This was an incredible experience for us. Intsar and Nabeel were so professional and kind and made our experience wonderful. They really went above in beyond in accommodating us and Intsar’s knowledge about the area was excellent. Great value for the experience! Highly recommend this tour, thanks again!

I was picked up at my hotel, in fact my guide and driver were earier than the time specified. My guide was very knowledgable and interesting, also extremely proud (rightly so) of his country. He spent the drive to Dahshur telling me the facts and history, which was great as it meant that I could enjoy taking photos and seeing the sights tranquily especially as most of the time there were no other tourists. The museum is small but interesting. I paid extra to go into another tomb in Saqqara, which was worth every penny, as still lots of artwork and colours to be seen. A highly recommendable tour.

Ahmed delivered a great day. He is a licensed guide who attended 2 additional years of school (after college) to master Egyptian history and to earn his license. We had 3 guides while in Egypt (Giza, Ahmed, and then in Luxor) and Ahmed was our favorite. He is very knowledgable, is fun and speaks excellent easy-to-understand English. He picked us (family with 2 teens) up out our hotel in Giza and took us to the Step Pyramid, Red Pyramid and Memphis. And then ended the day at a local restaurant/venue that provided a full Egyptian mixed-grill meal before returning us. Again, all as expected and described and a really enjoyable day. We'd highly recommend Ahmed for all tours in Egypt.

This trip was absolutely perfect - although it took a bit longer than advertized. You get a much better understanding of the extent of pyramid-building than just visiting the Giza plateau. The Saqqara area is amazing and you could spend hours just there. But Mohammad was excellent in showing us the important places - and accomodated us in adding a visit to an extra tomb. Entering the two pyramids was also a fantastic experience.

Having a free day in Cairo I signed up for a private tour of Memphis, and the Dahshur Pyramids. Memphis was remarkable, but the highlight was actually going inside the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid. Plan on doing some step climbing to reach the entrances and climbing down a steep ramp like a ladder inside the pyramids. You will be amazed!!! One hint, if the tour guide offers to take you to see how they weave rugs or make paper, DECLINE the offer. You will experience high pressure sales to buy their product, unless you are looking for an Egyptian rug or papaya paper.

Mohammed Salah was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about each of the sites we visited. Don't miss the burial chamber of Teti and the nearby tombs, which have beautifully preserved hieroglyphs. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the pyramids away from the crowds. An unbelievable experience, and a wonderful guide.

We visited Sakkara, Dashur and Memphis.
Ahmed was very knowledgeable , informative and professional.
He was very patient when we stayed a little longer at some stops. He took his time to explain things to us. We never felt rushed
The ride was very comfortable and smooth.
We really enjoyed the snacks he bought for us. And really appreciated him answering all the questions we had.
We would highly recommend Emo Tours and especially Ahmed Hamed. Ask for him when booking your tour.

Our guide Amr greeted us at our hotel and we headed out towards Memphis.
On the way we stopped off and Amr bought us a traditional Flafal wrap and delicious sugar drink which we wouldn't have experienced if we were on our own.
We talked the whole drive out to Memphis and the first stepped pyramid about Ancient Egypt and Amr was both extremely knowledgeable and humorous.
The three sites were well worth a visit and having a one to one guide and driver invaluable.
Needless to say the lasting memories of Cairo are not just the amazing wonders that you see but the people that you meet. The trip wouldn't have been as memorable without Amr, so much so that we booked another trip to the pyramids, through Emo tours and had Amr as our guide.
I can't recommend Emo tours and Amr highly enough for two seemless days in Cairo.

My father and I had visited the great pyramid, the Egyptian Museum, the Sphinx, and a famous bazaar the day before. And truthfully our guide was one of the best which lead us to have perhaps unrealistic expectations. Everything started off well, but our guide Ahmed's act quickly wore off. We later found out he claimed to have been a guide for 20 years, and it definitely showed, he could not wait to get over with the day, our mere existence seemed to annoy him, and he took every opportunity to cut corners, take a smoke break, or quiz us on things "we should already know". He is obviously disenchanted with his profession, and I cannot blame him, but although it may have been his 10,000 tour, it was only our second tour in Egypt. It was a real shame because the sites we visited were amazing and our driver was extremely friendly and professional. After a mediocre guided day, Ahmed pressured us to make sure we gave him a good review, that he "expected" rather than earned. We still tipped him, which also was very blatantly expected, unlike our previous guides who only expected our gratuity out of grace. What a shame.

Despite it being Eid, thankfully the city does not stop for tourists! Compared to the Giza Pyramids, there were less tourists which made it far easier to access the shafts as you didn’t feel rushed to get through. I wish we had started with this tour first as after squeezing through the the shafts in Giza my thighs killed! Essam was highly informative although perhaps given I could tell my teenager struggled to retain focus, some humour could have been thrown into the facts. We were looked after and the juice drinks were yummy!

The tour was supposed to be half-day. We started a bit late though but our guide gave us ample time to view around so it took us late in the afternoon to finish.

The guide picked us up at 8 am from Le Meridien Pyramid and brought us back by 3 pm. I think that much time was more than enough for visiting Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur. However, you can request some extra time if you wish to (but personally I don't think you'll need it it). Don't miss going inside the Red Pyramid in Sakkara. It is very steep but totally worth it!
