At first, we visit the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. It is an impressive structure from the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and it is also the official fortress of Suwon city. The fortress was designated as Historical Monument Nº3 in January 1963, and on December 1997, it was also designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The Suwon Hwaseong Palace is a temporary palace where the king and royal family retreated during a war. This is one of the largest palaces, used by the Joseon kings since the time of King Jeongjo (r. 1776-1800). The Jangyongyeong guard ceremony is held at the front gate every Sunday from April to October.

          Great tour!
Brian was an amazing tour guide! It was my cousins’ first time in Seoul and he was very knowledgeable and was able to adjust the schedule based on our preferences. We learned a lot and had a fun day!

A day in Seoul with BTS
What a great tour! Any day is a great day with BTS! From “Spring Day” Ilyong station to the new HYBE building we spanned the years with BTS. Our guide Brian is amiable, flexible and knowledgeable. His english is excellent. From their humble beginnings we travelled through time visiting where they ate, where they lived and where they filmed some of their most iconic MV’s. We had done this tour before but brought our granddaughter back to enjoy her day with BTS! ARMY, do not hesitate. You will love this tour

Airport layover pick-up with city tour and drop off back to airport hotel.
I had Brian as my driver and guide. The pick up at the airport was really easy. He messaged me on WhatsApp where to meet. We went into Seoul . We the grand Palace tour, did a walking tour of the old village and the blue house. The entire time Brian gave a commentary of Korean history and politics and past times. We ended up with a tour of the food market and dinner together. His sense of humor was fantastic. I really feel like I got an overview of the city. He then brought me back to my airport hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. I am so glad I took the opportunity of a long airport layover to do this. Probably the best tour experience I have had in years.

Private 1-day layover tour...........a good of taste of Seoul
I first heard about One Day Korea through Tripadvisor. Then I found out that a friend of ours also went on a tour with them with Brian as their guide. So when I booked a private tour for our 13-hour layover in South Korea with 11 members of my family, I made sure to request for Brian as well. Brian picked us up at the airport and we discussed the sites we wanted to see. He made recommendations so that we can make it back to the airport on time. They arranged for a mini-bus for our group and Brian was able to take us to locations we requested to see. We were able to stop by the Hybe building (my daughters are huge K-Pop fans); Namsan Seoul tower; rented Hanboks and took a quick walk inside Gyeongbukgung Palace; and had a quick shopping trip at Myeongdong. We made it back to the airport with more than enough time to check our additional baggage in from all the purchases we made from the day. Brian was really nice, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. He was able to give us a good taste of Seoul in the short time we were there. Thank you Brian for a great time! We'll definitely return and use them on our next trip to South Korea. Hopefully the trip will be longer than 1 day :-)

Handbook Photoshoot with Jonathan. Highly Recommended!
I was planning to propose to my girlfriend. The team that organised this activity did an excellent job! They are very responsive to my queries and requests. We had lovely Jonathan as our photographer on that day; he was very friendly and would make you feel comfortable immediately. Jonathan discreetly advised me that he knew a special place at the palace to make the proposal exclusive and away from the public. Jonathan has captured such candid and beautiful photos! Thank you, Jonathan, for assisting me in making our day extra special. I really appreciate your hard work to make the proposal successful and memorable. You are oozing with kindness and dedication to this job. We had a very positive experience, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Additionally, the retouched photos look exquisite and impeccable! I highly recommend this photoshoot if you are visiting Seoul!

          Seoul Family Tour 2024
Had a great time w a broad spectrum of family members spanning young and old. If you can request, Brian comes highly recommended as he was very accommodating and informative. Having the personalized touch of a local made all the difference. The offbeat cafe stops and lunch made all the difference. Highly recommend!

          An outstanding tour of Seoul!
We very much enjoyed this tour and Billy was an outstanding guide, as he went above and beyond the call of duty. He helped us get traditional costumes for the palace tour and demonstrated an excellent knowledge of Seoul and Korea. We particularly enjoyed the changing of the guard at the palace and the tour of Bukchon Hanok Village.

Hanbok Photoshoot for Group of 7
Jonathan was a patient and experienced photographer who took great care to make sure our group and each individual all got the shots they wanted. There is a great deal of walking involved, but he knew the way around very precisely and had great stops for photos. He picked us up from our hotel promptly in the morning, took us to the hanbok rental shop, guided us through our extensive shoot at the palace grounds and hanok village, then dropped us off at our desired location nearby. We received photos within the week - the best shots were edited nicely, and the raws are provided as well. If you're hoping to learn any history you won't really get that experience, but if you want to dress up in hanbok and have nice photos to remember your trip to Seoul with then I would highly recommend this!

DO NOT book - complete waste of money
Save your money and get a Taxi. The tour guide ruined our experience. From pick up and struggling to meet at the agreed to location to not listening to our requests. Each stop had its comical issues. The "market" he brought us to he could not figure out how to park. Once he did he could not find the entrance and inside he did not know where to go or provide any indication on why we were there. We asked for coffee and he had to ask for where coffee was. The coffee shop we went to no one should ever do to. He got a parking ticket. It was horrible. After leaving the "market" he brought us to the palace which was on our hit list. We parked. Walked upstairs to the courtyard. Walked probably 500ft before he stopped and said wait. We should leave and come back to watch the changing of the guards in 3 hours. OK we did that. No history of the palace. No information about why we were there. Then we drove behind the palace on our way to the traditional Korean village. He pointed out the blue house and indicated the president used to live there. My wife asked who the president was. He had to google it. We got to the traditional Korean village. No info on it from him. While walking my wife popped into an art gallery. Our tour guide struggled to facilitate a conversation with the gallery owner. After that we knew he did not speak english well but were now wondering if he spoke Korean well. After the traditional Korean village we asked to go to a street we had passed to eat lunch and shop. He completely disregarded our ask and brought us to an old Korean restaurant. We got out of the car and told him to meet us in 2 hours to go back to the palace. My wife an I found our own market and place to eat. On the way to the palace he stopped by a temple- no info as to why or the history. He could not park. Told us to jump out and get a Photo- strange. We did which made us late to the Palace where he again asked us to jump out so we would not miss the changing of the guard while he parked. We did. We saw the changing of the guard which is interesting but not what we expected and he was not there to help inform. I decided I wanted to end the tour early and go back to the airport. I was DONE. I've wasted $460 before but this has to be the worst way. Seoul is a beautiful city. Lots to explore. I'd suggest booking transport to the places you want to see an the locals will help you at every place you stop.
