About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Fredsaab0 contributionsA perfect day in Gizah, Saqqarah & DashuriIman, our guide, was so kind, always smiling and knew his subject well. She never put pressure on us, we went at our own speed without feeling that we were delaying her. And what about our driver, efficient without being intrepid. His car was impeccable as was his driving. I recommend without hesitation, a perfect day!Written April 27, 2023

We spent 3 night from Asswan to Luxor in a quiet and enjoyable stay. - nali90090 contributionsGiza Pyramids & SphinxSeeing the pyramids along with the Sphinx has been on my bucket list since I was a child. I’m so glad that I booked my tour with them! Ahmed is so knowledgeable on everything there and Mohammed is a very comfortable driver in that hectic traffic! The lunch was also sooo good! Not only did I have an amazing tour guide with a great driver but I also got to taste authentic Egyptian food, do a bit of souvenir shopping, go inside the pyramid and ride on a beautiful camel! Thank you both!! If you’re looking for first class service with great English and someone you can trust then Ahmed is your guy! Wishing them both lots of more business!Written March 24, 2021
- Edward_Brooklyn_NYC0 contributionsDream trip to EgyptIt was an amazing trip. I read many reviews online and did a lot of research before decided to take my family of 4 to vacation in Egypt. I sent emails with questions to customize my trip and received very detailed respond from Mr. Bassam Wageih, tour operator of Let's Explore Egypt. After a few back and force emails he put together excellent package for us. While in Egypt we had a very professional guide with warm personality that made whole experience very special for us. He's name is Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud. Mohammed learned our preferences and each step of the way provided us choices and made trip to Egypt vacation of lifetime. In Giza and Alexandria we chose how much time we wanted to visit each place and enjoyed extras like visit 2nd largest pyramid in Giza and excellent Egyptian restaurant in Cairo. We didn't find any issues related to COVID pandemic and were wearing masks when it was necessary. On a plus side there wasn't any crowds or lines to visit attractions. I also want to say thank you to our driver of large, very comfortable minivan. Thank you Bassam and Mohammed!Written November 30, 2020

I even got over my fears and went into 2 pyramids! Such a great experience. They made us feel safe and we had no worries at all. Words can’t explain how great this tour was. They were really nice to us, it was great!!! If you are visiting Egypt, you should definitely book this tour.Written October 28, 2020
- Easy19450 contributions3 day private tour to Alexandria & pyramidsMahmoud provided and excellent tour demonstrating great knowledge of Ancient & current day Egypt & its relationship to other civilizations/ cultures and practices. Mahmoud understands & can relate the current day world situation. We also appreciated some enjoyable lunches. We appreciated a very skilled and safe driver named Abanub.Written February 17, 2020
- Xuân P0 contributionsGood tour. Few things that could be improvedPros: - Mohamed and hosam. Very nice guide and very nice driver. With a lot of good information. -cairo tour was the best. Cons: - The small shops that we stopped in between was for us a bit unnecessary, and we felt a bit pressure to buy something from those shops. But we didnt. We felt like there was some kind of cooperation between the shops and let's explore Egypt. - the tour guide in luxor was friendly, but still, We could feel he wasn't much into the job and work half hearted, which wasn't very nice. His English wasn't the best aswell.Written February 4, 2020
- gopalponnuram0 contributionsEgypt Highlights TourWe booked this 4 day Egypt tour covering the Pyramids,Valley of Temples, Cairo Museum, Cairo markets, Nile river boat trip, visit to Luxor and Alexandria. Our local tour operator was Let"s Explore Egypt. We are fortunate to have an excellent guide Rania and driver Islam. Our guide is a knowledgeable person and she explained the history and relevance of the places very well. Her English is excellent . She also flexible and changed the pick up times and rest breaks based on our need. One suggestion is to change the itinerary - Day 3 going to Luxor ,the return flight is late at night( we arrived at our Cairo hotel at 2 am) and then leave on Day 4 to Alexandria at 4 am. If Luxor is on Day 2 then day 3 Cairo local trips makes it better. Please consider this change. I would highly recommend using Let's Explore Tour company and the guide Rania.Written January 15, 2020
- Zadoo B0 contributionsAttractions fantastic, I would not advise this tour guide and/or companyThey were on time but I found the guide sullen and demanding. He always wanted me to listen to him even when at times it was obvious I just wanted silence to enjoy my surroundings. Also entrance tickets are not listed in exclusions and my emails to ask them to ask about this were ignored. On the day, I was asked to pay for entrance tickets. They are not an honest groupWritten January 12, 2020

- sandilipa0 contributionsNEVER AGAIN!I do not recommend this tour. They're late 3 HOURS! And then all of it was running from a place to another because of the opening hours. Also, we had to skip Memphis. When we asked for a refund in the morning, the owner said that he was giving us a percentage of it, till now......Written December 18, 2019

Our trip started with pick up from the hotel . We got a private tour with our amazing guide Mimo and the sweet driver Ahmed. Mimo was fantastic, explaining the history at each of the spots we went to - Pyramids Sphinx and Saqara. Hevis knowledgeable about the history of each of the monuments and has the knack of explaining it crisp without boring you :) He was very patient allowing us plenty of time to explore each spot and taking a lot of lovely photos for us at every spot. Would absolutely recommend Mimo. Probably best would be to ask specifically for him. We had a fantastic day, one to remember for sure!

Whoa, what experience! Our guide Heba makes feel so at ease and comfortable. Her knowledge; history facts and general facts of all sites visited were more than we expect it. She was easy going, very experience and her English was great! I will make sure to ask for her next time, she made our visit a great time.

Had a great day tour to Saqqara with Susie. We were picked up on time and on the way she stopped to get us water and side before heading to the desert. We were told what to expect on the tour and what to watch out for.
The Pyramid and tombs were amazing and the history! There was a film crew filming inside the tomb so it was closed to the public but Susie talked the head into letting us in for 5 minutes. She made sure we got the best photo shots and that vendors didn’t harass us.
When we were exiting the area of the pyramids we noticed there were a lot of carpet schools and she asked if we’d like to go see how the carpets are made. Heck yes. It was ,cool to see how silk and wool carpets are made and that the government has the young children taught there so they will have a trade to sustain them in life.
On the way back to hotel she asked if we’ve had any Egyptian food outside the hotel and offered to take a to a local spot for take out. Susie bought us land shawarmas and they were delish! I forgot the name of it.
Susie is so warm, friendly, informative and personable. Let’s explore Egypt is a good tour company who I forgot to mention they changed this tour for me at the last minute for no additional cost.
I can’t wait to schedule my next trip to Egypt in 2020 when the Grand Museum opens in Giza!

Family of four, we had a day trip to pyramids, Memphis and Saqqara guided by Mustafa. Our guide was very kind and knowledgeable, he showed us around while he explained and told the story behind the buildings and the different historical places. He also took many pictures of us so we can always look back and remember those moments. It was always a dream to see these places in real life, specially the pyramids.
We also rode on camels and had traditional Egyptian lunch.
It was a very nice trip, and even though it was only a day we experienced a lot and had a great time. Thanks to Mustafa

Our tour guide, Mustafa, was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Despite a misunderstanding based on how the Trip Advisor description was written (the only exclusion listed was gratuities, when in reality the entry fees were all excluded), he was very professional and tried to seek clarification from the tour company. He has a wealth of information, is passionate about Egyptian history, and studied archaeology. Having koshary lunch with him was like having lunch with a longtime friend.
I wish we could have brought him along with us for the rest of our travels in Egypt!
