Awesome Alternative

The JSA/DMZ was closed when we visited, the company suggested this tour as an alternative. Both me and my wife were not disappointed. Our guide Sophie was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. Very easy to talk to, excellent English, answered many of our questions and made us feel very welcome! Highly recommend if the DMZ/JSA is not available.

Alternative trip to DMZ
Feb 2020 • Solo
Due to swine flu; we were unable to go to DMZ but this alternative tour is a great replacement. NANCY was very knowledgeable with history and gave us a run down of the reason behind the two Korean countries. She was open to questions and gave us some tips on popular tourist spots and restaurants. The Korean Was Memorial museum was a great way to end this tour. Thank you for a very memorable time Nancy! 👍👍👍

Great tour and tour guide!
A really great no shopping tour to the MDL. The group has about 30, but easily managed. The trip was originally booked for the DMZ tour, but due to ASF the place is off limits, in which I was already aware of. Communication via TripAdvisor inbox was quick, almost same day! As company made fast contact to confirm whether or not I wanted to go with the alternative route, and of course I accepted. I was picked up from the hotel and was driven to the closest meeting point where I met our tour guide Nancy.

Nancy was kind and excellent and driver of the group was stable! She gave us a brief regarding the Korean War and how major powers around the world got involve and it was a sad history and reality that families were split up. She also carefully explained any precautions we should be aware of. Again, many thanks to Nancy and the drivers and would certainly choose the company again if the DMZ is reopened.

I really enjoyed this tour. Our driver and tour guide were amazing. Our tour guide’s name was Moon and she was super informative, thorough, and answered all our questions and then some. I’m really glad I went on this tour. Worth every penny. Also, they picked me up directly at my hotel. Super convenient. Dropped us off at City Hall which luckily for me is a 2 min walk to my hotel.
