Our tour guide Maged was very friendly and he is very knowledgeable about the Egyptian history.

He explained the hidden meaning/message behind some of the important artifacts in detail and answered our questions.

Thanks Maged for providing such a wonderful service.

Ibrahim Mohammed is the sweetest and most knowledgeable tour guide ever. Since he was our tour guide the day before we already had his number and we cooordinated through WhatsApp the best time to meet on Sunday for our museum tour. Ibrahim and the driver stayed with us the entire time talking and sharing all his Egypt knowledge with us. Once ae got to the museum he bought our tickets and took care of all the logistics for us. He walked us through the entire museum and always offered to take picture of us. Not only that, he took his time and understood our vibe. We wanted to see and indulge in this museum and get to really know the most impostant pieces and that’s exactly what he did. Ibrahim was already our friend by this day since he spent the entire day with us the day before. Once we finished our tour he asked us where we wanted to go and he asked the driver to drop us in another hotel that we wanted to visit. We are so thankful that we did all of our tours with Emo tours rather than group tours because we really wanted to take our time ans not be rushed. We HIGHLY recommend coming to this museum. It’s breathtaking and overhimg amount of Egyptian art. You can honestly spend an entire day just walking around. Most importantly, you need someone knowledgeable like Ibrahim to narrate and tell you everything about the pieces of art.

We did two full day tours in Cairo with Emo Tours last week. Both we're hugely enjoyable & informative thanks to our outstanding guide Guda. He had wonderful knowledge about all the places we visited, & was most friendly & helpful. Do ask for him if you do a tour in Cairo. The tours were also excellent value for money & included very nice lunches. I thoroughly recommend Emo Tours in Egypt.

We have booked several tours with Imo with great success, and have no complaints from any of them, only praises! This time around we did not spend enough time at the Egyptian museum in Cairo in our first visit a couple of days ago and decided to book a second visit only focusing on that. Our guide was Sayed Mahmoud and our Driver Mohamed. They were both excellent, took very good care of us and guided us through the difficult streets of Cairo seamlessly. Our guide took the time to explain all the different artifacts, rooms, and treasures and spent over five hours at the museum. They went well above what was expected and invited us for lunch at their favorite local falafel place in Giza (Felfela which by the way was excellent and you can read about it in a separate review) and did not let us pay for lunch! We also wanted to buy a few souvenirs and took us on their own extra time to a perfume store, a bazaar, and a papyrus store at our request. I think it’s important to emphasize that this is something we requested and by no means were they pushing us to go to stores at all. They wanted to make sure that we were able to accomplish in the day everything we wanted to do, even though it was not included as part of the tour. We were very grateful for the extra time they took, and they even dropped us off at a different location of our choosing at the CityStar mall where we wanted to have some coffee after our trip. I only have excellent things to say about the demeanor, assistance, and extra time. I highly recommend them to be your guides in Cairo.

Had an amazing half day tour to the egytian museum with Mahmoud.

Mahmoud as a guide from Emo tour shows a professional attitude, on time and full of knowledge
Eventhough it’s very crowded & hectic inside the museum, he never lose his composure and was calmly explaining everything in steady manner. It made me feel relax and had a really wonderful time.

We did the museum tour and all in all I’d say it was quite good. It did feel very rushed and there were rooms in the museum that we didn’t even step foot in, but on the other hand we got to hear all the extra bits of information we would have missed without the tour so I guess it really depends what you’d rather have. Afterwards we went to an essential oils shop and got some information about the essential oils from Egypt. Given the choice I would’ve much rather spent that extra half hour walking around the museum than visiting the oil shop so it wish that had been an option before we left. The tour also said it came with a drink and snack bag but it did not.

Our half day tour of the Cairo museum was with the lovely Nesma, our Egyptologist guide with a nice clean air conditioned car providing transport to and from our hotel. Nesma gave very detailed descriptions of each exhibit - the highlight for me being the gold sarcophagus and funeral mask of King Tutankhamun. Nesma even stopped at a local pharmacy and purchased some vitamin tables on behalf of my wife who was suffering a cold. We really appreciate the extra customer service!

Ahmed Zakaria picked up our group of 6 at the agreed time, 8 am at our Hotel, the Cairo Pyramid. Ahmed throughout the day was an infinite source of information regarding the various places we visited, the culture of Egypt, the life of a typical Egyptian and answered every question put to him with candor and honesty. He is obviously proud of his country and it's history. His advice in such areas as food and purchases was much appreciated. We all appreciated his humor. During the day, unsolicited, he bought bags of local fruit so that we might enjoy. We have another trip booked later this week to Alexandria and sincerely hope that Ahmed will once again be our guide. Thank you Emo Tours for sending him to us.
