Pickup was scheduled for 09:00, wasn’t collected until after midday. Was trying to make contact from previous day using the WhatsApp number provided but no response from Trip Adviser or local guide. Finally got answer from local organisation after 9 o’clock and they were not even notified by Trip Advisor of the booking. Guide was eventually contacted at nearby 10 o’clock ( he sent me a copy of the message to prove it and show it was not his fault) . Pick up driver went to wrong hotel. No communication to say what the arrangements were with the driver and his English was limited. Rushed from place to place. I had to buy entry tickets to pyramids myself using my own Visa card even though it was all paid as part of the package and then get the money back from the guide. Guide managed to persuade security to let us into a pyramid and was constantly shouted at to hurry up. Got about 2 minutes at the Sphinx and no time for photo kissing the sphinx. No time for the 30min camel ride included. Didn’t get to do the distant view of the Pyramids to get the special photo of holding a pyramid as the pyramids park was closing. Not a 5* lunch, 3 star at best. Missed half of the time allocated to the tour and Trip Advisor only refunded 10%. Very very disappointing and Trip Advisor should be more helpful.

Tour was great, Mimo knew all the great spots to get photos around the pyramids at the Giza plateau, very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions, would recommend to others!

What can I say? We would not have been able to see and learn as much about Cairo and ancient Egypt in one day without this tour. With Fatima as a tour guide, we had so much fun and learnt so much! As a family of four, we had a great day - so full of sights, sounds, and a fantastic first exposure to Cairo and all of its amazing scenery. Fatima is the perfect guide - well educated and proud of her beautiful country and its history, flexible and intuitive to what we needed to see as tourists, and enthusiastic!

Mahmoud Hoka was great at guiding me through the Giza pyramids and other trip exhibits. He picked me up on time, provided an overview of the day, and helped me learn so much about the different history of Egypt. He made this an amazing trip. It did not disappoint. Highly recommend it!

A wonderful, informative, well-paced tour of the key sites in Cairo and Giza. It would be nearly impossible to see all of these sites yourself in one day, but Phoebe, my guide, did it. The hassle of buying tickets to places was eliminated, as she came equipped with tickets. Phoebe gave a great tour of the Egyptian Museum, which helped the chaotic museum make sense. I'd highly, highly recommend!

What a day!!! My husband and I were in town for only one day on our way back to the US from a 3 week cruise in Asia. Turns out our day spent with our guide Mahmoud Hoka on this tour was the best part of our entire trip. Not only did he show us Cairo's incredible sites like the Pyrimids, Sphinx and Egyptian museum, he also introduced us to many incredible reliable artisans that demonstrated the uniqueness of the city. Mahmoud's love and knowledge for the city and Eygpt's history was felt and appreciated. He seemed to know everyone in town! It was a joy to spend a day with him and his very kind and reliable driver. A very very highly recommend this tour and specifically requesting Mahmoud Hoka as your guide.

We had magical day on our 8-hour private tour of Cairo & Giza! Phoebe, our guide, was a wonderful, friendly, and informative companion throughout our day and our driver was patient & prompt! I appreciated that I was contacted by text a couple days in advance to confirm our booking and ask if there was anything special we would like to include in our tour…. a very professional touch which set the tone for the entire tour. We started the day right at 8am with prompt pickup as scheduled. Phoebe found us in our hotel lobby and guided us to our car. The car was very clean and comfortable, and the driver provided bottled water which was appreciated throughout the long day of tours. Driving in Cairo is not for the faint of heart, so we were grateful to have an experienced and capable driver guiding us safely and efficiently throughout the city! Speaking of efficiency, Phoebe and our guide had perfect coordination throughout the day, with “curbside” drop offs and pickups to breeze in and out of our many stops! This was much appreciated as it was not only very convenient but allowed us to maximize our time in Cairo! We began our tour in Giza with an amazing morning at the pyramids and the Great Sphinx. This was my second time to this World Heritage Sight but no less magical and impressive than the first time! Phoebe was informative, sharing tips and facts with a casual and conversational ease that made the day relaxed and enjoyable. She also knew all the great spots for photos and doubled as a photographer for us capturing some great pictures! A camel ride was included in our tour - a highlight of the trip! Please remember extra cash to tip your camel guide as these individuals work hard to ensure a safe and memorable experience. Afterwards, Phoebe suggested a couple places to shop for quality local goods including a perfume shop where we saw a nice glass blowing demonstration and a private (but NOT pushy) presentation of the various oils and scents available for purchase. We also went to a local cotton shop which had higher quality goods (wearables, scarves, pashminas, and Egyptian cotton household goods) than you find at the bazaar. Our morning ended with a lovely lunch (included) at a rooftop restaurant with amazing views of the pyramids. After lunch we visited the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Again, Phoebe demonstrated her knowledge of ancient Egypt and her familiarity of the museum by guiding us efficiently through all the key artifacts and pieces in the museum. One thing I appreciated throughout the day was how Phoebe managed to somehow always be quietly accessible while still maintaining some distance so you could have a personal and private experience. This is a real talent in a tour guide! We ended our day with a trip to the Kahn El-Khalili bazaar… a must-see in Cairo even if you are not a shopper! This lively market is an immersion in the colorful sights of old Cairo and a great opportunity to pickup some inexpensive souvenirs and fantastic Instagram photo ops! We had plenty of time to enjoy the sites and never felt rushed, despite a packed agenda! The price of this tour is incredibly reasonable for what’s included. We were happy to include tips for our guide and driver for such a memorable and enjoyable day!! It was a perfect experience which I would highly recommend!!
