Spent a great day with Sayed Mahmoud and our driver Mahmoud Emad. They really hospitable, knowledgeable and a great company. We spent the day getting up close and personal with all incredible sights which I was guided through in great depth. Sayed also introduced me to the local arts and crafts which gave a great insight into the local life. 100/100 would recommend.

Sayeed Mohamoud and Yousef were amazing and super helpful! Yousef drove us everywhere we needed to go and was very safe! Sayeed was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and you could tell he loves his culture! We learned so much and were very well taken care of!

Sayed Mahmoud was awesome. He is the best tour guide in all of Egypt - really helpful and always helping you understand everything as you go on the journey. He will also ensure you don’t get scammed anywhere, which is common if you don’t know what’s going on. Tour itself is really cool because they show you all the pyramids and you get to go inside some of them too.

We had a very nice trip to Dashur, where we saw the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. Next we stopped at Memphis and saw the huge statue of Rameses II, and then we went to the Saqqara complex where we saw and went inside the pyramid of Teti and the tomb of Kagemni. The tomb has beautiful hieroglyphs and you can still see some of the red and black colours. Our guide, Sayed Mahmoud was very friendly and very patient with us, he gave us information about every tourist site and showed us all the most important details from the sites. We highly recommend our guide and the agency. Thank you for the excellent tour!

We took the package of car + guide+ stay. I must say that the guides they provided for all locations like Cairo, Alexandria, luxor, edfu, Aswan, etc etc were not good at all. They were all free lancers and not upto the mark. Seems like they came for quick money and were just hurrying every time. Not understanding the customer needs and expectations at all. They were just hurrying up every time. We also missed our UK flight since the internal domestic flight delayed. In spite of our repeated requests they didn't change the internal flights timings and it resulted a heavy loss for us. I wouldn't recommend Emo Tours to anyone. Their guides are not at all professional and honestly pathetic.

EMO tours put together a custom set of activities with the help and guidance of Torky. We were a small group of 4 people and this was our 1st time in Cairo and Giza. Torky and EMO set up a schedule with guides and pick up / drop off from our hotel. Everything ran smoothly. They are reliable and responsive. We highly recommend the dinner with family. Our experience with Amr and his family was wonderful.

Short Answer: STAY AWAY For longer version, continue reading We (2 people) visited egypt for 5 days, and booked all our tours (4 tours) with these guys before travel. All our tours were private and with a guide. Let me start with experience on each tour in the order they happened > Cairo Half day tours to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx (https://www.emotoursegypt.com/en/activity/40289/cairo-half-day-tours-to-giza-pyramids-and-sphinx) + Nice tour guide, helpful and friendly + Decent car quality, smooth pickup + Tour guide explained the history patiently. - Tour guide took us to over expensive shops for local shopping, eg perfumes, and, that seemed more like a collaborative mafia, than the genuine local recommendation - Tour guide had the intent to wrap everything asap, wrapping half day tour in 3 hours. > Cairo Tour to Egyptian Museum Citadel and Old Cairo (https://www.emotoursegypt.com/en/activity/40313/cairo-tour-to-egyptian-museum-citadel-and-old-cairo) + Knowledge tour guide, knew a lot of Egyptian museum history - Language barrier, tour guide was english speaking for namesake, resorted to arabic throughout the conversation (we booked english speaking tour) - Tour guide was very pushy in moving fast, and wrapped the full day tour in 4 hours. - Adamant guide, won't repeat what he said, and accent was also not easily pickable. > Best Luxor Day Tour visit East and West Nile Banks (https://www.emotoursegypt.com/en/activity/40442/best-luxor-day-tour-visit-east-and-west-nile-banks) - Please don't book this tour, guide is for name sake, won't go inside on most temples with you, will introduce sites from outside in 2 mins, and then ask you to visit on your own. - Since there is very less communication with guide throughout, tour naturally ends very shortly (4 hours in our case) - Guide tried to hand over tickets to us, and say its better to visit late in the night, to end the tour even early > Cairo dinner Cruise with Belly dancer show (https://www.emotoursegypt.com/en/activity/40312/cairo-dinner-cruise-with-belly-dancer-show) - This was a mental pain, tour was supposed to start at 5PM, but no one came for pick till 6:15PM, very poor communication from the organizers, for eg, asked driver to pick up at later time, sent the driver to wrong hotel. - Driver are native arabic speakers, so if you don't speak arabic, be ready for a hard time following up with driver (know that the organizers are not proactive in responses) - This tour comes with a representative, who would meet you at the ship docking station for 2 mins, and thats all. Completely useless, don't expect any guide/support on this. - I think its more like buying a ticket to the boat, rather than a tour. Overall, i had a nightmare of a experience with this tour operator. While talking about this experience with my hotel receptionist, i was told its a very common pattern for emotours, many travellers book with them based on their ratings, but struggles with them after landing in egypt.
