Sara Yasser was our private English tour guide for the great pyramids of Giza, Cairo and Alexandria. Our first tour in Egypt started with her and she set the precedence for the rest of our trip!
Her knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the Pharaonic Era is admirable, as well as her friendly, considerate, kind and feisty personality <3 Her positive energy is so strong that we became friends instantly and hope to remain as lifelong friends :)
Sara is an Egyptologist who strives to teach visitors everything there’s to know about the ancient Egyptian world. She’s flexible and tailors the tours according to one’s interests. In addition to Giza pyramids, she also offers tours in Sakkara, Memphis, etc. You just have to let her know your goal for the trip and she will make it happen. She elaborately answered any questions we had, taught us to read hieroglyphics and patiently repeated any information we wanted to know and we wanted to know it all! Unlike some others in the area, she is not pushy at all, which we greatly appreciated. She is very good at explaining local customs and culture, which was truly helpful and she makes sure tourists/ visitors are not harassed by vendors, etc, which we were thankful for as well. She is familiar with all the local hot spots and we loved all her recommendations.
Last but not least, she’s an amazing photographer and helped to capture magical moments from our first trip to Egypt! Highly recommend Sara Yasser to anyone who’s looking to book an unforgettable trip to Egypt!

During my official trip to one of the neighboring countries of Egypt in Africa, I planned a stop over in Egypt for 3 days. Since i was a solo traveller, I approached Jakada if they could plan a 3 days personal tour in Egypt for myself alone. Jacob and team planned and shared a reasonable itinerary. I was lucky enough to have Sara as my Tour guide for the first two days and then Haithom as a tour guide for a third day. Sara is a very energetic, knowledgeable and friendly person. Since I was alone Sara took all the pictures with pleasure. Jacob, who leads the team, is very honest and helpful. One good example is, I missed my opportunity to visit Alexandra Library due to conflict with other schedules but Jacob voluntarily compensated the Library trip fee with an equivalent trip so that I didn't overpay anything. Haitham is more of a friend than a guide. I am confident that Jakada will do anything and everything within their limit, legal and reasonable to satisfy their customers. Tour with Jakada is like a family trip and highly recommended. Keemu and his brother Ashram both are great drivers and gave me a comfortable ride in and out of Cairo and all the way till Alexandra. Wishing Jakada and the team every success in the years to come !!

While in Cairo, we had the pleasure of having Muhammad as our tour guide. He met us at our hotel on our first day and ensured we were taken care of with our room waiting for us, some snacks and prepared us for the next day of ATV riding near the pyramids. Day two we had the pleasure yo get to know him as he showed us Egypt! The museum, pyramids, lunch and shopping made the day a full experience. Muhammad is so knowledgeable, patient and ensured we knew where to go for great photo opportunities!!! He made our day completely about us and we enjoyed every bit of it!!!! Thank you Muhammad and Jakada for ensuring our first time in Egypt was everything we could hope for and more! This will not be our last time!! 10 out of 10 for Muhammad and Jakada Tours!!

An amazing trip with top-notch customer service. I specifically requested to book with Ahmed Fayed. I found him through various Facebook groups highlighting Egypt. I contacted him through Messenger and we talked about what I wanted to do and see while in Cairo. He provided me with the link to book through Jakada Tours. From there I spoke with Jacob and booked. From beginning to end, Ahmed was in constant communication with me ensuring he had all my travel information, hotel information, etc.
Upon arrival, the arrival rep was not at the location however after paying for our Visa and double backing we located him. The drive from the hotel was smooth and Ahmed was on the phone checking in with me and coordinating the pickup time for the day as we were hitting the ground running after checking in to our hotel.
Each day, Ahmed was on time to pick us up from our hotel at the agreed pickup time. He was extremely knowledgeable about each site that we visited. He also provided caution to not speak to sellers in the streets, don't accept or take anything, and not to give our phone or camera to anyone except him. That bit of information was extremely helpful and tampered down the street selling.
Ahmed also helped to translate and negotiate prices when shopping. He remained flexible as we changed or crossed items off our itineraries. And he remained extremely calm and patient as we dragged him from shop to shop because what else do 2 women together like to do...shop! Lol.
His personality was very easy going and he often joined in the ribbing and joking that I did with my travel colleague. He is witty and has an awesome sense of humor. But more importantly, he is compassionate. I witnessed him on more than one occasion go into his pocket and give to people on the streets.
Every place he took us to for lunch was AMAZING! I was worried about it because I have friends who kept telling me that they didn't like the food in Egypt when they went. But I can honestly say, I did not have one bad meal that was coordinated by Ahmed. And that is surprising because I am a picky eater but I ate everything lol.
Ahmed was also very helpful with picking the right spot to take pictures and how to avoid/beat the crowds which we were extremely happy about.
Last bit of information, our driver was also named Ahmed. But I affectionately have named him Vin Diesel 2.0!! His driving is top tier!! But I will warn you, drivers in Egypt are crazy!! Lanes are just a mere suggestion, didn't see any traffic lights until we went to Alexandria and we spotted 2! Lol...driving and riding in Egypt is NOT for the faint of heart!! Your heart will be in your throat!! But I was extremely impressed with Ahmed's driving skills! At times I joked we were auditioning for the next Fast and Furious movie because how expertly he maneuvered in the chaotic driving that is Egypt.
I can't wait to book again to tour and visit Aswan and Luxor! I have convinced my family to go with me next time and will definitely be booking with Ahmed again!

Ahmed was an amazing tour guide!! He got us to the Museum of Egyptian Civilization before the crowds & provided us with history during the tour. Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history & shared many interesting facts. He also was a great photographer!! He took the most amazing pictures of my friend & I. It was super convenient to have a personal guide & driver the entire day. I highly recommend Ahmed, very personable & fun!

My favorite part was the Egyptian museum tour. Our guide Ahmed was super knowledgeable and really made the experience interesting and informative. I loved the trip to the Giza pyramids. Once again, we received the history of the site we were touring as well as a bunch of great pictures with amazing views of the pyramids. The shopping allowed us to buy some personalized hieroglyphic jewelry and several unique gifts to bring home to our friends and family.
Along the way we became hungry and Ahmed knew exactly where to find local foods for us to try. It was truly a remarkable experience and we owe it all to Ahmed and the tour company.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit these sites. We had a driver for the whole day and we were dropped off in front of the door at each site we visited.

I'm beyond happy I booked my dream vacation with Jakada tours! Sara was my guide and she is one of the nicest and knowledgeable person I've met so far. She was so passionate and fun to be around. She made me feel like family. This trip was something I've always wanted to do since I was a child and Sara and Jakada tours helped my dream become a reality.

Sara was fantastic! She is an amazing story teller and guide. She made the history of Egypt come alive and answered all of our many questions. I'm vegetarian and she took us to get delicious food for lunch! Highly recommend her as tour guide!
