Be ready for pickup at your Seoul hotel between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., depending on the location of your accommodations. Meet your guide and be seated in a comfortable shared transfer vehicle, then head for the Andong Hahoi Village.
Stroll through the village, surrounded by hills and a river, taking in the scenery and learning about the traditional Korean mask called the Hahoital, which originates in the town.
Depart for Byeongsan Seowon, a Confucian academy that was active during the Joseon Dynasty. This place was one of the few in Andong that was not destroyed during Daewongun's rule in 1868. Your next stop is the Bongjeong Zen Buddhism Temple, built in the King of Shilly Dynasty. See the oldest wooden building in Korea, Geuknakjeon, and the collection of three-story stone pagodas. Return to your hotel in Seoul for drop-off.
