Outstanding end to end service. We arranged a private tour which include airport door to door pickup at both ends of our Cairo break. We had Maii as our guide for two days who was bright, engaging and hugely knowledgeable (also fantastic and helpful with our two small children. Big shout out to Ahmed our driver as well who was helpful and courteous at all times) We felt totally looked after, safe and secure at all times in a very big and noisy city which was really important for us with our children. I think our trip was made so special and the experience so curated to our personal preferences because we used this company, which came from a friends recommendation. I don’t even know where to begin or how to fully express with mere words the thoughts and feelings and awe about the experience I had with Live Egypt Tours. I feel their name says it all, and I truly did get to “live” Egypt. Mai brought so much life to her detailed and incredibly insightful explanations of each site we visited, both on the way to each wondrous location and while we were there. She’d cue up information and context in our minds to prepare us for what we were about to see and its significance culturally and historically, so that when we arrived, we had clarity. Mai and her team handle every detail of the journey, even the behind the scenes stuff like travel visas and compliance with all the regulations that a foreigner like myself is ignorant of. I merely had to show up there and every single thing was handled. When a need would arise unexpectedly (like when I needed a new shaver 😳), Maro and Vanya would see to it that we all had whatever we needed. When my honey ended up needing medical attention, the team arranged for a doctor to come to our room to examine him. Remember the movie The Princess Bride and Westley saying, “as you wish”? Well I’m not exaggerating. They do it all and with the most genuine smile and reassurance that nothing is out of reach to ensure their guests feel not only welcome to their astounding country, but also throughly feel equipped to fully enjoy it knowing they are safe and cared for every step of the way. We guests were able to taste and see and hear and consume Egypt and all its glory and not worry about anything else. They book all the very best resorts and transportation so there’s obvious luxury to the trip, but they also know all the hidden local gems so you can really feel why it’s like to eat, walk, and live like an Egyptian. I’ve been on many tours in my life because I have a strong sense of wanderlust. Many guides can spew facts about a location, but few capture the heart and magic and wonder of it along with the facts the way that Live Egypt Tours does. I can’t say enough good things. This was the first time joining a guided tour with a group. Live Egypt Tours is everything my husband and I needed. All of the attractions with pick up and drop off were planned and executed without any hiccups. Even though I am sure behind the scene they were moving mountains, to us everything was seamless. This trip was jammed pack with lots of activities. The tombs and museums, camel ride, hot air balloon, shopping, snorkeling and deep sea diving.(escorted on a private vessel) Amazingly delicious food and relaxing at the best resorts. Lots of love and respect to the all star team of Vanya ,Mai, and Maro. I will be using this service in the future and recommend to anyone wishing to travel to Egypt for a vacation.

The amount of activities and attention to details that were included for this trip were top notch!! And the cost— so affordable, we can travel yearly!! Maii- our Egyptologist was well spoken and extremely knowledgeable of every single museum, mosque, temple and adventure we toured. Vanya- out did herself! She knew all the touristy spot! Pyramids, cotton store, oil dispensary, gold store, 3 day Nile cruise, and spice store; just to name a few. She ensured they aligned with the culture and the execution was perfection. And Maro— oh Maro, such a vibe!! He ensured everything ran smoothly and that everyone was happy. I appreciate Vanya, Maii & Maro so very much!! See you next year Habibi’s!

This has been an interesting and fun experience. We were well catered and taken care of. This was well worth it and exceeded my expectations. For all who are thinking of taking a vacation, I will recommend that you consider this trip.

Our hosts were very welcoming and excited to show myself and my girlfriend around the beautiful state of Arizona. I can only imagine going to Egypt with the same crew.. what an amazing experience that would be! Anyway, five stars to is way too little to rate this trip, and I'd like to express sincere thanks to our tour guide Vanya for making this the experience of a lifetime. There was so much to see (and do) that I didn't know existed in Arizona. From visiting Slide Rock State Park in Sedona, to shooting guns at the range, we had a BLAST! Our days were packed with fun-filled activity that had us starving for more... so each time we topped off with some of the best food from the area! Everything was smooth sailing and comfortable with no inconveniences... almost as if it was planned before I even knew I was going. Unfortunately, my only regret is that I should've stayed longer! Great adventures, awesome food, and genuine people. What a vacation! 1000% recommend.

We came to Egypt with our two teenage boys - we fully enjoyed and learned so much! We had a great experience with Maii - a fantastic, knowledgeable guide with perfect English and the most lovely way about her. The pyramids, mythology, history and meaning all came alive for us. We would highly recommend Maii to our friends.

Our tour isn’t listed as it was customised to our preferences and abilities. The preparation certainly took a lot of patience from the tour organisers but they were terrific. We were offered many different and amazing things to see and try, we mixed up with the locals and immersed ourselves in the culture. All our tour guides have been absolutely brilliant, but our visit in Alexandria was very special thanks to Maro Saeed, who showed us the famous Egyptian hospitality. We had a one day tour with Maii Saeed as our guide to visit Dahshour, Memphis & Sakkara. Maii was the most knowledgeable, courteous and skilled. Her command of the English language is top-rated. Her connection with each individual of our group (of 11) was amazing. I would hire Maii again and again. I highly recommend her & Live Egypt Tours.

Amgad was waiting for us in Aswan and a magical trip started. Amgad became our friend and specially a big friend of our 11 years old kid. He answered to all his questions (and were really a lot), taught him how to dance Egyptian style, how to dress as an Egyptian, what to eat, Egyptian words. We had Amgad just for us so it was perfect, the plans were adapted to our requests and discussed previously. We visited all the principle temples and heard all the stories about that those. We were always on time and did a good use of time, day by day. Amgad knew the best spots, the best entrances, and let us walk as far as we wanted making sure that we were having fin and that who could disturb us would not do it. But in a really nice way, we could talk to everyone but when too much, with just a gesture, Amgad would ask for space. Amgad also took us to eat a “simple” falafel on the street where locals eat, and was so good! He took pictures of us, pictures with us, singing and dancing with us. We took the Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor where we said goodbye to Amgad. We really recommend Amgad.

Our family decided to visit Egypt for the kids' winter break. Live Egypt generated a customized iternary for us, based on our needs and preferences. It was so perfect for families with young kids. We had a wonderful time touring all the ancient Egyptian marvels with Maii. She did wonders with our kids, keeping them engaged and teaching them all about ancient Egypt. Besides Maii, all the other contacts we had with Live Egypt were extremely pleasant, Maro (the main coordinator), Mustafa (our driver for majority of the time) etc. I highly recommend Live Egypt to anyone who is expecting a smooth and fun Egyptian vacation.

I have only ever heard of Alexandria from my last trip with Maii Saeed. This time they made it happen. Going to Alexandria was amazing, it’s like going to a totally different country really. The weather was perfect, the crash of the waves from the Mediterranean, the beautiful, peaceful castle and of course the award winning Library. I also had the pleasure of doing a good tour! Maro was the best!!! Extremely patient, gives lots of variations of foods to try. He also has a good vibe, making the experience exciting. He really knows the good spots - fresh fish, a liver sandwich (don’t judge until you try it), Shawarma, coffee at the oldest coffee shop and the best chocolate croissant ever (I ate all before I took a pic). Hands down one of the best experiences of my lifetime.

The trip to Dahshour, Memphis and Saqqara was exceptionally good. We were guided by Mrs Maii Saeed who is both a very knowledgeable Egyptologist and a highly skilled guide. Our family group of 11 had members ranging in age between 4 and 80 years! She was, most admiringly able to hold their attention for the long explanations of history, site geography, and interpretation of events some of which took place over 4000 years ago. Her charming skill in mixing the present with the long past, the personal memories with Egyptologist theories captured every body’s attention. Our driver was exceptionally skilled, very courteous and most helpful too. This reviewer will be delighted to come back for more!

I thoroughly recommend this tour. My guide, Sara, was knowledgable on all aspects of the Pyramids Complex and more so on the must-see exhibits in the Egyptian Museum. I was picked up from my hotel on time, my car was clean and appeared well maintained. I was driven to Giza, my entry ticket was provided to me and Sara brought me all over the complex, including a spot where I could gaze over all three main Pyramids on my own. Believe me, finding a spot where you are alone in Giza is next to impossible. She got me into the complex early enough to beat the main crowd too. I was even offered a camel ride! From Giza I was driven to the Egyptian Museum in Tahir Square. Please note that at the time of writing the museum contents are in the process of being moved to the magnificent new Grand Egyptian Museum - Sara will offer a choice depending on what you want to see. I wanted to see King Tut's treasures, especially the iconic Death Mask so it was the Old Museum for me. NOTE: you are strictly prohibited from photographing the treasures. Don't be a dick like some people and try sneak a picture, the security guys will not take it lightly. Again, I highly recommend this tour, you will feel safe, informed and respected.
