Mohamed Hedar is the type of guide that should represent Egypt in front of National Geographic. I booked with ETP and he maintained communication with me the entire time I was anticipating my trip. When I arrived in Cairo he had someone prepared to help me through customs and all of the new travel procedures, I got an air conditioned transport to take me to my amazing hotel and on the way he called me to welcome me to Egypt. This made me so emotional because I arrived really late at night and my layover in London was so long; bearing this in mind, Mohamed made sure to remind me that the stress was over and the trip of a lifetime awaits.
The next day I met Mohamed and he took me to Giza where I got to finally see the pyramids from my dreams. Mohamed is both an educator and an explorer, teaching me about the locations I was expecting and navigating me through the best pathways to adventure. We would see Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo, Downtown, Giza and around. We would always stop for water and bathroom breaks and Mohamed knows the very best food of any city in Egypt. Ask him to take you to get some Kosher or Egyptian fast food, Egyptian pizza or pancakes; he will give you food so good it will put you on cloud 9!
Mohamed would pick the best driver in Cairo to take me places; I loved how he would take care of me, thinking of my needs and taking me to far to reach spots just to show me the best spots for a photo. Mohamed also accompanied me on my trip to Alexandria and showed me the fairytale city. I can go on forever but I want to mention two of the greatest moments of my life. Yes, I just returned recently, however, I’ve been doing this long enough to know when I have built all-time best memories. These two are among the very best:
1.) In Giza I told Mohamed about my obsession with Hercules the Legendary Journeys and how I always fantasized over watching Kevin Sorbo walk through the ancient world on adventures. I have dubbed these, Legendary Journey Walks and I’ve done a lot of them. So Mohamed takes my phone and captures planned candid shots of me walking the roads of Giza with the pyramids in the background. This blew me away! His commitment to my needs was astonishing!
2.) In Alexandria we went to Fort Qaitbey and I cried my eyes out as this was once where the Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. He followed me with my camera catching my reaction at every turn. Afterwards, Mohamed took me to a seafood restaurant that captures the best view of the quay!
I can honestly list every one of the 28 sites we visited together but I certainly don’t want the length of my review to deter weary eyes. Know this: Egypt is the greatest country in the world for adventure, education and relaxation, ETP is the best tour company to meet your needs and Mohamed has a heavenly heart well deserved of your hard earned riches. I should know because I teach junior high and the entire faculty have been following me around everywhere to hear my stories. You’d do good to follow.

I enjoyed the 2 days tour with a great guide and a great friendly man: Mahmoud Mostafa. He’s a very qualified egyptologist who can take you in any place you wish. I personally enjoyed the tour of Old Cairo by walk and the tour at the Egyptian Museum with him, he’ll leave you the time you wish to feel the atmosphere of the places you are visiting and to take pictures once he’s done with all the explanation. The second day we went to Alexandria to see the highlights of the city and everything was amazing. I recommend to ask for him if you are interested in these and other activities in Cairo/Alexandria. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Ask for Emy
My favorite part of my trip was our guide Emy. She was an expert in her field, and she presented her knowledge with so much enthusiasm. In fact, her enthusiasm was contagious! We couldn’t help but ask questions and thirst for all the knowledge she was willing to give us. Not only that, but she was an expert at pinpointing great locations for photo opportunities even in crowds of people. She had such fun tricks to take photos of all the historic places that we visited.

We had an amazing time with our fun and extremely knowledgeable guide Mohsen Hassan. He took us to all of our bucket list destinations, and the lunches were fantastic, he took us to the local restaurants of Cairo and Alexandria, not some Americanized restaurant, so we could taste the real Egyptian food. He packed so much history and knowledge into our tours, we feel like we made real friends with him. we were sad to say goodbye to him and And our amazing driver Saad! I cant imagine touring with any other guide. Next time we come to Egypt they will be the first ones we call.

I can’t express how amazing this trip was. All due to a fantastic tour guide and driver. Guide Mohsen Hassan and driver Saad we’re extremely respectful and knowledgeable. Hassan made the experience through the beautiful and historical sites of Cairo and Alexandria more special than I could have imagined. We left it in Hassan’s hands for local and authentic Egyption restaurants for lunch and he did not disappoint. The food, experience, and information provided throughout the tour was well worth the money and more. I will always recommend this company, guide Hassan, and driver Saad for any future travels.

Aziza made our trip to Cairo and Alexandria extremely pleasant. Our trip involved the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Mummies Museum, riding camels near the pyramids and also a day trip to Alexandria. Aziza was at our hotel on time every morning. Aziza was very welcoming, knowledgeable and supportive throughout our trip. She explained with the right amount of details about all the visited sites. She was extremely patient and helpful as we were traveling with elders and children. The highlight of our time with Aziza was her warm and caring personality, along with the million pictures she took of our family. Because of Aziza we now have memorable pictures that will last us a life time. My boys connect with her and our mom's truly enjoyed having her guide us through Egypt; we miss her already. We definitely recommend Aziza, she is a 5* Tour Guide!!

The Egypt tour with our Scholarly guide Reda was truly a wonderful experience for my best friends Andy birthday trip. We were very fostered and guided throughout the trip and as female traveler's we truly appreciated the hospitality and safety we experienced. Reda was fastidious and captivated us with stories as he knew we Indians have a special love for antiquities and cultural history and even share common history with Egypt. His and his family’s hospitality was unparalleled and his advice for shopping and recommendations for restaurants was invaluable. And he was always at hand for help with any local translations. The experience was truly memorable and makes us wish to Visit egypt again with all its kind people.

We had an amazing experience taking this tour for Cairo, Giza and Alexandria with a private guide and personalized itinerary. The way Egypt tour portal made this whole experience easy going and well drafted as per our need was simply exquisite. Their advice and knowledge regarding all the tourist place and markets were detailed. More than the trip plan they understood me as a customer and my wants. Apart from the place explanation they also give you time to explore the place on your own. I found this to be extremely helpful again. They never pressurized you to buy anything from the vendors they know. This is very rare and I respect that.
Last but not the least about our guide: Yasser Samir. He is one of the best people I ever met. I am saying this after visiting more than 20 countries. He is friendly and professional at the same time. Gels with the customer really well. He may have tried at few places to make money like other guides and tour operators but his charming behavior covers all of that. I would certainly recommend tourists to book via ETP. Thanks to all who made this trip enjoyable for us. Love you all.

It was a truly amazing and memorable experience. Our tour guide Hussam Sabry was so well knowledgeable about every fact and detail. The way he told the stories made it more exciting. It was a trip I would highly recommend.
