I would highly recommend this tour if you want to cover a lot of things but only have limited time. My guide Eslam was great - communication was fantastic before the tour and in the morning before pick up, he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and was on hand to take great photos throughout the trip! Given how shops were closed on the day of my booking the Bazaar visit did not make much sense, so we adjusted the tour itinerary to keep it as exciting and interesting as possible which I really appreciated. I was provided with fresh cold water during the day which was perfect, and Eslam called to double check that a vegetarian lunch was available for me at the restaurant. As a female solo traveller I felt super comfortable throughout the day. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

A truly fabulous and private personalised experience. Our guide Nour was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had, as he’s a former college teacher he knew so much! It was just me and my partner and Nour made sure we wasn’t getting harassed and even managed to get us money off some souvenirs. The driver Salah was brilliant as well, picked us up right on time everywhere we went in his lovely air conditioned minivan. We started off the day going straight to the Giza pyramids complex and we paid extra to go inside of the Great Pyramid. Nour gave us a lot of insight into the history of the pyramids as we were walking to them. We then went to the camel ride, unfortunately only lasted around 10 minutes but we got some lovely pictures. We then went around to the sphinx and Nour told us even more about that. It was like our own private lecture. After that we went to a place called Siwa Essence oils where we got a private session smelling all the different perfumes and oils. We then went to an art gallery where we were able to buy papyrus art. After that we had lunch which was really nice, a variety of options. We then went onto the Bazaar and finally the museum. Nour gave us a quick tour around the most important artefacts giving us more insight about them before letting us go around the whole museum on our own. After that we were dropped back to our hotel. Altogether it was a lovely personal and private experience and would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience wish Zenab and the awesome driver! My best friend came to visit me in Egypt and I knew the best way to see as much of Cairo in one day as possible was with a guide.

This was a great tour to cover all your basics in Cairo and Zenab was fantastic with her knowledge connections and overall good attitude on the tour. She even arranged for us to take a felucca ride which wasn’t on the tour itinerary For a very affordable price at the last minute.

I’ve done other tours in Cairo and Giza Pyramids in particular and this one was by far the best when it came to the camel ride. You should book a tour like this one where the camel riding is behind the pyramids. The view is just as good if not better it’s and it’s safer for the camels and is more enjoyable ride for you. pyramids in particular and this one was by far the best when it came to the camel ride. You should book a tour like this one where the camel riding is behind the pyramids. We did visit souvenir shops after the pyramids but the places and shops we visited were selected because they make the products in Egypt and in the traditional ways. There is an approval system from the Egyptian government which the tour guide explained to us. So we were happy to shop here, where we know The products we bought are actually Egyptian and not made in China.

We had lunch overlooking the Sphinx and pyramids which was the traditional Egyptian lunch. It was delicious and filling. We had to pay for drinks which I think were 50 LE for various soft drinks. This is actually a pretty fair price for a tourist area which was interesting as we expected it to be expensive because we were just paying for drinks.

We then went to the Egyptian Museum and did the highlight tour and then we stay to see the things we wanted to see the most. The tour is totally customisable and you can add whatever you need to see in the museum or spend longer at the pyramids etc.

We still had time after the museum so we were able to take the Felucca ride which Zenab organised for us quickly and efficiently and for a great price(Obviously not included in the tour price) . I found her to be totally trustworthy and kind, funny and provided information on places we are driving past but not stopping.

By the time we got to Khan Al Khalili the sun was setting and we had a beautiful dusk view of the market. We did shopping there too and by the time we got back to our hotel it was 7 pm after leaving at 8 am.

They really packed in as much as I could and I really appreciate it. By the time we got to con alkali the sun was setting and we had a beautiful sunset view of the market. I would recommend booking this tour without hesitation.

We started the tour at the pyramids after our very knowledgeable egyptologist tour guide, Mimo, explained to us the history of Egypt and the ancient pyramids. Mimo speaks great english, is very interactive and fun and can answer any question you throw at him. He took us inside the central pyramid and then for a very fun camel ride with a great view of all 3 pyramids.

After that we went to see the sphinx and the mummification temple which was an incredible experience!

We were then taken to a local family run aromatherapy store, which created some amazing natural scents with no alcohol, giving a longer lasting smell and health benefits. We then went to a local papyrus shop which had amazing art pieces that you could even buy customised with your name for as little as 20 USD.

After that we had a great lunch with local food that was included within the tour price with some starters, a mixed grill main and some fruit for after.

We had some additional time due to traffic so visited a local Egyptian cotton shop and then went to the museum in cairo to see some amazing sarcophagi and King Tut’s treasure.

Finally we visited the local bazaar and for the experience, we weren’t hassled too much and Mimo was very helpful with not allowing this.

Would 100% recommend the tour with Mimo and the best driver, Zimo! Zimo drove very professionally and we felt very safe, very nice condition car and was always there to pick us up when we finished a particular part.

They also kindly dropped us at the train station and walked in with us to make sure it was the right place.

Thanks Mimo and Zimo for a fantastic experience in Cairo in such a short time!

A great private tour by Mimo and the driver Zimo. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a full day in Cairo and see the culture without being overwhelmed :)

They pick you up from your place of stay, provide water and lunch, drive you everywhere so your time outside (especially in hot weather) is minimal, even at pyramids (distances are big). They drop you off as well. It is incredibly convenient, considering crazy distances and traffic in Cairo.

Special note about lunch, they accommodate to the best of the ability any dietary requirements. We were provided with good vegan (plant based) options of local cuisine.

The tour itself is very interesting, the guide is a egyptolygist himself and very passionate about history and culture of Egypt. His enthusiasm and knowledge really make you immerse yourself fully in ancient Egypt magic.

As part of the tour you also visit an old aromatherapy family-owned business with most exquisite natural oils and perfumes (you will definitely want to buy something so bring your credit card or cash), lovely souvenir shop with local high quality produce (a lot of jewellery, pure gold and silver) and you will finally learn how to make a papyrus.

I highly recommend A VERY EARLY START (7.30 am), because not only the weather at pyramids site will barbecue you a bit (even in October-November), but also amount of tourists and school trips (Friday and Saturday predominantly) and hustlers at the market there will ruin your pictures and maybe even mood :D

Thank you Mimo and Zimo for a very memorable day and great pictures for life 👍

An incredible tour that is worth every single penny. Mimo (Mahmoud) and Yaser picked us up at our hotel promptly at 8 am. We had constantly been communicating on Whatsapp, so we had everything well planned out. The van was large and air-conditioned, which would come in handy as a cooling spot between spots. Mimo is an archeologist, so we loved not only his knowledge but also his passion for Egypt's history.

Our first stop was the pyramids and as we drove along the highway, Mimo explained some of the things we saw and tips on culture and the history of Egypt. Once we got to the pyramids, Mimo explained how it worked and avoided all the vendors. He took care of our tickets and guided us into the complex. You can tell he loves the pyramids as he is very passionate when he speaks about them, which made them come alive for my colleague and me. I should also note that this is a private tour, so it was just the two of us on tour.

The complex was not very crowded at all in the morning and it felt like we had the entire area almost to ourselves. Mimo explained the history of the pyramids and also where to take the best pictures. We purchased a ticket to go into one of the pyramids and while it was hot, it was well worth it to climb into the heart of the pyramid. Keep in mind that it can get a little claustrophobic in the tunnel.

Mimo's passion was felt throughout our entire tour, including the National Museum of Cairo, where you can see the King Tut Artifacts and the Khan El-Khalili Bazar. We also had lunch at a local restaurant and we enjoyed the kabobs immensely.

I know some will wonder about Covid and both Mimo and Yaser were vaccinated and my colleague and me. Most of the locals do not wear masks, but employees at hotels do. The crowds are pretty light at the major tourist attractions, so we feel that this was completely worth it.

This was definitely one of my top tours and I take them to almost every destination we travel to.

Amazing experience! Manar was THE BEST guide! She was so accommodating and knowledgeable. She started the day off with a quick text to let us know she was waiting at our hotel. In the private van on the way to the pyramids she gave us detailed information about the day, and even stopped to pick up some extra water for us. At the pyramids she helped take our stroller and take picture of us all together that turned out really beautiful. She was quick to answer all my kids questions and very patient with our 2 year old making us feel very comfortable and never rushed!! She coordinated a special vegetarian lunch, and a separate kids plate with food they would actually eat. She had treats for us in the car when the kids had meltdowns, knew where all the bathrooms where and even introduced us to the best salespeople in each shop that we went to. Her kindness will not be forgotten!!

This tour was absolutely amazing!! Our tour guide Amal was fantastic! She communicated with us the day before and picked us up from our hotel. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Egypt and provided us with tremendous insight on everything. We started off going to the pyramids with a camel ride (which was so much fun), then we went to the Great Sphinx. After that we went to a few different shops, one with essential Egyptian oils, a papyrus store wheee they showed us how it’s made from the papyrus plant, and then went to a fixed price Bazaar. We picked up some amazing fixed prices souvenirs at each stop! Amal then took us to a local restaurant for lunch which was delicious! We then went to the Egyptian museum, where Amal gave us an amazing tour and provided us with rich history of all of the artifacts on display. Finally, we went to the Khan Al-Khalili bazaar where we shopped with multiple vendors. Overall, this tour was absolutely amazing because of Amal! She was so patient, inviting and personable. We are so happy she was our tour guide and we hope that we can meet her again. Thank you Amal and thank you to the driver for keeping us safe throughout our tour of Cairo!! 5 stars all around!!!!

Mimo the tour guide was amazing along with Yessar our private driver. Both gentlemen were extremely kind, courteous, patient and attentive to my group and I. We were shown the beautiful pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian museum, a very interesting original papyrus shop, an aromatherapy shop, a camel ride at the pyramids, traditional Egyptian food and even downtown Cairo! Every single destination was lovey and Mimo was highly knowledgeable in every area of the trip and explained things lovely. If you are traveling to Cairo, Egypt I would highly recommend you booking a tour with Mimo and Yessar as you will receive an amazing value at a great rate as well as two awesome individuals. We had a very good time with them, thanks so much guys!
