Our family booked a complete tour in Egypt, including Nile cruise, airfare, hotel, tours many months ago. Torky at Emo Tours provided expert assistance and was able to book us an ideal vacation. Unfortunately, with the unrest in neighboring countries, our family did not feel comfortable traveling in the region, so we regrettably canceled with about 45 days until our departure. After contacting Torky.with our decision to cancel, he was able to cancel our booked itinerary and were promptly credited back on our credit card all but 6% of the amount we paid, which had been clearly outlined as a predetermined cancellation fee in our travel contract. I am sure that not many companies would honor the agreement and respond as quickly as Torky and Emo did. We are very grateful that Emo honored their contract without complaint. Needless to say, we will be calling on Emo and Torky to assist us with Egypt travel when the political situation in the region settles down. We cannot recommend this company enough for their professionalism and for honoring a contract in what must be a very difficult time for them to do so.

We booked the tour as a private party of 9, the car and the guide only. Overall, it was a good tour, not very good, but good. We started with the pyramids and sphinx, which felt very rushed tbh. I think we spent less than 30 minutes up close to the pyramids, which I am really regretful about. Then we drove away for a panoramic view and camel ride. The camel ride, was about $10 for 30 minutes and was the highlight. Our guide Ehab, wasn't keen on us stopping to get close to the Sphinx, and only did so as we pushed for it. After this we stopped for a 'coffee' at a local perfume factory, which was a hard sell and complete waste of 45 minutes I will never get back. No rush here from the guide, interestingly enough, and not advertised as part of the tour. We then stopped for lunch at a local buffet, good value, good food, nice vibe (we paid separately for this, approx $8-9 pp). After we went on to Memphis and Saqqara. Memphis museum was grand and interesting, many artefacts. Second largest sphinx in Egypt is there. Saqqara was beautiful in the late afternoon. We went inside the pyramid here, not for the claustrophobes among us, narrow tunnels and rooms. Nothing to see so much, once you've done it, you wouldn't need to do it again. On route home, I told the guide we wanted to go straight to the hotel, but he said the papyrus shop was en route as was the Egyptian cotton shop. The papyrus was ok, still more expensive than others we visited later in our travels. The cotton shop was another waste of time. They were not en route to our hotel. I would advise Emo Tours as great value, but not so great with the additions, that I would have declined had I been asked, and actually did try and decline, but was fobbed off. Definitely tell them ahead of time not to stop at these extras as I think they're hard sells, over inflated prices and cut in to your actual tour time, when you could be enjoying the sights.

This show is a must visit to complete your experience of the Pyramids of Giza. The show is a bit old fashioned though but still the lit up Giza plato under the night sky is sensational. Also our guide Noor is a wonderful person and had a great time in the evening overall.

The company was very responsive in queries and made adjustments according to our request in terms of pick-up and drop-off etc. Thumbs up!! The tour itself was not bad; but visiting such a culture- and history-rich attractions, you expect the tour guide to be more fluent in English and be able to provide more details, which was under my expectations. Our tour guide was more like to complete the itinerary rather than accomondating. In addition, there was some hinds in shopping although you may get away from visiting all the pre-planned shops by indicating it to the tour guide, after all it was meant to be a private tour. Transportation and food was up to standard.

Such fun to spend 2 nights tacking down the Nile on this wind powered boat. Comfortable and a different experience.

A great historical overview of the Sakkara, Dasher, and Memphis areas with tour guid Essam and driver Hacham. Essam goes above and beyond as a tour guide. The highest quality guide I have encountered, with exceptional knowledge and the ability to translate hieroglyphics instantly. Amazing tour, 5 stars!

They picked me up on time and we went through the programme. I was very impressed by the temple complex at Karnak and the tombs of the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, including Tutankhamun's tomb with his mummy. Lunch was delicious. It was nice that, as the flight back to Cairo was late, we were given a free rest for a few hours in a nice hotel in a nice location. I recommend the 5-6 PM return flight to Cairo.

They picked me up on time and we went through the programme. The guide spoke Russian, as he had studied in Moscow for several years. A special surprise was the carpet factory in Memphis, where you could watch the masterpieces being made. Thank you for the experience.

I do recommend this tour. The car was ok, the guide was very friendly and knowledgable and shared his knowledge with us on every stop, not only on what we saw, but also what we've passed. Answered all our questions and was very passionate about history. We did not opt for aa lunch and the tour lasted about 4 hours from the pick up to the drop off moment, but we covered all promised attractions and was not tiring.
