I did the half day tour to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx from Cairo with my mother. We decided to do the half a day tour instead of a full day because we were tired from travelling/other tours and also wanted to give ourselves more time to explore Cairo on our own. Thank you to our tour guide Hazem and driver Weal! Hazem took the best photos we could have asked for. In addition to seeing & learning about the pyramids and Sphinx, you can pay extra to go inside the pyramids and to take a camel ride to see a panoramic view of the pyramids. The tour also involved visiting papyrus, cotton and perfume shops. However our guide was very understanding when we decided to only visit one shop instead of all three. The tour was exactly what we wanted, although there is so much to do so if you want to see more than I'd suggest doing the full day tour instead of half a day.

This tour was not a success. Cairo down town is a congested place and travelling consumes most of the time as Saqara is quite some distance from Cairo. Many good tour operators and better guide as I experienced are not very strict about the total duration, but in our case our guide was dead strict to the time and clearly stated that exceeding the time means extra payment. I must admit that we started some 10 minutes late from the planned time and our guide had to wait. We are really sorry for that but I doubt if that is some reason enough to be hurried all along the tour at every location. We had to visit all places very quickly and finished the tour in time with lot of dissatisfaction. Any one having some interest in ancient civilization should not opt for the tour or must have a clear discussion with the tour operator beforehand about the duration.

This tour was an absolutely incredible experience! I got a chance to visit all the major sites in Islamic Cairo, including the famous mosques, citadels, and bazaars. I would totally recommend this to anyone! My tour guide, Sayed Mahmoud, and driver, Muhammad Ghandi, were both very hospitable, knowledgeable, and patient.

The tours with Sayed Mahmoud and or drive Mamud Sabri were great, he explained everything in detail, he was very patient with us and helped us take good photos

A private tour with prepaid admission is best in any setting and our excellent tour guide Sayed Mahmoud was very knowledgeable about anything Egypt. Our driver Mr Ahmad was very prompt and on hand at all times when needed. We were so comfortable with them both, we requested them for this tour on our second day. Our first trip was at the Egyptian museum/citadel/khan kalilli bazaar.

We had a most wonderful experience made possible by our excellent and knowledgeable tour guide Sayed Mahmoud and not to forget also our driver Mr Ahmad. They were prompt and took us around with ease. I do recommend the private tours, totally worth it. Going into the great pyramid was quite the experience and should be a part of your tour. I highly recommend Sayed as your guide!

We visited the Piramids in Giza and the Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara, from 8.00 to 16.00. We entered the Great Pyramid, got many pictures from position in wich we could enjoy a more complete view of the site, we managed to avoid most of the crowds but still see all the main features. In Memphis the stop was brief but very meaningful. Saqqara, with Djoser's piramid, is one of the most fascinating places in the world. The guide, Issam, was the best we met in our trip in Egypt. He made every minute count without being stressful or pressuring us, he's very well ridden in gerogliphs and he compleated the simple knowledge we alredy had with precious info and more, he also can keep an eye on the tourists he is leading and is truly trustworthy. We loved our time in Giza

The private tour with Mahmoud and Khairat were amazing tour guides! They brought me to an extra destination and helped me get a good discount on Egyptian carpet! Very fun day in Egypt, 10/10 recommend

Our guide Essam was fantastic. He provided us with great Egyptian and archeological knowledge about the ancient history, dynasties and Pharaohs. His knowledge of the construction of the various pyramids was exceptional and provided us with the background knowledge of why the various burial site of the pyramids are varied. We explored Saqqara, Memphis and Dashur followed by lunch. Our driver Mohammed was extremely accommodating. I fell ill during the morning and the care and comparison shown by them both was very much appreciated. We would certainly recommend Emo Tours and Essam and Mohammed to any person considering booking this tour or the Giza Pyramids tour. Enjoy and thanks. Allan

Sayed Mahmoud our guide and our driver Shady were great and gave splendid advise of the different things to do in Cairo and helped us to achieve a multitude of places in one morning with lots of time to do pictures! Also the transport (driven by Shady), was smooth and were able to see the stunning views of Cairo and of course the pyramids!

Sayed Mahmoud was brilliant along with our driver Shady. We highly recommend Emo tours for our private Pyramid tour starting from 8 am till 3pm. It was hassle free pickup and Sayed made us comfortable as soon as we boarded the car. His knowledge around the Egyptian history was second to none. We wondered if he has PHD on history or not! So ultimately a brilliant day with lots of history and ancient civilisation and well worth it especially for our 10 year old daughter.

We had Youseff as our driver. He was a friendly, accommodating, and excellent driver. Our tour guide, Sayed Mahmoud, was as well excellent. We learnt lots about Egypt and pyramid history. He saved us from headache dealing with con-artists at tour sites!
