Only we prefer some not so touristic famous places to see. We prefer smaller souvenirs places, not with all tourist. But for pyramids and museum was 6 star.Written February 16, 2025
- zedlerr0 contributions3 days with Egypt Lovely holidaysWe had a cracking introduction to Egypt, all thanks to our guide Zenab. She showed us exactly what we asked for, threw in some top-notch suggestions on how best to do it, and even had ideas on what else we could add. She was bang on time, stuck to our itinerary at our pace, and respected our choices. No worries about being hustled by touts or dragged around extra shopping trips—that's not Zenab's style. She's a right clever clogs, brilliant at sharing her knowledge while having a natter and was incredibly flexible. All in all, we had a lovely time in Cairo, and we'd absolutely recommend her to anyone.Written October 30, 2024
- twaitb0 contributionsWonderful mixWe had a cracking time exploring the Step Pyramid complex of Zoser and the Egyptian Museum. The artefacts were absolutely mint! Huge thanks to Egypt Lovely Holidays for sorting out this tour. It was proper good!Written October 29, 2024
- twaitb0 contributionsTour made for usDuring our first visit to Egypt, on just our second day, we set off on a private tour that truly lived up to its promise with an unforgettable experience at the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and an engaging museum tour. What really took the biscuit was the thrilling camel ride at sunrise by the pyramids—absolutely the bee's knees. Egypt's history is mind-blowing all on its own, but having a top-notch guide can turn a cracking good experience into something extraordinary. We struck lucky with Ashraf as our guide. His profound insights into Egypt's history, delivered with a personal touch, left us chuffed to bits. Ashraf also had a flair for photography, capturing some of the best moments of our trip. It's one thing to visit Egypt, but it's another kettle of fish to explore it with a guide like Ashraf, who offers reasonable pricing and a lively tour that makes history jump off the pages.Written October 29, 2024
- jeziorowskio0 contributionsGreat day in CairoOur first jaunt to the mesmerizing lands of Egypt was quite the adventure, and on day two, we took a private tour—an unforgettable choice, if I say so myself. First up on the roster were the legendary Giza Pyramids. The camel ride was the bee's knees, no doubt about it, and the museum, bursting with thousands of years of history, was equally thrilling. Now, Egypt is like a living museum, and seeing it up close is quite something. But, here's the kicker—a knowledgeable guide makes all the difference. Enter Ashraf, our stellar guide, who was worth his weight in gold. His stories weren’t just the usual spiel; they were peppered with personal nuggets about Egypt's rich past, adding a whole new layer to our experience. It's not every day you find someone willing to share such gems, making our time with Ashraf invaluable. Beyond the captivating history and culture, another standout was how wallet-friendly everything was. We dove into the whole shebang without a second thought! Ashraf didn’t just enhance our understanding of Egyptian history; he also snapped some killer photos for us—talk about service with a smile! Our day spent amid ancient wonders, highlighted by a joyful camel ride and Ashraf's personal touch, was a one-for-the-books kind of experience. This trip into Egypt's core, with Ashraf at the helm, wasn’t just a tour; it was a vibrant chapter in our travel saga, filled with unforgettable encounters and learning. If you're the type who appreciates the finer things, like I am, this tour is right up your alley.Written October 29, 2024

- regans8720 contributionsKing and Queen of Egypt for a dayWe had only one day to experience Egypt. Pyramid Land Tours came recommended by friends. We were extremely fortunate to have Shady Hamdy as our exceptional tour guide. His knowledge and ability to convey facts, figures and fascinations was fabulous. We had Muhamad the car driver and Muhamad the camel driver who were marvellous and looked after us magnificently. Jacki was nervous about aspects of the tour but Shady was encouraging and judged abilities where necessary. We felt Shady tailored the tour for us and our interest in the engineering of the pyramids. The perfume and paper making shops were interesting and no hard selling. Lunch was delicious tastes of Egyptian food and a surprising view of the pyramids. Unfortunately my wife suffered a migraine and Shady and Muhamad looked after her with extreme care and consideration. Thank goodness the Egyptian people have looked after the artefacts and monuments, and structures that have survived since antiquity. The Egyptian people were hard working, humerus and the tour far exceeded the dollar value. Shogrun Shady you and your Muhamad team made us feel like a king and Queen of Egypt for a day. - braninn0 contributionsGreat authentic experienceThe tour had numerous memorable moments, but two experiences stood out. First, the panoramic view from the top of Cairo Tower was breathtaking. It provided an authentic perspective of Cairo, sprawling beneath us, and allowed for unbelievable photo opportunities I will treasure forever. The second standout was the delicious Koshary meal we had. It was so good that it has already made it to my list of things to do on my next visit to Cairo.Written May 6, 2024
- ofriaw0 contributionsGreat TourDuring our inaugural trip to the captivating lands of Egypt, we ventured on a private tour on our second day—a decision that would soon prove unforgettable. Our itinerary unfolded with the iconic spectacles of the Giza Pyramids. This enthralling camel ride undoubtedly ranked as the pinnacle of our experiences, as did a visit to the museum that houses millennia of history. Egypt is a treasure trove of history, and seeing it firsthand is truly impressive. However, the depth of such a visit is significantly enriched by the presence of a knowledgeable and passionate guide. We were exceedingly fortunate to have Ashraf accompany us. His exceptional guidance, peppered with insightful personal anecdotes about Egypt's heritage, elevated our experience beyond the mere visual wonders. Finding a guide willing to impart such personal insights is rare, making our time with Ashraf all the more valuable. Aside from the richness of history and culture, another highlight was the reasonable prices, allowing us to indulge in the adventure without hesitation. Ashraf not only significantly contributed to our understanding and appreciation of Egyptian history but also captured some of the most stunning photographs of our entire trip, leaving us with lasting memories we'll cherish forever. Our day amidst the awe-inspiring relics of ancient civilizations, accentuated by the joy of a camel ride and the personal touch of our guide, we made for an indelibly memorable experience. This venture into Egypt's heart, guided by Ashraf's expertise and personability, was not simply a tour; it was a vivid chapter in our travel story, marked by exhilarating encounters and learning.Written April 29, 2024
- krishna201120110 contributionsA Traveler's Tale of Cairo Tower and an Encounter with KosharyCairo, the pulsating heart of Egypt, is a treasure trove of ancient history and vibrant culture. I recently had the chance to experience a slice of this bustling metropolis and its offerings firsthand. Allow me to share with you the two facets of Cairo that made an indelible mark on my traveler's spirit: the iconic Cairo Tower and the delightful experience of eating Koshary. Cairo Tower – Reaching for the Skies Cairo tower or "Borg Al-Qāhirah," as the locals refer to it, is undeniably a modern symbol of Egypt's capital. Standing tall at 187 meters, it extends an open invitation to gaze upon the city from its vantage point. The architecture is impressive, with its lattice tube resembling a lotus plant, and is a testament to the Egyptian ingenuity blending the ancient with the contemporary. The View: The panoramic vista from the observation deck was absolutely breathtaking. The sprawling city stretched below me with infinite narratives in every direction. The Nile curved gracefully as the afternoon sun bathed everything in golden hues. One can spend hours spotting historic landmarks, and feeling the heartbeat of this city from the sky, truly embodies the essence of Cairo. The Experience: Ascending Cairo Tower was reminiscent of the city itself – a blend of chaos and beauty. The ride up the elevator was swift, and the bustling atmosphere at the observation deck added to the excitement. I found the best time to visit was just before sunset. Watching the city transition from day to night was a magical experience that can't be put into words. Koshary – A Culinary Revelation From the heights of Cairo Tower, I descended into the streets to indulge in a dish that is intrinsically Egyptian. Koshary, a comfort dish, is the epitome of street food that captures the spirit of Cairo. The Dish: Koshary is a harmonious mix of carbohydrates and textures. Lentils, rice, pasta, and chickpeas are the hearty base, topped with crispy fried onions and drowned in a zesty tomato sauce with a dash of garlic vinegar that provides an explosion of flavors. It's a staple that's both filling and affordable, providing fuel for the day-to-day Egyptian. The Experience: The experience of eating Koshary in a crowded local joint added an authentic touch. The cacophony of the cooks preparing dish after dish and the lively chatter of the diners created an ambiance full of energy. Each bite of Koshary was a delightful blend of different flavors and textures, making it instantly clear why this dish is so beloved in Cairo. It was not just a meal; it was a culinary adventure. Conclusion To the traveler seeking experiences that touch the soul, Cairo offers these in abundance. The Cairo Tower's enchanting views coupled with the bustling area surrounding it and the sheer delight of tucking into a plate of Koshary in an energetic local spot are experiences I recommend to anyone visiting Cairo. These two icons, one towering above the city and the other nestled within the labyrinth of its streets, are testimonials to the city's ability to offer nourishment for the eyes and the stomach alike.Written April 3, 2024
- dellll29910 contributionsA great tourA wonderful tour. Our guide Eraky was very professional and kind. He made it the best experience possible for our last day in Cairo, with showing us the best spots at the pyramids and explaining Egyptian history in detail. He also took a lot of photos for us. The camel ride at sunset was a perfect ending for this tour. Can highly recommend!Written April 20, 2022

Our guide was Zenab, she was very knowledgeable with excellent English.
The tour has set locations but Zenab was very flexible with the time taken at each location to make sure we enjoyed our time and had a great experience, which we did.
She explained any additional entry costs and how to deal with local touts.
A very good tour, it was private for me and my son on a modern mini bus a great day out.

The one day private tour to the pyramids and the Egyptian museum was perfect for my wife and I.
The Pyramids were as unbelievable as I had imagined and the museum was so crammed full of such ancient artifacts that comprehension was difficult.
Our guide Yasser helped unblow our minds and his infectious personality, superb English and knowledge of all things Egyptian was fantastic.
He was ably supported by our driver Tamer who managed to navigate us through a crazy Cairo.
Highly recommended trip with a great team!

Gouda was an exceptional tour guide! He took us to the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, a camel ride around the Pyramids, a papyrus shop, a great local restaurant, and the Egyptian Museum. He was highly knowledgable of Egyptian history and ancient artifacts. He had a great personality and was very eager to answer whatever questions we had (which was a lot). It was an amazing day and we would highly recommend this tour to whoever is planning to visit Egypt! Exceptional!

This was the most amazing tour. My guide Manar and our driver made the day super special! Manar was so fun to hang out with and she’s super passionate about the history. I told her I really wanted a shawarma and she took me to the best place and most of all I appreciated she didn’t push or pressure to have me buy things like other egypt tours.
Highly highly recommend!!!

This is a tour you don't want to miss. I went to Egypt with my gf and sister for a wedding and had time in Cairo to walk around, and rather than wander aimlessly, we signed up for this tour instead. A fantastic decision.
Our tour guide, Manar, knew all the history of Egypt and was the nicest person we met in our trip! The driver was spot on, we never waited more than a couple minutes in between the several stops.
We recommended this tour to all of our friends from the wedding, and they ended up going afterwards. I recommend it to you, as well!

Zenab was the best! She picked us up in the morning with a private driver and began our tour with the Cairo Museum. We went to the pyramids, had lunch there, then we also visited an Egyptian jeweler, a papaya paper/painting place, and an Egyptian oil shop. All 3 experiences were fantastic. Great trip to book for Cairo. Highly recommend!
