        Night Tour to Remember
Our guide for this private tour was Kim. This tour was actually a spur of the moment decision brought about by the Garden of Morning calm light illumination festival held at night. We asked our previous tour guide Kim if he does any night tour, and he recommended this customized private night tour. It was the best decision we made. Kim picked us up from our hotel around midday and explained to us the itinerary. He took us to Namsan Tower (renowned for the love locks). We walked around, took some photos, and bought a lovelock of course. Afterwards, Kim took us to some hidden gems around Seoul where we could see some of the more spectacular views of the city. We walked around the neighborhood and saw some of the old, traditional houses. Kim took us to another Korean BBQ with the best pork in town. It was another wonderful, delicious, and reasonably priced meal. It was brilliant to have a local cook and recommend what side dishes goes well with the BBQ. With our tummies full, we started our journey to the Morning Calm illumination light. It was truly an exceptional sight to see, very different from what we saw during the day. Kim took photos if us and allowed us to walk around on our own. The photos and videos did not do the light festival any justice. One will need to go and experience it in person. The intricate light displays were incredible and outstanding, there are no words. We want to thank Kim again for organizing and planning this private night tour for us, it was truly worth it! We highly recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic experience of Seoul/Korea.

        Unforgettable and Memorable Private Tour
Our guide for this private tour was Kim. He picked us up from our hotel on time in a clean, comfortable car that made us feel like we are K Pop celebrities! Kim was very knowledgeable, funny, helpful, and friendly. He happily took photos of us when we asked him. He encouraged us from the beginning of the tour to ask him as many questions about be it about the tour or Korea. Kim organized all the entrance tickets for the places we visited and explained the significance of the notable areas in each of the locations. After introducing and explaining us about the location, Kim allowed us to wander around on our own and enjoy the different sceneries, which we absolutely appreciated. Our first stop was Le Petite France which was about 1.5 hours drive from Seoul. It was a very charming and delightful mini-France which also has guest houses that can be rented out. This place is also a very popular K drama location. Shows like Secret Garden a My Love from the Stars filmed in this spot. Next stop was Nami Island-a popular spot made famous by K drama show Winter Sonata. However, it was more than a show location. Looking and walking around the island in winter was truly magical and unforgettable. There were so many things to do and see. Then it was time for lunch. Kim took us to a Korean BBQ restaurant famous for its chicken. Kim happily took over the BBQ cooking and picking all the side dishes to go best with our meal. It was truly one of the best lunch experience! We were so full at the end. Last stop was the Garden of Morning Calm. It was a beautiful garden with illumination lights set up. Unfortunately, we did not see the night light festival as we did the day tour. We decided that we had to come back. Overall, it was truly a memorable day trip. We didn’t know a lot about the places we visited but by the end of the tour, we truly loved and in awe. Kim gave us a private tour we will always remember for a long time. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Korea. Thank you Kim for an outstanding tour!

        Pali Pali with Jimmy
Great day out with Jimmy split into 3 parts The DMZ component - Jimmy kept us on our toes, which allowed us to beat the rush to see places of interest such as the third tunnel which we had to ourselves for a period before the hordes descended . Jimmy was informative throughout and made sure we had lots of photos ( we meaning my wife) Lunch - Traditional Korean, I was very impressed that everyone tried what was put in front of them considering how fussy my family is when it comes to food. I enjoyed my beef rice broth stew, pancakes & dumplings immensely. Gloucester Memorial & Bridge - personally this was the highlight of the day for me the Battle of Imjin River is legendary amongst those that have served or are affiliated with the British Army, and is a strong reminder of the sacrifices young British Men made to help keep Korea free from communism, their hardships helped South Korea become the great country it is today. Jimmy’s tour is a full on day and I recommend it to everyone. Jimmy was a great guide/ host

2nd time round just as good.
We went skiing with Outdoors Korea and Mr Kim Chance back in Jan 2020. We had such a great experience then we thought it would be great to book again with Mr Kim in Jan 2024. I’m pleased to say we were not disappointed. We got picked up early and were at the ski resort before it got busy, giving Mr Kim plenty of time to give us a refresher while the slopes were quiet. On our 2020 trip Mr Kim spent a good four hours teaching us the basics. This trip myself and the kids were ready to tackle the slopes solo after about two hours my wife had some additional coaching before joining us. Because we got to the ski resort early we had an hour or so’s skiing before lunch after coaching and over 4 hours after lunch. Mr Kim also sorted out our discounted ski passes again. It was great catching up with Mr Kim again and seeing that he got through COVID relatively unscathed. I can’t recommend Mr Kim or outdoors Korea enough. Mr Kim is a character We also booked a trip to the DMZ with Outdoors Korea.

        Everland never happen
Charged with premium of USD $460 for family of 3 only. Totally NOT meant for Premium Private Tour concept It is only meet and greet at the hotel, then drive you there. Driver do not even drop us at the Evenland doorstep, expressed too crowed unwilling to drop us at door step. Make us take shutter with him. Then, merry-go-round with him for another 45mins for him to figure out how to get the entrance ticket for the family of 3. So wasted almost 2 hours of your 8 hours. By the time we get everywhere is packed with queues. We left with 5 hours (1 hours to travel back), seriously with the queue, we did not get to take any ride, except, we only managed to spent 2.5 hours queued for one and only one safari tram tour, with this long queue hours, we still the exceed 15mins of going back to the main entrance. Driver start messaging us want to charge us USD 20. So we took our own sweet time, stay there until it is really 30 mins, so that we will be giving him the extra cash only for 15 min late. Please take in mind once again: it is not premium private tour, is only meet at hotel, drive you there, and lousy luck you may waste about 2 hours with driver to sort out his poor orgnisation logistic arrangement before you get to get in. NOT A Premium Private Tour - no tour at all. Driver only drop you and sort out your entrance (wasted your time, no prior planning) then you sort our your life inside. Basically, when you get in, see only, not enough time to do rides. Given such price, usually the guide will drive and follow you 8 hours, but this the total ripe off. The only good thing is booked under Trip Advisor, could let you air out your unhappiness, so that you could feel better from a ripe off feeling. Also, Trip Advisor, did responded with 10% refund (in SGD). The tour operator trip advisor engaged really a tyrant and do not know the meaning of Premium Private Tour and email all sort of reason to justify their lousy package selling via Trip Advisor.

        A must see in Seoul
Excellent day trip with a well knowledged guide who was very informative about the area & the sites. It was well worth the money for a private tour.

        Amazing hike
This was the highlight of my trip to Seoul. Chance Kim was an amazing guide. He took the time to get to know me and my hiking style during the drive up. I had the perfect hike at my pace as a power hiker yet allowed me to stop to take pictures. Breath taking view of Seoul. Lunch was amazing.

Incredible tour with the BEST tour guide (Alfonso!)
What a fabulous experience! I was in town alone on business and decided to book this tour last minute. Did not disappoint. My guide was Alfonso - he was EXCEPTIONAL - definitely request him for this tour. Former military and a true expert in the area. Excellent communication from the moment of booking. Timely pick up and truly the most spectacular time. My only regret is that I was alone and didn’t have my family to share it with me - because I’m certain my children and husband would have loved it as well. This is a cannot miss tour.

BEWARE!!! Stay away from this company!! They will try to pull a switch of price in you!! I spent hours trying to find the perfect itinerary for Korea. I thought the tour sounded fabulous. I booked it on TripAdvisor and paid in full. I contacted the tour company to make sure the attractions would be opened the days we were there. Their response was asking us if we would change our date, then told us we had to pay an extra $500 when we got to Korea if we kept the date we booked through TripAdvisor with the excuse that hotels were more expensive. If that was the case, it should have stated that on the website. I tried to work with them by stating I would book the hotel on my own or end the tour in Busan. But instead of trying to work with me, the company asked me to cancel!! Don’t waste your time!! I was so excited for my trip to Korea and now I am considering canceling the whole thing because of the bitter taste that this company left.

Great way to experience a slice of Korean history
I signed up for this three day package, as part of a quick introduction to Korea for my children. When signing up, I didn't realize it was going to be a "private" tour, open only for 5 of us in our family. And this afforded us a great deal of flexibility for the tour, e.g. when/where to be picked up/dropped off, how much time to spend in various stops, etc. Our driver and guide, "Mr. Chance Kim," was courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt in his response to our requests. He stayed on top of the scheduled stops, and ensured that we hit the highlights. He conversed in English and in Korean with equal ease, which came in handy. This certainly was an enjoyable and learning experience for my children as well as me. As a parting gift, our guide presented us with a photo package that contained pictures he took of us and the sites we visited. The professional grade photos were yet another reminder of this great trip for us to keep in our memories for years to come.

Knowledgeable and kind to my family of elderly parents and young high school daughter
Kim is very wise and did a fantastic job. I requested a private tour because I have elderly Korean parents who I wanted to bring back to their homeland. I am Korean American don't speak Korean well and I brought my fifteen year old daughter. Kim kept the tour very interesting and he has so much experience working with people from all over the world. I so appreciate all that he did for us! Andong is very beautiful and well worth the trip!

The trail to Daecheongbong Peak in Seoraksan National Park is one of Korea's finest, an absolute must visit if you have two days away from Seoul. Nestled here, and within sight, is also the Dinosaur Ridge, one of Korea's best kept secret mountain getaways for the enthusiastic hiker. On a clear day, North Korea's mountain landscape sets a scene too. Kim is an avid Korean mountaineer in heart and mind and his stories, as he guides you, will resonate perfectly with the backdrop of the Baekdu Daegan range. This is one trek you would not want to miss.
