Amazing Tour! We had Paula as our Guide & could not have been happier with our experience. We chose the base hotel & it was clean, safe & spacious. Our driver was impressive! The driving in Egypt takes skill & this man had it. Very grateful for these 2 men for their safe travels & informative knowledge of sites, town & culture. Would definitely book again when returning to Egypt.

We had an excellent time on our trip to Cairo and Alexandria. We got to see and experience all the bucket list things we wanted to see. Ramasside took care of us the whole way! Paula our guide knows his stuff and was a great person with a wonderful personality. He went out of his way to go places we requested in order for our trip to be successful.

Our tour was good. We were lucky to get to the Pyramids on the first day since the second day tours were fogged out. Amir and our drivers did a great job. My husband was thrilled to have a life long dream fulfilled.

Ramses Tours has failed to facilitate reimbursement for two scheduled full-day tours despite its 100% satisfaction guarantee and cancelation policies. Our cruise ship never docked due to the unfortunate conflict in the area and Ramses Tours was notified immediately. They have failed to make reimbursement (of several hundred US dollars) for two tours despite repeated requests and have blamed their own Accounting Department, their credit card company provider as well as our credit card provider. They have provided meaningless information in the form of "screen shots" that allegedly "prove" reimbursement has been authorized however our credit card company has no record of receipt. Clearly an untrustworthy company.

We booked an overnight in Cairo as a shore excursion. Our ship was unable to dock in Alexandria and therefore our tour to Giza and overnight in Cairo was canceled. We immediately requested a refund from Ramses and despite repeated attempts they have not issued our refund. Other tours refunded our monies immediately. As another reviewer stated,Ramses will not refund your sizeable deposit so be willing to lose it if plans change and it is out of your control.

We were on the Celebrity Apex which had the ports of Haifa and Ashdod Israel cancelled as well as Alexandria, Egypt being cancelled. As soon as we were notified that these ports were cancelled we notified the operators of all of the excursions which were affected. We received prompt refunds from all companies except Ramses Tours. We had paid for the extra "insurance" coverage to make sure our funds weren't at risk and they were notified well before any deadline might have passed. As of this review I have exchanged 25 emails with Haitham Masoud of their operations department and only received email giving lies claiming the refunds are already given! They have refused to refund over $1000.00 and attach files to the emails which mean nothing in order to show they have refunded. We have had to turn to our credit card company in order to get our funds returned from these THIEVES! This is the last reply we received from Haitham Masoud;We have done the refund and attached the receipt and the refund confirmation I sent before. There is nothing else from our side we can do. Some times refunds take longer times Please contact your bank or your credit card company and if they didn’t receive it yet we urge you to ask them to claim it immediately. You may present this official acknowledgement to your bank to facilitate the refund claim with your credit card company in case it’s still not reflected on your card" LEARN FROM OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THEM AND DO NOT TRUST THEM!

It was a great experience. Saw all the important sites, but the highlight was Citadel of Quaitbay, where the Lighthouse was placed and ofcourse the Mediterranean Sea.

Beware when booking with Ramses, their "guarantee" of not needing to pay until the end of the tour is not true. They required us to make a 40% deposit for a tour booking for a cruise ship excursion. Unfortunately, our itinerary was changed and the ship no longer stopped in Egypt. While all of our other tour guides (including those in Israel) promptly issued refunds, Ramses has failed to refund us our deposit. I've booked numerous excursions with numerous tour companies over the years and have never had to write a bad review. However, my experience with Ramses has been so bad that I had to write this review to warn any future travelers. Any promises of satisfaction guaranteed and no need to pay if your itinerary changes are all not true. Consider any deposit paid to Ramses forfeited if your plans change. I would highly recommend looking for another tour guide that is much more trustworthy.

Trip to Alexandria is a great trip that hits all the highpoints. Paula was a great guide and was able to quickly get us through all the sites while also giving us free time to explore. Would recommend for a day trip from Cairo.

We took the shore excursion from Alexandria to Cairo with tour Guide Paula. He did an excellent job and kept us well Informed. We toured the Egyptian Museum and then had a boat cruise on a traditional Nile Falluka. Then we had lunch and toured the Pyramids of Giza. Overall, we had a fabulous time and were well taken care of. Highly recommend as an alternative to the high priced cruise ship excursion.

A+++. I booked this kinda last minute. The guide was lovely, on time, so full of amazing information, she was charming, funny and tough! Off we went. Super nice car, a miracle worker of a driver, and a super fun and exciting day. I was so happy worth the service of this agency. You will be too!

After going to Egypt on a private tour with Ramasside Tours, I would highly recommend them. I enjoy private tours because it’s more intimate, you can get to know your guide and driver. You can also leave a suitcase in the trunk. I’d like to recommend Ayob (our guide) and the driver. Although in Egypt you might see crowded cities that need some cleaning up, the people of Egypt make up for that with their kindness and willingness to teach you about the life there. You will be amazed when you arrive at the pyramid complex. You’re welcomed by many dogs that live on the premises and are tagged. There are peddlers around the area. But they are respectful and say “have a nice day” if you’re not interested in purchasing trinkets from them. Take your time at the pyramids, there is so much to see. There is a panoramic area that we drove to and hopped on the camels for some great pictures. Ayob brought us to a place to eat lunch that was a traditional style. We absolutely loved it! Then we also went to a beautiful bazaar for shopping and my husband and I both bought Cartouches. Our driver took us all the way back to Port Said at the end of our tour. My husband and I used AirTags. We kept one with us and one stayed on our ship to help the driver locate the exact location. Start your tour early because of the long drives. I hope this review helps others!

We had an amazing walking food tour in Alexandria with Mahmoud! He is so friendly & knowledgeable! He lives Alexandria & was born here. He knows the best places in Alexandria to get authentic Egyptian food. We (my husband, college aged daughter & myself) were looking for a dinner tour & it was great! Doing a walking dinner tour in downtown Alexandria was perfect! We didn't have to deal with traffic or parking & it was nice to walk between the various courses of food! I highly recommend Mahmoud! He Ramasside Tours were great from the beginning with messaging via Whats App, accommodating our time requested, being on time to meet us at our hotel & taking us to amazing food locations! Thank you, Mahmoud, for a fantastic introduction to Egyptian food!

The guide, Amir, picked us up on time outside the port gates. Amir was friendly, knowledgeable and asked us questions to ensure we had a wonderful tour. Amir helped ensure we were safe at the pyramids and coordinated our camel and our horse drawn cart rides. Our lunch and boat ride on the Nile were awesome. We returned to our ship on time.
