- Jonathan Y00Fantastic timeGreat experience! Highly recommended. We especially enjoyed walking through the market beforehand, and the food we made was delicious.
- camillecW2318RI00Very good !Very good experience. The ingredients were qualitative and the meal was very good ! I learned a lot and I hope I can redo the recipes soon thanks to the recipe book 😉
- sarahmjones2600Expensive but good experienceOverall good experience. We first met at the market and had time to look around. We then cooked 3 dishes with the right balance of independence and support. The dishes were yummy and plentiful. I would have preferred meeting earlier (e.g. 5pm rather than 6pm) because we ate relatively late and the class finished around 9:15pm making it a long day. Expensive compared to other activities in Seoul available.
- wickedlydevilish00Great dishes from simple ingredients!Activity started with a walkthrough of Mangwon Market. Instructor explained some of the ingredients and typical Korean stalls along the way. Cooking studio was short walk from the market— extremely well organised & complete with kitchen assistants to facilitate kitchen appliances and ingredients. This made the experience smooth and easy. Our group cooked three delicious dishes Kimchi Stew, Japchae and Stir-fried Spicy Pork. Cooking class catered for all skill levels. The quality of food made from such simple ingredients still amazes me!
- 88zhanatm00I learn something greatIt was the best cooking class ever All of us had so much fun learning from the sweetest teacher in Seoul! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I’ll be back next year for different classes!
- travelsnearandfar00Amazing Tradition Korean Dishes5 out of 5 The tour started at the meeting location with Chef Jomin. She took our group of 6 to the local market and showed use many interesting items that locals use for cooking. We even had 25 minutes of free time to explore the market. Next we went to her cooking studio. Great set up. Our group made three items: Spicy Tofu Stew, Bibimbap, and Beef Bulgogi. All three were fun to make. Everything tasted delicious. We will make these when we return home! Best cooking class that I have taken (I’ve done 20+ classes) !
- Explore3206980636600Fabulous Korean Cooking ClassThe tour started with a walking tour of a local market- basically our group of 6 were the only tourists. Chef Jomin showed use so many things in the market. Had 15 minutes free time to explore. Then to the Chef’s kitchen. We made three dishes: Spicy Tofu Stew, Bibimbap, and beef bulgogi . Enjoyed all three and plan to make them at home. It was so fun and enjoyable! Best cooking class that I’ve taken! Have taken about 20 classes and this was the BEST!
- 702nigell00Fun, professional and tasty.Fun, professional and tasty. Clear and helpful teaching and great little book of recipies. Great area of Seoul to explore into the bargain.
- Sidra A00Great Experience! This class was so fun! You start with walking through the market and get to learn about some of the food. Then you go to the chefs kitchen which is awesome. You’re given her full cook book so you can make things more than kimchi. The class was pretty easy to follow, the food was good, and you get a lot of kimchi to take with you after. Also you’re made pork and tofu to eat with your kimchi. Overall super happy and would recommend
- 662ryannev00Amazing Kimchi making day!An amazing experience! We walked through the market of Mangwon, had a 15 minute break to get some snacks and afterwards we went on to kimchi making. You'll get your own cookbook where you can make the recipes at home exactly like how you made it in the studio! 100% recommend.
- ashleygresh9200An absolute Must!!This experience was absolutely amazing! From the food, to the company, and to the Host. The kitchen was clean and Spectacular, the cooking utensils were all supplied and the whole experience was organized. The Host also made sure to wait or contact missing people from the group before leaving the station. She always responded to my messages quickly! I would definitely recommend and participate again. I learned a lot and will be incorporating them into my new cooking routine!
- Q1547LKdavidk00Fun experience that we really enjoyed. The overall experience which included the market tour, cooking and eating three entrees was perfect. Additionally, the friendly environment fostered a social atmosphere allowing all the students to interact with each other.
- KurisuKP00Brilliant, no experience needed! This was a really good experience. It was great to have someone walk you round the market and explain what the different ingredients (and the various snack foods on sale) are. The class itself was great. I try Korean cooking at home so am familiar with the ingredients, but now I know what I've been doing wrong! I would definitely recommend this.
- Extraordinary25784900Cooking Korean...Excellent cooking excursion. The information given to us while walking the market was knowledgeable. The cooking studio was very well put together, and the food we were taught to make was very delicious. Thank you for a wonderful time.
- O2286XLlynh00Delicious cooking classThis was a great class. Super well organised, wonderful cooking facilities and a warm welcoming and very informative facilitator

I cooked 4 types of Korean food.
I’m sure I’ll cook the food in my country again because all of them are easy to cook and so delicious!
She is so kind and friendly and I really had a good time.

The host was awesome. I was the only one present fo the 11 am tour and class, and gratned I am Korean American, but even I felt like I learned more about the subtle skills involved with this end of Korean cooking. I'm mostly good at cooking Korean entrees, so it was nice to get a more guided experience through banchan (side dish) cooking.
The tour through the market was pleasant. The host and I had a very good discussion about what to notice in ingredient selection, the seasonality of certain items, and general big ideas that govern a lot of Korea cooking.
The class itself was very guided. I'm personally a very well trained home cook, so I was initially annoyed that a lot of the prep work was done for me, but that also means for novice cooks, you'll be in good hands. But again, the host and I had a very awesome discussion about techniques and elements of Korean cooking throughout the class.
I really recommend this to especially novice cooks and people interested in a very unique aspect of Korean cuisine and gastronomy. For more experienced cooks, just come in expecting a little more hand holding than you're used to, but realize there's space to be more esoteric with what you're looking to get out of this.

This was a blast, I highly recommend! Joomin was incredibly sweet and was the perfect combination of hands on and hands off when it came to the actual cooking.
