What an exceptional day with our tour guide Sayed Mahmoud! I highly recommend this particular guide from Emo Tours. We’ve had him for two days, and he does not disappoint. He went above and beyond to give us a great explanation of main artefacts at the Egyptian Museum, and took us through the Main Street area of the Khan Khalili Bazaar. We had a great time at the Mohammed Ali Mosque, with great insight on the Citadel of Saladin. He’s a knowledgeable guide, with honest information and now’s the locals and we get the perks. Recommend this tour! Can’t fault our driver also Hamed, driving us around and keeping us safe during the election with heavy army presence which can be confronting.

Shereen was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptology. She showed me so many amazing sites and took me too a buffet lunch midday. She was kind and patient allowing me free time at each stop to take photos. Abd Rabo was our driver and he was such an amazing driver! The car was air conditioned, he drove safely and was there to pick us up from each stop without making us wait! He even gave me a piece of candy along the way! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with Shereen as the guide and Abd Rabo as the driver.

I just did the six day Cairo & Alexandria tour with Emo, and they couldn’t have been more professional and kinder to me. I was travelling solo and had a couple specific requests, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating for me. Nothing was a problem and I appreciate that service. The guides were excellent and super knowledgeable, with a special thanks to Jasmine who was very thoughtful. She is a great guide and do ask for her if you can! Also a special thanks to Mr. Torky for putting it together for me. I would certainly utilise this company again. And I will be returning to do more of Alexandria, it’s such a beautiful place that you need more time there to really enjoy it.

Wow. Where do I start? If I could give this 100/100 I would! Maharan was simply amazing! I can see why everyone talks about him in their reviews. If you want an expert on knowledge, and someone who is just one of the most amazing human beings I have ever met! Let me get into detail! First of all he was already on time waiting at the hotel outside for us with a very nice, very clean car. He had water for us as well so we didn’t get dehydrated. We had such an amazing time at the museum seeing all the history and he had so much knowledge to share with us about the museum and Cairo itself after the tour. He also had amazing music and it felt like I was hanging out with my friends back home just dancing and smiling. His energy is contagious. Always positive always smiling! I would love to call him a friend but now I can definitely call him my brother habibi!!! He told us about himself and wanted to get to know my wife and I. He offered to take us wherever, whenever we wanted. He even took us to the airport because we just loved him so much and didn’t want to leave without saying goodbye. His driving skills are smooth and impeccable also!! If you want someone who makes you feel at home and like family, maharan is the man. If you want someone who knows Egypt and all about the history, maharan is your man. If you want to be uplifted and have positive vibes and a smile, maharan is the man. We are going to Aswan, Luxor, and hurghada now. We fly back to Cairo for one day, and guess who I am going to see. Maharan. My friend. My brother. After just one day. Wow. I cannot wait to see you again maharan and I hope you continue to spread love and laughter with everyone who has the pleasure to meet you!!! DO NOT MISS OUT!!!

This was an essential part of our tour before visiting the Giza Pyramids and it did not disappoint. Our guide was knowledgeable the vehicle clean and the driver able. Saqqara is one of the richest archaeological sites in the country - its monuments span 3ooo years. We were able to enter the Red Pyramid via a passage on its north face down a long shaft of about 150 steps. An amazing thing to do. We enjoyed Dahshur and the Mortuary Temple complex relatively free of the vast crowds experienced elsewhere . Memphis was excellent and so was the lunch! All in all we had a great introduction to Ancient Egypt.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The owner Ayman sends me 50 emails a week demanding more money and/or a 5-star review, whilst calling me "an animal" in the process! This is years after the trip BTW! You might have a nice tour, but the abuse you get afterwards is off the chart!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Amgie (tour guide) and Hossam (private driver) have been great at providing such a beautiful experience for me in Egypt. I felt very well taken care of and felt at home with these two. The locations I went to were sooo so beautiful and breath taking. My favorite part was Karnak and Valley of the Kings! It felt like a movie in all these locations! Overall, I am truly 100% satisfied and will definitely come back to Egypt! Thank you Amgie and Hossam!

Sayed was our guide for the day tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. He knew a lot about Egyptian history, spoke good English, and got such a good vibe! For the tour part, we saw all the big pyramids in Giza, Saqqara and Dashur. We chose not to go inside the big pyramids, as I’m not comfortable with places with not enough oxygen. But as recommended by Sayed, we did go inside the Pyramid of Teti in Saqqara, which was much smaller but very beautiful with a lot of detailed carvings. The other tombs in Saqqara were worth a visit too. Definitely the best choice for tours around Cairo!

You can’t miss this! Stunning light show - don’t be put off by rubbish in Giza, the Pyramids and show are clean and watch out for staff taking photos-they’ll want a tip but they do take great photos so worth it. Sit in front row and pay extra.

Essam was a great guide. Enjoyed the whole day tour. He explained the relevance of all the spots. Help us take excellent pictures like a pro photographer. Told us stories and histories. Very detailed and always concerned about us and our safety. Worth the value and more. Lunch was also great. Driver Mohammed was also very pollite and helpful. Will ask for him again when using Emo Tours. Highly recommended!
