To clarify, I didn't do the 5-day tour above; instead, Your Egypt Tours and I designed a custom itinerary to Saqqara, Dashur, the Faiyum, Alexandria, and Tanis. The whole experience was perfect, mostly due to my wonderful guide Mamdouh Ismail. Mamdouh was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and extremely helpful - often going above and beyond to make sure that I had the experience that I wanted. I recommend both Mamdouh and Your Egypt Tours very highly, you are certain to have a great time!

Our trip to Egypt was wonderful thanks to the amazing people at Your Egyptian Tours. From our very first communication with Mona (our awesome Customer Service Rep!), throughout all of our many follow-up communications and up to the final booking process, we were impressed with their thoroughness to details, helpful and prompt replies, accommodation of our special requests and professionalism on all levels. Once in Egypt, we were met with the same level of excellent service by the company representatives, skilled drivers (especially in the crazy Cairo traffic!) and extremely knowledgeable Egyptololgist guides. The St. Regis Hotel in Cairo was total luxury, and although the dahibayia boat on the Nile wasn't quite a 5-star vessel, it was very charming, extremely clean and comfortable, and our crew was exceptional in every way. Our main highlights from the trip were not only learning about the rich history and treasures of the ancient Egyptian world, but also the fun and relaxed times we shared as a small group-especially riding camels at the Great Pyramids, hot-air ballooning over the Valley of the Kings and exploring Abu Simbel. The Egyptian people are especially kind and friendly and we always felt very safe and welcomed. YET did a fabulous job putting our tour together which made it a trip we'll always remember!

Your Egypt Tours is a really well organised private tour company who are with you from the moment you land in Egypt. A gentleman named Ahmed took care of us with our international airport transfers which made everything that much easier. While in Cairo, our private tour guide uncle Mamdouh went above and beyond for us visiting various historical sites. His knowledge and information that he provided us with, were very valuable and helpful. If you are on your own you will miss out on so much. We can’t thank uncle Mamdouh enough for his service. Even when visiting Paris and Turkey we saw Egyptian monuments that uncle Mamdouh explained to us and it was like he was still with us when we saw those monuments. From the bottom of our heart we thank you uncle Mamdouh. We travelled to Aswan and were greeted by a gentleman named Mustafa to help us with our airport transfer like Ahmed did. While in Aswan and Luxor we were also looked after by our private tour guide uncle Mahmoud, a scholar amongst men. The knowledge, information and service provided by uncle Mahmoud was also top class and we can’t thank him enough for how he looked after us. The reason I am using uncle before their name is because they treated us like family. I was told by numerous people “be careful in Egypt” but with the uncles by your side you have nothing to worry about. We visited during Ramadan and both uncles were fasting yet they still have their 100% and did not skip a beat! Much love uncles! ❤️ I also have to give Peter a mention for the Cairo by night tour he did for us. He made our night tour very comfortable and stress free. Your Egypt Tours made our trip to Egypt a trip of a lifetime. We are so lucky that we picked OET to be our tour operator for our Nile cruise and our visit to Cairo. First, we gave them a laundry list of things we wanted to do and see. Mona was able to book a perfect trip for our family. We had three couples (Mom-in-Law, Dad-in-Law, Brother-in-Law and his wife, my husband, and I. Mona found us the Merit Dahabiya which was absolutely lovely, and I highly recommend EVERYONE taking a Nile cruise to do so on Merit Dahabiya. Mona was also able to build out an itinerary that satisfied everyone on the trip. Upon arriving in Luxor, we were provided with our guide, Ash. We were *so lucky* to have Ash as our guide. Ash has an unending wealth of knowledge when touring the sites and patience for days. Admittedly, our group of six can be a lot like herding cats. Two of us want all history, two want the best picture spots, one wants to shop, while one wants to curb the shopping (🤣). Ash was able to provide everyone with a little of what they wanted and kept our crew moving while providing enough time to experience Egypt the way we all wanted. I was really sad to have the cruise portion of the trip end. From Aswan, we went back to Cairo. *Our cruise was from Luxor to Aswan. We flew into Luxor from Cairo and out of Aswan to Cairo. In Cairo, we decided we wanted to add a trip to Saqqara and Memphis last minute. Your Egypt Tours was able to book our ideal day (GEM, Saqqara, Memphis, Civilization Museum) with a true diamond of a guide, Iman. Iman may be Egypt's greatest modern treasure. The way she communicated the history and importance of the sites we saw is true magic. Somewhere between a history lesson, slam poetry, and an award-winning docudrama, Iman delivered Egyptian history and connected it to my soul. I was so happy to have her, and our family is still in awe of how well the whole day was presented. We knew we had something special when everyone working at the different historical sites and museums would tell us, "You have the best tour guide in Egypt," and we couldn't agree more. Our family has traveled together to many places (India, Nepal, France, England, Peru, Italy, China, etc.), and few times has it been as great as this time. Your Egypt Tours has exceeded our expectations with personal customer service from the time we contacted Mona in operations to the last day of our 17-day private tour. Mono was in immediate contact with me after each question or change request made by our family in the planning process. She personalized the tour to our specific dates of available travel, our specific dietary requirements, and our wishes to see and experience the historical and cultural sites in Jordan and Egypt. The most amazing thing was the flexibility of the tour during the tour to add or change excursions on a days’ notice through the direct contacts of the Egyptologist guides and operation specialists. All our accommodations arranged by Mona were rated 5 stars by USA standards with guaranteed gluten free options at all dining experience in the included hotel dining as well as local dining arranged by our private Egyptologists. In Jordan, we were wonderfully guided to see Amman Citadel, Roman Theater, and City tour with nighttime shopping and again by Faris to Mt. Nebo, Dead Sea, little Petra as well as the city of Petra with the temple façade in the red sandstone cliffs. We Experienced the sites of Cairo Egypt for four days with an amazing Egyptologist and walking encyclopedia, Mamdouh Ismail and superiorly skilled professional driver, Ramy. 1) Visited National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where there are 24 mummies from the 18,19,20 dynasties of the royal pharaohs. We also toured the private home of Gayer Anderson. 2) Giza‘s three Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara, (step Pyramid) and burial chambers, camel ride and ancient capital of Egypt city of Memphis, with a giant fallen statue of Ramses II. We visited the Papyrus Institute, and a cotton shop for shopping. Mamdouh arranged a delicious authentic Egyptian meal for our dinner experience. 3) Egyptian Museum with King Tutankhamun gold mask, coffin, and tomb treasures. Mamdouh arranged a wonderful dining fresh seafood experience with the local fisherman and restaurant owner where we selected our fish from the daily catch. Aswan and Nile Cruise with Egyptologist Peter Tanagho 1) High Dam, Elephantine Island by motor boat to Philae temple, Hotel was on this island in the middle of the Nile. Dinner in hotel roof top Hotel 360-degree restaurant 2) Abu Simbel, Temple of Ramses II (UNESCO site) and his queen Nefatari. We took a motor boat ride to the Nubian Village in which we were invited to visit a Nubian Home by Peter explaining the lifestyle and hospitality of the Nubian people and received a henna tattoo. Nile River Cruise 4 day on M S Nile Premium. 1) Kom Ombo temple (crocodile headed God of Fertility). Also, Temple of Horus (Temple of Horus. Edfu Temple, Luxor Temple. 2) Egyptologist ASH, guided and educated us about Colossi of Memnon, Hatshbsut temple, Karnak temple, and in the Valley of Kings visiting 5 burial chambers including King Tutankhamun, Valley of Queens, Nefatari burial tomb, and Pharaoh Amen Knape whom died as a child. Hurghada 2 days at Red Sea. 1) Super Safari with 4x4 and dune buggy driving and visit to the Bedouin Village. 2) Scuba diving in the Red Sea. Back to Cairo for 3 days with Mamdouh Ismail, Peter “Parker” and Ramy driving. 1) Discover Islamic Cairo visiting old mosque, places, Al-Azhar Mosque, Mosque of Al Hakim, 2) Discover Coptic Christians life in Egypt. Hanging Church, Monastery and Church of St. George, Abu Serga where the holy family rested in a cave. And the Palace of Mohamed Ali. Private shopping and coffee in the famous el Fishawy coffee shop and Bazaar, Khan el Khalili. Cairo by night with Peter “Parker” on Felucca boat cruise, and Ramadan Break Fast farewell dinner and photo ops. 3) Cairo airport at 4 am. To fly home. Reached our home at 1:30 am the next day. I must say this is the first totally private tour I have ever booked, and it was more reasonably priced than any larger group non-flexible option I explored. Mona was able to book room accommodations for 3 throughout the tour while other tour groups refused to or were unable to do so, costing charging my daughter the higher single rates. YOUR EGYPT TOURS has spoiled us with 5-star VIP customer service and I will always check out private tour options for all future vacations.

Our Egypt tour far exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. Our guides were always on time whether it was picking us up at the airport or meeting us at the hotel to start our tour. My husband and I did a private tour which we highly recommend to get that personal experience with our guides. We had Sultan in Cairo and Ash in Luxor and Aswan. Both of these gentlemen have a wealth of knowledge and had a special way of delivering the information which made us hungry for more. If you’re traveling to Luxor and/or Aswan, you’ll want to ask for Usama as your driver. Ash and Usama was the perfect team!!! Our safety was always in good hands when we were with them. We were able to enjoy our many tours while not having to lug around our backpacks since Usama was always on watch. He truly cares about his job and takes it very seriously which we greatly appreciated. My husband and I can’t say enough good things about this company as they truly do bend over backwards to ensure that you leave Egypt with a lifetime of wonderful memories.

We had an excellent guide (Robert) and driver to see the sights of Cairo. We had worked with Your Egypt Tours in advance to customize the itinerary to our liking (added Museum of Civilization and extended duration of tour). Robert was very knowledgable about everything we asked. He paced the activities extremely well to ensure we saw everything we wanted; he was flexible if we wanted a little more or less time. Despite the chaotic traffic of Cairo, we never felt unsafe.

We had booked with an US travel agent who is working with Your Egypt Tours on our first egypt travel for my wife’s birthday. The entire team has been fantastic start to finish- from Ahmed who met us at the airport and explored Islamic Cairo with us, Mamdouh who took us to Gizah, Saqqara and Memphis and through Coptic Cairo to Ash who was with us during our Nile Cruise from Abu Simbel through Aswan, Edfu, Kom Ombo to Luxor. A great attention to detail, their expertise in designing the agenda and finding the least crowded spots and the Hotels and Cruise ship was first class. We had an amazing time. Mr Ahmed is very professional. Mr Taha is expert of the North and Mr Ashraf is a master of south Egypt knowledge. Everything was wonderful punctual and professiknal. Do not go with any other company but this if u plan to see amazing Egypt!

Thanks to Your Egypt Tours for providing us with an excellent experience on our first visit to Egypt. Everything was perfectly organized, comfortable and we felt safe the entire time. We were greeted at the airport in Cairo inside customs, and then over a series of smooth hand-offs taken care off the entire week, including hotels, cruise, transfer, and sight seeing. The guides were very knowledgeable, and this matters, because many important things here are poorly labeled, and so much of the wonder of this place is in the little details that are easy to overlook. It was nice not having to worry about any logistics and simply be taken care of. There was a good balance between very intense sight-seeing and downtime. The sights and experiences in Egypt are truly amazing, and we do highly recommend these folks for anyone contemplating a trip.
