at the Pyramids of Giza! She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing detailed stories about the history and significance of everything. She made the tour engaging and took great care of the group, ensuring we were comfortable and had plenty of time for photos. Her passion for Egypt’s history truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommend!

        Egyptian Museum, Cairo
Excellent historical museum, good for children and family, located in the city itself. This is a very huge museum, will couple of hours to see everything.

        King Tut
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is where you can see King Tut's gold burial mask -- though you can not take pictures of it. There is actually a guy standing beside it who will make you delete any images of it on your camera. When we visited with our tour group it was very busy with many people strolling about.

        So much History
We enjoyed visiting the Museum, there‘s so much history there. Come early because there‘s no air conditioning in the building.

Check if the ticket system is okay before you drive all the way to Memphis
The drive from Cairo to Memphis can be quite time-consuming due to constant traffic jams. In Memphis, there is a small open-air museum, which might be a bit underwhelming compared to the grand pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza. However, we decided to drive to Memphis, only to be told at the entrance that the electronic ticket system had broken down. No option to pay with a card. Fortunately (or so we thought), we had cash with us, so we could just pay the entrance fee that way, right? But no - it HAD to be with a card. So the whole drive was in vain. As we looked through the fence surrounding the area, to our "delight," we could see that we hadn't missed much. What a waste of time - thanks for nothing!

The Egyptian Museum V the museum of civilisation in Cairo.
If like us you are wondering about the Egyptian museum V the museum of civilisation then 100% the Egyptian museum. We went to both and the museum of civilisation is within a spacious area and very modern but fairly sparse really. The Egyptian museum is atmospheric and full of archeological wonders such as Tutankhamen and many artefacts.

5***** the most knowledgable and lovely guide.
Thank you so much to Hannah for the most wonderful trip to Cairo. Travelling as a woman alone with a child so made us feel so welcome and safe even when we had some trouble over tips. I wouldn’t travel with anyone else. Thank you so much Hannah.

        Excellent!
Absolutely stuffed with artifacts, history, stones--everything you could want to see and learn about Egyptian history. Unexpected bonus was King Tut sarcophagus and artifacts--made my brother-in-law's day! Many areas where you are allowed to take photos--only disappointment was the disrespect some tourists showed when requested NOT to take photos, and they did. Huge place--take your time as not to miss anything!

        An Impressive Display
An excellent collection of Egyptian artifacts. However, at the time we visited, thousands of pieces had been transferred to the new, soon to be opened, Grand Egyptian-Museum. That said, there was still more than enough to see. What was slightly disappointing was the fact that the museum is starting to show its age and a number of display cases were in poor condition. The crowds with their tour guides were a bit overwhelming on times so you need to pick your time if you can. The artefacts from the tomb of King Tutankhamun are of course stunning but there are some other wonderful pieces from the Royal Tombs at Tanis.

        A week in Egypt!
Hanan was a great contact and guide for our week in Egypt including Cairo and Luxor. She was professional and knowledgeable, and most of all she was fun to be around. We went to Saqqara, the Pyramids, Coptic Cairo, the bazaar, camel rides, ATV trips along with other experiences. We had a great time. She was always on time and took care of all the work of buying tickets and making sure we had a good experience. We were tired from our flight and she willingly changed our schedule at our request so that we could rest on our first day. She was recommended to me by a friend who had used her previously, and I have to agree that she does a very good job!
