    BEST. TOUR. GUIDE. COMPANY. EVER.
Don't even bother looking at other tour companies, because please trust me when I say, this is the one you need to use, hands down. I never, ever write reviews, but I had to this time because this company 100% deserves the recognition. They completely exceeded my expectations. Nevine and Victor were our guides and they are truly THE BEST OF THE BEST. Not only are they both very nice people, and incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about every site we visited, they both also went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we had the time of our lives, and they absolutely succeeded. You can really feel how much they care about what they do. If I could give them 500 stars, I would. 5 stars are not nearly enough stars to give for the quality of service our group received. Note: all the pics I shared were taken by Nevine. So not only is she a wonderful guide, she's also an awesome photographer.

Authentic safe tour made to feel like family
Can’t express how good this tour was we got to see a side to Egypt you can’t get any other way, Nevin was an amazing guide always making us feel safe as there are always people trying to take advantage of tourists but she keeps them at bay and takes you around to her loverly friends and go don’t take advantage. We got the royal treatment the food was great the sights were great and overall a fun safe experience would 100% recommend to everyone travelling to Cairo

Fabulous tour of the pyramids and museum.
Mohamed was clearly a very well educated and knowledgeable guide. We were given detailed history and he was able to answer any questions. Visiting the pyramids was totally amazing! We were told everything we needed to know about when how and why. He even took photographs for us. The lunch he bought for us was absolutely delicious. I really did enjoy the museum. Mohamed spent time with us in there to point out the important things then allowed us time on our own to see things that we wanted to see. I can't think of anything negative, although the stops at the local factories to see how papyrus paper and natural essence are made are in effect a very hard sell which is difficult to leave without making a purchase. In fairness to Mohamed he did offer to leave this place early if we didn't want to go in. He was a superb guide and we were very happy with the tour. I also have to mention the driver. He was unbelievable in the Cairo traffic. Very impressive driving skills.

Hassle free pyramids tour from an Egyptian Egyptologist
This clearly isn't Nevin's first time delivering a tour of the pyramids! She knew the best places to stop for food, exactly where to stand for the perfect photos, and most importantly her Egyptology was on point. Without her we would have been swarmed by vendors, but they all knew her and knew not to bother Nevin's group! It meant we had the time and freedom to listen to the history uninterrupted and the space to take photos of just our group. After the pyramids we stopped for a selection of Egyptian coffee, tea, and smelling ouds and essential oils which was far more interesting than I ever expected - don't skip this part! We finished up with a museum tour where Nevin got the chance to share her passion for Egyptology. It was interesting, engaging, informative, and genuinely one of the best museums I've ever been to.

A great day out getting a flavour of ancient Egypt.
What a great day out! The perfect way to experience a flavour of ancient Egypt in a single day. Nevin was our guide, providing knowledgable insights to the lifestyle and history. Our group did a custom version of this tour (pyramids at Giza, sphinx, oil shop, picnic lunch on the go, and the old museum) and Nevin was very flexible to suit our needs. At Giza, we walked around the great pyramid, climbed inside the Queen pyramid and visited several vantage points for the best photos. We had a guided tour of the Noble Tomb and visited the Sphinx. Nevin made it very easy for us to move about by deflecting the touts and tipping the locals so that we felt largely unhassled and free to take as many photos as we wanted. At the oil shop we enjoyed local coffee, mint tea and hibiscus juice as we learned about how oils are produced in Egypt to supply the perfume market across the world. Our tour of the museum was guided by Nevin who pointed out the most interesting exhibits and provided historial background and interesting knowledge. There is so much to see it felt like a whirlwind tour and a little rushed even through we spent nearly 2 hours there. Nevin moved on through the exhibits at a pace so that we could get through them, but I struggled to keep up because I wanted to look at some things in more detail so sometimes missed the next section of her narration which was a shame. I’ll go back again sometime to explore more thoroughly! We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel and Nevin provided water, treated us to local snacks and fruit for breakfast and a delicious picnic lunch which we ate in the bus en route to the next stop. She was kind, flexible, knowledgable and friendly, just the sort of guide to make a day out like this a roaring success for the whole of our group. Thank you Nevin.

    Treated like royalty!!!
Our tour with Nevin was absolutely incredible!! She is so knowledgeable about the history of the pyramids/sphinx, and so friendly! She also knows exactly how to get those perfect photos!:) Our crew felt so at ease being with her, and I’d book this tour with her 1000x over! We honestly felt so spoilt, she treated us like royalty! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

    Cairo tour
Nevin was amazing! She picked us up at the hotel and had a whole day planned. She was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, she made the day so fun and knew exactly what she was talking about. We didn't stop laughing all day and learnt all about the Pyramids, the Egyptian museum and the Sphinx. Thank you so much and fully recommend to everyone. Will definitely book again 😁

Great Experience! Thanks to Essam and Mohammed
We had a great time with our guide Essam and our driver Mohammed: who were both very nice. Essam was incredibly knowledgable and taught us a lot about Egypt - both past and present. Having a private tour was great because we could go at our own pace and ask any questions. We enjoyed everything but our highlights were visiting the pyramids and sharing a very delicious local dish with Essam and Mohammed!

Great trip, super organized and conducted. If you want to focus on major attractions and get maximum from your spent time then this is the right choice. Nevin was my guide. She was so knowledgable about ancient Egypt but also about modern Egypt. You can get a phantastic movie story that crosses the past and presence. Her story was so touchy that after the tour I felt like I was personally present when pyramids have been built. And she is a super driver and you need it in Cairo.

A fantastic visit with great memories
Marco (guide) and Mohammed (driver) were excellent throughout our two days with them. Marco’s knowledge on Egyptology was limitless and he knew everyone everywhere which sped things up. The tour was tailored to what we wanted to do and it was a really entertaining and interesting visit to Egyptian Museum, Giza pyramids, Coptic churches and so much more. Ending with a felucca trip on the Nile was the icing on the cake. Mohammed’s driving was incredible in the utterly mad Cairo traffic!!

Trip of a lifetime made easy with the best guide.
Ebrahim was our tour guide and we couldn't have asked for a better one. His knowledge was 5 star and his English was great. He knew everything about everything and knew so many people that it made the tour so much better. He got us the best deals with the locals and was extremely good at taking photos when he knew the best opportunities were. I would definitely book with him again, and would highly, highly recommend him to anyone who wants to tour the pyramids.

The tour & our guide Mohamed = amazing!
I booked this private tour with a female friend of mine and we had the BEST time! Mohamed was so patient, friendly and knowledgeable! We asked him to snap lots of pictures of us and he happily obliged every time! His English was excellent and was able to crack some jokes with us. The tour itself was fascinating and the pyramids are of course well worth the visit :)

    Recommend with caution
Overall, it was a great experience for a decent price; however, be warned: it is certainly more than just the advertised $90 if you include gratuity for the personal all day chauffeur, tour guide, and any additional fees such as the additional $10 for hotel pick up if located by the airport. In total, it was $255 for the entire experience from Le Meridan Cairo Airport hotel as I also did a camel ride ($20) which was 10000% worth it; I highly highly recommend doing this! Some major qualms I had were that the major sites themselves are just such tourist attractions, you are bombarded by ridiculously large crowds, hagglers trying to scam you for Made in China trinkets, and just absolutely dirty and not well maintained. This isn't a criticism for this specific experience, but it is something more bigger than that. I think we really need to re-evaulate whether the ancient Egyptians would be proud of how we are treating these beautiful landmarks currently, let alone tarnshing their rich culture with these overproduced, fake, rip-offs. Unfortunately, because of all the chaos that surrounds this experience, it really takes the joy out of it in my opinion. My suggestion would be this: if you are in a time-crunch and just want to get some photos and be able to see and experience the sites without the luxury to relax and slowly take it all in, I would recommend these types of excursion packages; however, if you do have time and are flexible, it would be much better to go when it is the least crowded, but keep in mind that you will always have to deal with the hagglers and oh boy are they aggressive, so unless you are fluent in Arabic or can go with someone who is, I'd recommend having a personal tour guide just to mitigate all those moments which can really make the whole journey bittersweet. If you do have time, but just don't want to deal with all of that nonsense along with the long queues then I'd also recommend getting this. The personal chauffeur really does come in clutch though with how hectic the places get: it's an ease of mind knowing that you have a ride all ready to go and can even leave your bag in the car so you're not lugging around a heavy backpack all day in the heat. Another thing I'd like to add: depending on the type of excursion package and the tour guide themselves, be wary of any additional, unplanned stops they suggest during the day. This will usually involve some sort of store to shop at. It would be nice to know as the tourist whether or not the tour guide and/or the company as a whole have some sort of aligned incentive with this type of ploy which could very well not be the case; however, just be cautious of this. From my personal experience, I was suggested to stop by an Egyptian papyrus hand paintings store which was very exciting to visit and I even bought a few as early Christmas presents. To provide a contrast, I had a separate excursion package experience in Luxor where the tour guide clearly had a commission deal with the textile store owners and both parties were pressuring me into getting these "real 100% Egyptian cotton" pashminas which was extremely distasteful and made me not want to get it in the end. Fortunately, Ahmed, my tour guide for this pyramid excursion experience did not pressure me at all and I felt like I was able to trust him from the beginning. He helped me take great photos and also asked if I would like to do a Camel ride which I'm really glad I did. He also took me to a hidden gem of a restaurant with a beautiful view of the pyramids for lunch which was very awesome. He also helped me get a discount on a few Khartoush braclets that I wanted to get. Ahmed is extremely knowledgeable about the history and was able to get through all the major highlights without wasting time.

We booked this tour after reading wonderful reviews about Nevin. So we hoped she would be our guide too and she did! Nevin is a friendly, experienced and qualified guide: she knows the best spots to see the monuments and take pictures, she is fond of Egyptian culture and ready to answer your questions, but she doesn’t give you an overload of theory — and this makes the tour relaxed but still very informative. During the tour she managed to cope with all of the annoying local vendors to make us feel comfortable. After the tour, she brought us a delicious traditional takeaway falafel meal. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to book her for the next day to explore Islamic and Coptic Cairo. This tour was also fulfilling: we saw the most beautiful and significant mosques in Egyptian history and ate the famous koshary dish for lunch from the best place in town. We also asked Nevin if her driver could drop us at the Cairo airport for our next destination and he agreed so we ended our trip to Cairo in their comfortable car discussing Egyptian and Russian cultures :)

Loved our half day trip with Nevin for my partners birthday! Visited the pyramids, she knows the best time to go, no queues, no hidden charges. Nevin knows all the best photo/view spots is so enthusiastic and passionate about the history and we learnt a lot! She is really flexible and happy to pass the time as you choose - we had the option to visit the museum but decided against it on the occasion - will save it for next time! On the way back we got some delicious falafel, she catered to all dietary requirements and this was included in the price. We also visited a perfume shop, there was no pressure to buy and the products were very good quality and reasonable. Also went out for an evening meal and shisha with Nevin and she took us to the best local places, felt really involved in the local culture and really safe the whole time!! Thank you Nevin for fantastic experiences and look forward to seeing you on my next trip!!

In May I had the opportunity to tour the pyramids at Giza with the Deluxe Tours Egypt team and my tour guide Nevin; absolutely world class service and experience from Nevin, the driver, the transportation, the experience, and all of the attention provided during the tour, camel ride, Sphinx, papyrus & paintings factory visit and much more!! We ate some delicious falafel and had a chance to make it inside one of the pyramids also! Absolutely stunning experience, I highly recommend Deluxe Tours and especially Nevin for any of your tour needs; they are the best when it comes to service, flexibility, customizing a package based on your schedule, and going above and beyond to ensure our/your experience is unforgettable. Thanks so much for the joy, passion, and pride you take in providing your tours. Your team and your hospitality has always been amazing. You definitely are in the right industry because you do it with such energy, smile and simply love what you do and have tons of experience with the rich history of Egypt. Keep up the great work!

Travelling the world, there are few locations as significant and important as the Pyramids of Egypt. This is why it was so important for us to hire a professional tour guide to ensure everything went perfectly.

You only get to see the Great Pyramids for your first time once!

I'm sure like so many around the world who grew up hearing the wonderful legends of the Pharaohs of Egypt, learning the history of ancient civilizations, and the mystery behind these monumental tombs rising out of the African desert, it's important that the experience goes well.

Travelling between all the historical sites can be laborious, made all the more difficult with fake ticket booths, false roads, and other tourist traps lure you away from this otherwise awesome experience. Our tour guide Nevin was incredible at ensuring we got direct access to the sites, letting us know where and when to tip, and best of all arranging for private tours of the tombs without any hassle.

This was especially valuable because, without her, we would have never experienced the pyramids this way. I am forever grateful and highly recommend booking with her.

In addition to helping us navigate, Nevin inspired us to imagine the different dynasties that constructed these monumental structures, giving us invaluable insights into the lives and routines of the people and cultures that built them.

Make sure to go inside of the Bent Pyramid, and be ready to fall in love with ancient Egypt all over again. Thanks Nevin !!!

Nevin is a wonderful guide who is very informed and was able to answer all our questions in detail. Very convenient as we were picked up and dropped off from our Hotel reception. The tour was very relaxed, personalised and friendly as well as feeling safe and secure. The Falafel at the end was also a lovely touch and very tasty. My colleagues had recommended Nevin and they were spot on, I highly recommend if you're visitig Egypt for work or pleasure.

Definitely the best and most memorable experience I’ve had in Egypt, the tour was organised in a very professional manner and the attention to detail was excellent, hassle free as the tour guide Nevine knew everyone at the site, she made sure that the whole group was comfortable and looked after.
Very informative with the history of the pyramids and old Egyptian history.

Nevine is an excellent tour guide, I would definitely recommend her service to anyone going to visit Cairo and the pyramids.

This was a fantastic day out. We couldn’t have been better looked after with Nevin, who was extremely knowledgeable, upbeat and flexible to accommodate everyone’s wishes.
After we finished our day trip riding camels around the pyramid we extended our day to watch the sound and light show. This was a fantastic spectacle, which Nevin was more than happy to extend and wait until we had finished. I highly recommend Nevin’s services.

Booked the tour by contacting Nevin directly via WhatsApp only a few days before the trip. All comms were very effective and had a confirmation within a hour of the first txt. The day itself was very organised and literally everything was taken care of by Nevin. She is very liked by the staff at the pyramids which shows in how they looked after our tour. She is very knowledgeable and has a great skill in making photo's with a very good sense of humour. An amazing day out!!! Already planning my next tour with her for my next Cairo visit to a different pyramid site.

Had a brilliant half day tour of the pyramids and Sphinx with Nevin and George who drove us to and from the hotel and around the sites. Nevin was extremely helpful, very welcoming and came highly recommended from some friends. We saw the pyramids up close, as part of a beautiful panoramic and even went inside one as well.

Nevin took care of all ticket purchases and gave us some interesting facts about the mummification of pharaohs and other dignitaries. She even took us for a late breakfast at a local cafe with some delicious falafel wraps!

Highly recommend this tour and when I visit Cairo again I hope to see more of the sights this way! Thanks again!
