- David A0 contributionsEasy to book, reliable and informativeWe booked this private tour online in the UK before travelling to Cairo to go down the Nile. The customer service was good and you can communicate with them by WhatsApp. The tour guides Essam and his driver arrived at the hotel on time and we discussed what we would like to achieve in the day and then set off. Essam has great knowledge of Cairo, the Kings and of Egypt. We were delighted with the service and recommend the company.Written October 12, 2024
- johnmM1475ZD0 contributionsCairo according to Nevin!!Nevin was an amazing guide and host. We saw all aspects of the tour and some from a different perspective due to her local knowledge. Seeing some of the local markets and stores was also lots of fun with no pressure to buy. One thing we really liked was while we were with her the local hagglers left us alone. We cannot thank Nevin enough.Written October 11, 2024
- 185husaina0 contributionsDay 1 (Navin Morris) - unbelievable views and experienceThis truly was an incredible experience with Navin! Picked us up exactly on time and then was completely friendly and easy to interact with from the start. Continually gave us cool bits of information about the rich culture and history in all the locations we visited without being too overwhelming. Took care of all communication with the locals and anything to get us into the museums and attractions. Have use suggestions to update the itinerary if we wanted to and all her suggestions were fantastic and improved the experience (we went to eat at a location with a. Full view of all 9 pyramids which was mesmerizing)! We also went to a few other locations after our day itinerary was over which she didn’t have to do and it was another amazing experience. Seeing old mosques and mausoleums which we didn’t even intend or know of but turned out to be some of the most memorable parts of our trip! There is so much more to say but this truly was an incredible experience and we are very excited for the coming up days even more. Thank you Navin and highly recommended!!!Written October 10, 2024

- 999vincentz0 contributionsCairo private tour experienceI had a wonderful experience with the tour guide Nashat and the driver Mohamed. The driver came right on time to pick me up in the hotel, he welcomed with me and we had a happy chat along the way to see the Pyramids. The tour guide is good at ancient Egyptian history and taking photos! They provided the lunch food to me, the food they eat everyday, which is great experience to have a sense of how locals live in the city. The guide seems to know everybody in the attractions, and he took care of me regarding the hassles. He even gave the small money to me for the toilet since I didn’t have the cash. The final stop is the Egyptian museum, a great experience and well worth to revisit in future. They drop me off at the train station and bid farewell. They treated me as a good friend. Thanks for the service and I recommend the private guided tour.Written October 4, 2024
- Jon N0 contributionsIncredible tourNevin and her team are fantastic. I just spent two days with her visiting the pyramids, all the museums, Saqara and the bazaar in old town. She is incredibly knowledge of all Egyptian history from ancient current and knows all the locals. No lines, easy access to everything and she is flexible as your interests change. Can’t possibly highly recommend. Plan on bringing my family back for a full week bike cruise with her team.Written October 4, 2024

- 521georgev0 contributionsThe wonderful Cairo tour with an outstandingly efficient guide. The tour in Cairo was really an enriching experience especially the visit to pyramids and the iconic sphinx. The tour guide Nevin Morris organized this private tour very professionally and efficiently. She has a remarkable knowledge about various tour sites and an astonishingly effective way of imparting that knowledge to us. In fact what we learned about the Egyptian culture , archeology and art owe greatly to Nevin. She was also very helpful in handling our basic logistical requirements and took care of us very well. We strongly recommend her as a very efficient tour guide and manager regarding Cairo tours. We wish her and her company the best.Written October 2, 2024

I had wanted to visit Egypt for many years and Nevin has provided me with the perfect introduction to Cairo over my past two visits.
On my first visit I didn’t have much time due to it being a short trip, but Nevin organised a quad bike tour around the desert by the Pyramids of Giza at sunset which was an incredible and unique experience. On my second visit I had longer so I booked a full day tour which included a visit to the pyramids (close enough to touch), a look inside the tomb of Queen Hetepheres, a look around the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. For anyone who’s fascinated by Ancient Egypt, this is a must do! You’ll be in awe in every direction you turn.
In the afternoon Nevin took us to a wonderful perfumery where we were introduced to some stunning fragrances (which is more of an experience than a “hard sell”). The day concluded with a visit to the Egyptian Museum and Nevin provided us with detailed commentary regarding the many beautiful artefacts. Doing this with a guide is invaluable because you will learn and see more than if you went by yourself.
I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Nevin again and she has my full recommendation to anyone visiting Cairo. She is personable, knowledgeable and considerate. Some others will try to compete with “cheaper” prices but beware of this because they’re not a proper tour. if you want someone qualified and invested in making your time special then Nevin is the best guide to choose.

my recent day tour to the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum with Deluxe Tours Egypt surpassed all expectations and left me awe-inspired. From the seamless booking process to the expertly crafted itinerary, every aspect of this tour was nothing short of exceptional.
The day began with a prompt and comfortable pick-up from my hotel. The friendly and knowledgeable guide introduced themselves and provided an overview of the day's adventure, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable experience.
First stop, the Giza Pyramids! As the iconic structures loomed into view, I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement. The guide masterfully navigated us through the complex, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and mythology surrounding these ancient wonders. The opportunity to stand in the shadows of the Great Pyramid and witness the enigmatic Sphinx up close was a surreal moment, evoking a profound sense of wonder and respect for the ancient civilization.
After an enjoyable lunch break at a local restaurant, we continued our journey to the renowned Egyptian Museum. The guide skillfully curated the exhibits, shedding light on the remarkable artifacts and stories preserved within its walls. Their passion for Egyptology was evident, as they vividly recounted tales of pharaohs, mummies, and treasures that span millennia.

A sincere thank you to Mohamed Gods for making our first day in Egypt one that we will forever remember with a big smile. He was our guide for a tour of Giza and Sakkara pyramids, and truly exceeded our expectations. He arrived on time, was friendly, engaged, and engineered a perfect day of touring for us. It is also clear that he is very passionate about the extraordinary history of his country, and this passion shone through all day. He is actually currently completing a Master’s degree in Egyptology. His English is excellent, and his humour and good nature are evident.
I must also mention our excellent driver Karim, who navigated Cairo’s daunting traffic with skill and ease, ‘filling the gap’ and always magically appearing right on time to make our day an efficient and hassle-free one.
Lunch was as excellent and memorable.
Mohamed went out of his way to fill our special requests, and made sure we did not miss anything. Notably, he also knew exactly where to suggest for the best vantage points for photographs, and is also skilled at setting up and executing some fun shots that managed to impress my Tik Tok-generation children. While this never occurred to me as important in a tour guide, not having to worry about capturing the day with the best photos possible actually made a big difference to our ability to be in the moment during our tour.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mohamed to anyone looking for an exceptional tour experience, and we will most definitely seek him out if we are ever lucky enough to return to Cairo.

This tour was everything we imagined it to be and more. Our guide Barsoum was in contact with me the day prior to make sure everything was set up, and we had originally planned to start at 8am, but due to arriving on a late flight the day before our tour he suggested a later start and accommodated us to start at 9:30. Barsoum is very educated and passionate about Egypt, which made for a great day. Badr was an excellent driver and got us to each location safely and efficiently in the crazy Egypt traffic. We started the tour with a visit to the Great Pyramids, and enjoyed a long camel ride around the pyramids to the Sphinx. Then we were taken to 3 Pyramids Papyrus Institute where we learned the history and process of making papyrus paper, which was a neat experience. After, we went to Oasis Arromatherapy where we learned about different oils and perfumes. Memphis was a quick stop, and then we headed to Saqqara to see the step pyramid. At the end of the tour, we were taken to a restaurant near the Saqqara pyramid, enjoying a traditional Egyptian meal, where they brought the food to us immediately upon being seated due to Barsoum calling ahead and placing the order. If we had to change anything it would be that we didn’t get “lunch” as advertised in the tour details until 5pm, luckily we brought some of our own snacks, otherwise it would’ve been rough. For planning purposes, we got picked up at 9:30am and were dropped off at 7pm. It was a long day, but one we will never forget!

From the hotel pick up until the end of our tour, this was a perfect day. I couldn’t ask for anything more on a dream trip to see ancient Egypt during my short trip to Cairo. In addition to exploring all of the bucket list sites on the itinerary (Giza pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, Alabaster Sphinx, Step pyramid and Sakkara), my guide Nevine truly brought all aspects of life in Egypt alive for me. I learned so much about the culture, geography, history, food and art. She expertly interspersed local coffee breaks, artisan demonstrations, shopping and food in with the sightseeing. Also, I’ve never met a tour guide with a better sense of a photo opp and willingness to play expert photographer. You’ll capture the best pictures of all the sites and have a ton of special and fun pictures of yourself as well. Nevine gets to know you and actively adapts the standard tour to match up with your interests and touring style. You couldn’t ask for a better itinerary and guide when you come to visit!

Nevin is the best tour guide I ever had, I highly recommend her, it is the third time I am doing a tour with her and I will repeat for sure. She is very knowledgeble about Ancient Egyptian culture and she can read hieroglyphics! She is the best at taking pictures and videos that will become your memories for life! You will feel very safe with her. Go to Saqqara with her, she will show you the most beautiful area of Cairo, pyramids, tombs, palm trees in a beautiful desert... Ride the camel called Mickey Mouse and the Donkey called Whisky. Go get your lotus flower oil to smell like Cleopatra. You feel like you go back in time, feeling like Isis goddess around the pyramids and surrounded by hieroglyphics!

From beginning to end, the tour was exceptional. Nevin promptly picked us up at 9:30 am from the St Regis hotel, driving us to Giza while providing informative commentary and patiently answering our numerous questions. Throughout the day, she remained by our side, offering valuable advice on navigating the site's vendors and shielding us from unwanted attention. Nevin captured breathtaking photographs and tailored the entire experience to suit our preferences. As a delightful conclusion, we enjoyed a boat ride on the way back to our hotel, taking advantage of the excellent weather and stunning views.
For my first time in Egypt, I highly recommend requesting Nevin; she ensures excellent care and support. This tour surpassed all of my expectations, and I enthusiastically endorse Nevin. I look forward to reaching out to her for additional tours on my next visit to Cairo.

Wow! I highly recommend Marco for a high quality experience. This tour was as complete an experience as you can get in 8 hours!! My guide Marco was extraordinary and gave me so much information on the history, artwork including the statues and paintings. The driver Mohammed, took us downtown where we got out and walked throughout Cairo, looking at so many beautiful churches and architectural examples. Every stop along the way was exceptional! Again, Marco was great at describing the history of the Pyramids and churches. I would say that this tour was worth every dollar, not only for the quality but for the flexibility in deciding what was most important for me to see in such short time. Can't wait to return to Cairo and do more tours with them again!

Great tour with our tour guide Morsi. We Picked up early in the morning Took amazing photos at the Giza pyramids and learned all about them. Morsi was great a dealing with locals and making sure we weren’t scammed out of our money. Then we went to the Sphinx and learned about its history. Lunch was exceptional. Traditional Egyptian food and learned a lot about the origins of the step pyramids and the great architect/doctor Imhotep. Had some great photos with statues of Ramses II. We were offered sugar cane juice on the way back to round off the trip. Overall was a great experience with an amazing guide and driver. Car was clean and the AC helped keep us comfortable! Should be a part of everyone’s itinerary.

The tour was very well planned. Our guide, Essam was knowledgeable and shared the information with great passion. We were short on time and had elderly people with us yet he was able to adjust to our needs. On the whole this was a very good and memorable tour and would highly recommend this tour and Essam as a guide.
