          Alexandria is a great city!
It was a real family-friendly tour with Ashraf as our guide, who kept us entertained all the time. The kids were really happy and had a lot of fun. We learned a lot about the Greek and Roman history of Egypt. Lunch was outstanding overlooking the Mediterranean. We do recommend this tour.

          Great Alexandria tour from Cairo
It was very family friendly tour with Zenab as out guide. We did enjoy every bit of it. Learning a lot about the Greek & Roman history of Egypt while exploring the Catacombs, Pompey's pillar. We learned about modern history through the New Library of Alexandria. Lunch was great overlooking the Mediterranean.

Great Alexandria tour with Tree of life tours
Stepping back in time of ancient conquerors and unrivalled knowledge, our private day trip to Alexandria was an experience draped in historical grandeur and Mediterranean charm. Led by the incredibly knowledgeable Zenab, our adventure rewound to the days of Alexander the Great. We descended into the Roman Catacombs, with its eerie chambers. Standing before the soaring Pompey's pillar, we were left awestruck. Yet, it was the disc - shaped marvel of the New Alexandria Library, that took our breath away. Amid these wonders, a delectable seafood lunch awaited us. Zenab's expertise shone brightest here, as she wove the city's past with its lively present. Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a taste of Egypt's historical treasures in a single, unforgettable day trip.

Thank you Zenab for such a great tour. Pickup was punctual. It took about 3 hours drive. It was a great opportunity for Mr to see and explore a different part of Egypt and a different era than Ancient Egyptian era. Lunch was great and we had it whole looking at the Mediterranean.

Great for a long layover in Cairo
We had a wonderful time! Very thorough communication with our guide and super easy pick up and drop off from the airport. We started early on Friday so there were very few people around. We felt a little rushed at the pyramids and only got to take pictures with the great pyramid. would have liked to spend a little more time wondering around or seeing the other ones. The camel rides were my kids favorite. They also offer a carriage ride if you’d prefer. The camels looked really healthy and well taken care of. We spent a large portion of the tour be taken to shops, oils, papyrus, jewelry. Tip: despite the shop owner saying you can bring the oils in your carry on you cannot and will make you check it if you have a suitcase to put it in. We ended up using my husbands day bag to check them. Lunch was good with a view overlooking the pyramids. The museum was interesting and our guide was really knowledgeable. We were discouraged from visiting the market though it didn’t look any more intense than ones we’ve seen in other parts of the worlds like Istanbul, Delhi, or Beijing. For a long layover and ease of getting around and hitting the highlights of the city this was a perfect choice.

Thanks for your professionalism and dedication Mimo
I initially shared my disappointment in a recent tour experience with Tree of Life Day Tours, where the promised itinerary did not align with the delivered tour. However, I'm pleased to update my feedback to highlight the positive resolution that ensued. Following my complaint, tour guide Mimo from Tree of Life Day Tours proactively reached out to address my concerns. He not only acknowledged the discrepancies but also provided a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. Moreover, Mimo assured me that steps were being taken to update the itinerary, preventing future customers from encountering a similar discrepancy. I appreciate Mimo's responsiveness and commitment to resolving the issue. While the initial experience fell short of expectations, the proactive steps taken to address the concerns have positively influenced my perception. It's encouraging to witness a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement within the tour company.

          Wonderful tour through Cairo!
Our favorite tour of the trip! Absolutely wonderful day with our guide, Rania. She is a total professional. The tour through Cairo was thorough but not overwhelming and we were impressed by her knowledge of everything. She is scholarly but makes the information accessible and understandable, so that our 9-year old was also engaged and following along. Rania is a wealth of information about the various exhibits at the Egyptian Museum and showed us all the highlights with in -depth and serious explanations. We saw so many things throughout the day --- the citadel, the Nile by boat, Coptic Cairo, just street scenery's, and our guide explained everything along the way and took our questions seriously. What we enjoyed the most about this tour, though, was our guide's warmth and willingness to answers all of our questions about modern Egyptian society, food --- everything. Furthermore, I appreciate her honesty and that there were no factory tours or trying to get us to buy things from shops. The felucca ride was wonderful and lunch at a local cafe was highly enjoyable. We loved eating local food. We wholeheartedly recommend Rania as a guide and we loved this tour!

Absolutely Amazing! Far exceeded our Expectations. Safe, efficient, relaxed and well organized.
Absolutely Amazing! My Fiance and I got the 8-Hour Private Tour of the Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Bazaar from Cairo, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience! Things we appreciate: - Fast, efficient, and safe transportation around Cairo. (Personal Driver) - Very detailed day plan with flexibility - Tickets for all events were pre purchased so almost no lines. - We were also brought to multiple high quality, authentic, stores around Ciaro as well as the Bazaar. - Lunch was amazing and very well done! (Included in our price minus drinks) - Our tour guide organized our Camel ride for us. - Our tour guide (Amr Mousa), also an Egyptologist, was exceptionally knowledgeable. Throughout the whole tour he was friendly and clearly very excited to do his job. This was especially helpful with the tour of the museum where all the information he was teaching us throughout the day really came together with his explanation of almost every exhibit. - Having our own driver for the day made it very convenient to leave belongings in a secure vehicle with the driver, in-between activities. (Especially helpful for shopping) I can't possibly cover the entire day, however, this experience far exceeded our expectations. I will definitely be recommending this experience to anyone I know, coming to Cairo.

          Absolutely amazing
This was by far the best tour I took in Egypt. My tour guide Fatima Muhammad was hads down the best tour guide I've met. She was very patient wasn't pushy at all. Her English was so good. Most tour guides I could barley understand. She took me to some amazing spots and helped me get by. The driver was also very patient and kind. I would highly recommend her. It was a calm day and I needed a chill tour guide. I wouldn't want anyone else. She was also an amazing photographer

It is really hard to choose what part of the day (experience) was the best..The best part of the day was being able to experience the passion and understanding that Mo conveys about Egyptology and the Egyptian people in every place and conversation that we had this day ! Fascinating, intelligent , humble and kind ..One is as integral as the next to be able to experience Egypt! We are def coming back to this place ! Egypt is magical .. Our Thanks to Mo for everything and everything he is!

I booked everything at last minute and I’m very glad that I did it. Special thanks to Ahmed and Mohamed for this amazing tour during the Ramadan. My guid was Ahmed Abu Emirah, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was taking his time to answer all my questions, even taking very nice pictures. He gave really nice recommendations about the food, places to see, and etc… I could learn a lot about the Egypt. and really convinced that I should plan another trip to see more. I highly recommend Tree of Life Tours and Ahmed.

Ashraf picked us up at the hotel 15 mins late, which was so amazing. I wanted to check into my flight the next day and he patiently waited until the check in was open.

We started the day at the hanging church, he brought us cold water and walked around. At every attraction there was lots of information but also a bit of time to spend alone checking it out.

We then went to the pyramids. It was very hot and he waited with an umbrella after advising against the buying of things from the locals. Great advice as we were bombarded the moment we left the car. He had a lot of local knowledge and good tips on great photos. He's also vey funny and we spent the day laughing and joking!

Lunch was great. We were given the option of chicken and kebabs, or street food. We choose the local eatery, and it was the BEST shwarma I've ever had! He eat with us for awhile and then gave us some time to enjoy the rest of our meal. That was one of the most amazing things about him. He reads his audience so well. We had him within a moments notice, but it was never intrusive, and my partner and I felt like we had some time to ourselves too. Such a fantastic quality in a guide.

The museum was last. We were both very hot and tired, and he showed us the high lights, and again, could see that we were both needing a break.

There is nothing I would say would improve the experience, he was one of the best guides I have ever come across. As a professional tourist that has taken hundreds of tours, and visited 64 countries, I would ask anyone to look up Ashraf if they come to Cairo. I would spend an entire week touring with him if we had the time!

We started at 8 am and went straight to the Giza Pyramids. Since this was just the two of us with a private guide, Ashraf, it turned out to be a very flexible and wonderful tour. We shopped at 2 fabulous places for jewelry and papyrus and then had a lovely lunch. We then saw Old Cairo and the Bazaar. The Tree of Life tour company is first rate. We highly recommend it!

We booked a private tour for two families to visit the Pyramids, Citadel and the Cairo Museum. We really had a great time and Ashraf, our guide, made our day very special. We were traveling with 5 small children what requires a bit of extra time and patience and we got both. Ashraf took very good care of us, driving us through Cairo, its culture, and of course the history of the places we visited. He was very kind and thorough, taking the time to explain and reply to all of our questions in a way that kept us captive of the amazing things we were seeing. Definitively it was a great experience and he was also very nice with the kids, always patient and understanding... as Ashraf himself would say, that's normal when you are with the best guide in the world :-) ! (lol)

I never actually went on this tour. I had scheduled a private two-day tour in Cairo and paid a deposit. I was communicating with Ashraf from Tree of Life. After I paid the deposit Tree of Life stopped responding to me. They didn't answer my emails or my calls never picked me up or gave me a tour. Quite simply they stole my money. Maybe take a risk and they give you a tour but was not the case for me. Use another tour company.

We had a Marvelous time on this full day tour!! Our tour guide was Achraf and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time touring the Pyramids. there are good guides in egypt, but no one can be better than Achraf. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to provide an immense amount of history in a fun and interesting way, Definitely would recommend them to anyone visiting Egypt. Ask for Achraf to be your guide. You will not be disappointed. Also, I had to mention this, our driver Hazem was a great driver, In Egypt driving is a difficult task, however with Hazem it was a smooth journey. After finishing our journey visiting the pryramids and Cairos Old town, we went on a dinner cruise, where our guide was Ahmed, he was prompt, kind, knowledgeable very nice guy that made our experience on board fantastic. it was an amazing journey!!

We contacted Khaled on a recommendation from a friend who had recently been to Egypt and we were not disappointed. Khaled picked us up form the airport and has a phenomenal knowledge of all of Egypt. We were lucky enough to see the Museum, the hanging church, the pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx, along with a visit to a perfume shop and a papyrus shop. Khaled was very helpful and honest with us (especially about customs and the like for tipping etc) and made sure we were well looked after throughout the day. He also knew the best spots for all the photos - we will be back in a heartbeat and would definitely use him again - we have already recommended him to someone else.
