My husband and I just returned from the 10 day Treasures of Egypt private tour. Our thanks and gratitude to Look at Egypt Tours and the VIP service we received from them for making our vacation so amazing and truly unforgettable. A company representative met us at the airport in Cairo and led us through passport control, security and helped with our luggage. Another representative aided us with the check-in process at the hotel. We also had the benefit of two very knowledgeable Egyptologists (Mo in Cairo and Mo in Luxor and Aswan) who expertly guided my husband and I through all the historic sites that were listed on the itinerary. At all times the assistance of a company representative were provided to us. We stayed at The Fairmont Hotel and on the Jaz Regent Nile Cruise ship which were both excellent for their accommodation and service and all the domestic flights that were included in the tour were managed perfectly by Look at Egypt Tours. Honorable mention goes to the excellent drivers that safely navigated us through the streets in Egypt (especially in Cairo) and we enjoyed the comfort and security of a new, large, air-conditioned van each time we required a vehicle. Last but not least, a huge thank-you to Yasmine who was our main contact at Look at Egypt tours. With her wonderful communication skills, she helped us plan our trip to Egypt and made sure we had all the information we required. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking about going to Egypt and wants to enjoy a worry free vacation. This company definitely deserves more than a 5 star rating.

- Booking the trip: Yasmine was quick to respond to all questions and provided a detailed and easy to understand itinerary. She allowed us to fully customize our trip with sites that are off the typical tourist path. All pertinent information (contact information, flight info, hotels, etc) was provided prior to our departure flight to Egypt. - Tour guides: our tour guides in both Cairo and Luxor were very knowledgeable. We had Mr. Fayid in Cairo and Mr. Ramon in Luxor. Mr Fayid anlso was very happy to andd a last minute addition. We added the Sakarra Serapeum. Highly recommend adding this as it is unlike anything you will ever see. It’s a huge underground tunnel system for the bull mummies!!!!. All tours started on time. Our guides answered all our questions, let us take our time at the sites, and did not force us to shop in the typical tourist shops. - Tour manager: Walid was our tour manager for our entire time in Egypt. He provided excellent communication and made sure we were always comfortable. - Drivers: the drivers were knowledge about the roads and always arrived on time. Mr. Amr is Cairo was our favorite. The van was large and private and always had air conditioning on. They always had cold water when needed. - Accommodations: we stayed at the Steigenberger Tahrir, the Sonesta in Luxor and The Marriott in Hurgada. All were very high quality hotels with buffet breakfasts and friendly staff. They let us choose what we put in our box lunch. They even let us store our bag for a week at the hotel for free. - Changes: Look at Egypt was very open to any last minute changes we wanted to make to our schedule. They even went above and beyond to help us book a last minute extra hotel room. Look at Egypt tour company really cares about the happiness of its customers. - Communication: we had many ways to contact our tour guide and tour manager. They responded quickly to any questions or concerns. I lost my hat during the trip and Look at Egypt tours was able to locate it and deliver it to me right away. - Food: they took us to many restaurants for lunch. They gave us a lot of different options for Egyptian foods. They asked for our preferences and diet. Some restaurants had amazing views. - Overall: amazing and unforgettable experience. We will be using Look at Egypt Tour company again for future trips.

Look at Egypt tours were amazing. Mr Mahmoud picked us up from the airport and made sure every details was arranged from start to finish of our trip. They arranged a luxury trip- guides Mohamed and Randa made the experience of understanding the sites so much better than if we were there by ourselves. They arranged all the accommodation and it was exactly as they described. There was always a private modern air conditioned minivan to take us from place to place with a driver we came to know well called Abdo. We felt safe all the time. I was travelling with 2 grandma's and my teenage son and we had a ball! To top it off, Mahmoud even arranged a surprise birthday cake and dinner for us, which was very touching. We requested some last minute changes like kayaking in Aswan- no problem. How about hot air balloon in Luxor- easy. They just made it happen. If you are looking for an amazing company to make your Egypt experience seamless and hassle free, look no further. I thoroughly recommend them and would use them again for sure.

Wonderful experience. Mahmoud the tour guide and his colleague who was our guide to the Pyramids and museum was very knowledgeable. They were very professional and amiable. The hotel (Fairmont Nile city) was superb. They were very hospitable. I highly recommend them. "Shukran" to them.

From the time Sobhy and Abdou picked me up, they were so helpful and kind. I felt very cared for and cared about. Abdul showed me the proper way to tip —— in the most beautiful way. Sobhy shared books to help me learn more Arabic. Hanan was absolutely brilliant. She was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. She helped take some great pictures and guided me to some very nice shops. When I travelled to Aswan and Luxor I had a different guide who was equally as knowledgeable and shared so much. We took a variety of transportation horse drawn carriage, boat, car and van. I saw so many temples —- one day I saw three. August is not the month to travel here as it is extremely hot (45 with humidity at 80). I was starting a job here in August so that was a choice on my part. The person who arranged my trip, Anas, was so patient with me and answered all of my questions. If you are unsure of booking a trip with these guys, don’t be. They are a wonderful company with so many fabulous people working for them.

We never imagined that everything would be beyond our expectations from day one when we arrived and our professional tour manager Walid explained everything about the itenary and how look at Egypt tours prepared such a beautiful hotels. We (my spouse and I) got a recommendation to use Look At Egypt Tours, which my friends had used for their trip a few months before. The communications with the company were almost seamless, though I had one email that remained unanswered right before our flights. All our guides, Hannah, Wahid, Mohammed and our driver Abrahim were very reliable and enjoyable. There was one time when a miscommunication between us and one of the guides caused a little tension, but that was easily solved. The Nile cruise was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What a thrill to be on the river with the lush green of the shore and the desert mountains in the distance. As Americans, we are used to tipping for service, and I would recommend people who haven't been to Egypt get an idea who to tip, when, and how much. The exchange rate is very favorable right now, which is an added plus. Also, driving in Cairo is not for the faint of heart. Don't plan on renting a car there. I am so glad we made the trip. If you are planning a trip to Egypt this is the company you should choose. I booked the tour myself through Yasmine via what's app and she was great with her communication. The tour manager Walid was very professional and his communication was great. Boudi our driver was safe and professional and a nice guy. We had 3 guides Randa, Azza, and Sally. Ask for these guides as they are the best and very knowledgeable qualified historians. Do not hesitate to book with this company as we made memories that will last forever.

Very nice and interesting tour. The rep. Mr. Mahmoud Hefny looked after us excellently. The two guides (Mr. Fayed and Mr. Awman) were also very good. It's a shame the Nile cruise only lasted 1 night. We then spent two days in the port of Luxor. But definitely a recommended trip.
